"YOU’RE DEAD YOU FUCK!" The wolf spoke baring it teeth

Gordon clenched his jaw and swam back, the water sprayed on him as it hit the lake but he kept his eyes on the wolves ignoring the cold

’They not going to jump in lake because of their wounds’ Gordon tightened his grip on the rock and threw it at their leader

"You must be in a hurry to die" the wolf jumped into the lake while the other four stood at the shoreline

’I need to make them all come into the water’ he looked at the wolf as it swam to him, he took a deep breath then dived into the water

He looked back and saw the wolf right behind him then it vanished when it was close to Gordon but he smiled as he felt the vibration of the water as it moved

He felt something lunging to him, he swam to the left but it bit his right forearm bubbles came out as he gritted his teeth

He used his left arm to feel the wolf then he bit the thing he felt

"GRRR"

It screamed as Gordon bit its ear off then Gordon swam behind it as it screamed and chocked it, cutting its screams short the wolf tried to swim up for air

But Gordon was doing his best to keep it underwater as it slowly lost it strength

Gordon didn’t bother looking at the notification as he swam up for air

"Huff..huff.huff" he gasped for air as the wolves growled at him

’I can’t fight them on the ground’ he swam closer to the shore line trying to bait the wolves to jump into the water but as he got closer the wolves looked at each other then ran down the slop

’No I can’t let them run away what if they get support?’ he swam to the shoreline then picked up rocks and threw them at the four fleeing wolves

He sighed as he looked at the wolves vanish behind the tree’s

’I have find the stone of life and leave this place’ as he looked down the slop he saw the wolves bodies slowly getting covered by the snow

He gritted his teeth as he ran through the snow to the bodies for the cores, he looked through the snow for any hidden bodies but after a while walked up the slop

He felt shivers as stepped back on the rocky shoreline and water touched his frozen feet

’I’ll take some for myself and give some to the others and whatever remains we will give to Vice’ he looked at 44 cores then he gulped them down his throat

He swallowed 8 mana core and put the rest in the pouch, he no longer felt cold as he looked at the frothy cascade of water falling into the lake

He went into the lake and put the three bodies inside ’I should go and look for Scarlet and Johnny’

He walked down the slop as the sky turned reddish and the shadows grew then the wind went still under the cover of night

’Why is this place so creep, I wonder how Freya is doing?’ his eyes widen ’Freya went to another place like this’

He ran through the snow and past the tree’s to the peak the wolves were leading him to ’that bastard said it would be easy, Freya must be in trouble’

The tree’s had long vanished as he kept climbing up the slop as fast as he could then he heard Scarlet voice echoing up the slop

"JOHNNY RUN!"

He ran into a cave as the cold wind pushed him inside, it smelled of musky fur but Gordon did not care as he ran to find Scarlet then

He saw a 5 foot(153 cm) white wolf, it had Johnny in it mouth then it looked at Gordon

"YOU HAVE THE SCENT OF MY KIN" Its deep voice echoed through the cave but Gordon looked past it to Scarlet who stood behind the wolf

"SCARLET RUN!" His voice echoed as he screamed

The wolf dropped Johnny’s body and ran to Gordon

"Thud"

"Fuck" he ran out of the cave then the wolf jumps in front of him

’I can’t go back to the cave I’ll be trapped if I do’ he looked down at the growling wolf, he slowly removed the pouch from his neck then

The wolf lunged up the slop with it mouth wide open to Gordon but he took out a dead wolf and threw it into the wolf’s mouth

"YOU SWINE" it spoke as it spit out the dead wolf but Gordon jumped on its face and used his claw to stab its right eye

"AGHH"

It groaned then Gordon stabbed its left eye, the wolf clenched it jaw and shock him off its head

"Agh"

He flew and slammed into the ground ’why is the snow here so thin’ he stood up and looked at the wolf

Even with its eyes closed the wolf’s head looked at Gordon

’How am I supposed to kill this?’ he looked down the slop and took a step, the wolf growled and he ran

He glanced back to see it catching up, he open the pouch and dropped the two wolf bodies and jumped to the right

"Thud"

He snow softened his landing as he looked at the wolf trip and tumble down the slop, he looked for any thing that could help him kill it

"Thats good enough" he looked at a lump in the snow and ran to it, he picked up the boulder and ran down the slop

"I can lets it stand up" he ran after the wolf rolling down the slop then it hit a tree

"Thud"

It whimpered then tried to stand up but Gordon dropped the boulder on its head

"AGHH"

"though bastard" he picked up the boulder and kept dropping it on the wolves head until its limbs stopped moving

He smiled as he looked at the notification then he remembered about Freya, he put the wolfs body in the pouch and ran up the slop

He heard crying as he walked inside the musky cave, he saw Scarlet crying on top of Johnny body

’I deal with her later, right now I have to find Freya’ he walked past Scarlet and went straight to purple crystal in the dirt wall

He touched the core

He pressed no easily then waited for another notification

He looked to Scarlet who was wiping her tears away

"He said we should do what when it asks to teleport us?" He waited for Scarlet to finish

"He said to press no then keep your hand on the crystal another notification will appear if the leader of enemies is dead" she spoke with puffy eyes

He pressed no and kept waiting

"Gordon everyone is dead" she spoke in a shaky voice

"I know" Gordon’s mind was only focused on Freya

"Don’t you care?" She asked

He pressed yes and ignored Scarlet, a familiar green floating portal appeared

He put the crystal in the pouch and walked to the portal then

"GORDON!!"

He looked back at Scarlet

"Our friends are dead and your just going to leave without mourning them, don’t you care?" She spoke

"Scarlet they die all the time, right now our living friends are in danger and you want to stand here wasting time" Scarlet had no words as Gordon left

Gordon stepped out of the portal, the stars filtered through the tree’s as the wind rustle through the leaves but Gordon didn’t care as he ran past the tree’s back to the mine

"Please be fine Freya" he mumbled as he stepped into the mine and ran through it’s dirt walls with red glowing crystals

He ran into the portal then appeared in the middle of tree’s

As the sun pierced through the tree’s Gordon ran to where they live, a leaf fell on his head as he ran then he stood in the middle of tree’s with burrows hidden beneath their roots

He couldn’t find her ’him’ he looked to where he met Vice and ran

The branches scrapped his skin as he ran but he did not care he had to find Vice

When he ran past the few tree’s that remained to the clearing he smiled as looked at Freya

’I’ll do it now, the won’t be a next time I’ll confess now’ he walked to Fraye ignoring Valeria and Jones

"Freya" she turned and looked at him

"I love you" he looked at her with the best smile he had waiting for a response

"Sorry Gord..." the world went silent when he heard her apologise he didn’t need to listen to the rest a no is a no and he knew that, his body fell to the ground as he lost conscious

Gordon has been awake for two days without sleep he was mentally and physically tied when he heard Freya rejection he finally gave in to exhaustion.
