Vice stood up, the cave had a dark purplish light

He looked at the skill, he wasn’t impressed the skill would have been a game changer if he had capable people around him but right now it meant nothing to him

’I should have stayed in that C-Rank dungeon’ he sighed as he opened the pouch, taking out the dead wolf

He used the dagger to cut it open, taking out the mana core [Affinity provider] he used the skill and waited for a notification

’Its better than nothing’ he pressed yes as the cold wind found its way into the cave

He put everything into his shadow space the cave went dark without the dungeon core, Vice sat on the dirt and thought about his next steps

’Only 5 returned from F-Rank dungeons if I send them to face the Association I’ll die before ever seeing Nate and the twins’ he hands balled into fists at the thought of having to depend on this weaklings for his plan

’The only one I can use for the plan is Gordon, I’ll teach him that swordsmanship then send him to the goblin dungeon’ he sighed ’but that won’t be enough to make him ready to fight against the Association no I’m thinking in a wrong way I should start with something smaller as their goal’

He smiled ’the city is perfect, if they can destroy the city it will prove that I can use them as an army against the Association’

’Right now I should forget about the Association and focus on destroying the city, if they fail this time I’m killing them all’ he walked to exit that had a reddish light

He walked down the slop, small rocks clattered down the mountainside as he moved, he saw stones and boulders dotting the landscape

After a while he saw twigs and detritus on the forest floor, he wiped the sweat from his forehead as he looked back at the mountain ’that was a fucking workout’

He opened the dungeon map looking for Gordon, he walked between the tall trees rising out of the earth to brush the sky

He saw Gordon eating leaves

"Your adjusting well to change in the environment" Gordon jerked off the ground and looked at Vice

"Calm down I’m not going to attack" Gordon stepped away from Vice

"You passed your training with outstanding colors, your now at level 104 thats impressive" Gordon stepped back from Vice

"How do you know my level?" Vice sat down as brief flashes of sunlight touch his skin

’I should skip the chit chat’ Vice raised his mana pressuring Gordon not to move, his eyes widen as he looked at Vice

’How should I do this? With Valeria I used force and manipulation that failed but I can’t be careless with how I approach my new pawn’ he removed the pressure on Gordon

"Sorry about that I’m not good at socialising" Vice smiled while Gordon stood their frozen

"Gordon what do you want?" He removed the smile and spoke in a serious tone

Gordon said nothing but Vice did not mind waiting it was his first time trying to be friendly to someone since he was a child, all he knew was how to threaten people into behaving but that failed

The wind rustled the leaves as he waited

"For everyone to be safe" Gordon finally spoke

’he wants safety and I want control but I doubt he will let me use him for my goal without anything in return’ Vice leaned closer to Gordon

"Thats possible but difficult, I can only help you if your willing to do the work" he spoke

"As long it is not a trick I’m willing to do anything" Gordon spoke

’We need to archive a level of understanding for him not to feel tricked’ he thought as dead leaves knocked loose by the wind swirling to the ground

"Then tell me what are the things threatening your safety?" He spoke

"The humans, nagas,bats and you" Gordon stepped as Vice narrowed his eyes

"The bats and nagas are dead, I won’t attack you unless provoked then your problem is with the humans?" He spoke and Gordon nodded

"If you want the humans to stop attacking, you have to make them believe its a bad idea to attack your home" Vice spoke

"How?" Gordon spoke and Vice was doing his best not to smile

"You need strength but strength is not enough after you have strength you make them experience the same horror you experienced" Gordon eyes widen when he heard his words

"Can’t we talk with t.."

"No" Vice didn’t need to listen to that question, he needed them to face the Association and this meant facing humanity

Gordon was trapped in his thoughts and Vice could see it was going to take a while before he makes up his mind

Vice planned on turning Gordon into a celestial ratman then he saw the new feature of the dungeon system

’Finally something useful’ he smiled as the new features made him change every step in his plan
