CHAPTER 64: CHAPTER 64: RUN

"Huff..huff..huff" Vice dragged his feet across the sand, he looked around but he could no longer see a way back

He sighed as he walked through the sand and rock landscape dotted with cacti ’where am I even going?’

He couldn’t see a single cloud in the sky, he stopped walking as he looked at the hawks and buzzards circling in the sky

He licked his dry lips as looked at them ’if I pretend to be dead they’ll come down’

"Puff"

He dropped his knee’s looked at the blue sun ’what kind of dungeon is this?’ he fell flat on the hot sand waiting for the birds to fly down

A bazzard flew down far away from Vice looking at his body ’come here succulent bird I’m dead and delicious’ he waited for the buzzard to come then

The bazzard flew away but he did not move waiting for another on to come "You see I told if we wait it will die from the sun"

Vice eyes widen as he heard voices behind him ’I didn’t hear them approach me’

"Its a big catch I’ve never seen this kind of rodent, its bigger than the one’s were hunting" a different voice spoke

’they don’t know I’m still alive’ Vice smiled ’they are weaker than me’ Vice stood up the two hobgoblins eyes widen as they looked at Vice

’Are they pretending to cowboys’ he smiled as he looked at the revolvers on their waist, the hobgoblins were riding hyenas the size of a donkey

"Look its still alive" the hobgoblins pointed their revolves at Vice while he looked at their clothes ’that one is the same hight as me’

"Bang"

Their bullets hit the sand as Vice reappeared behind a hobgoblin and choked it

"Hehe-heehe"

The hyena threw them off its back and ran off but Vice held the hobgoblin neck tight as they fell to the sand the other one pointed its revolver at him

"Put him down and I won’t shoot" it spoke but Vice hid behind the hobgoblin as he chocked it

"Put the gun down" he deepened his voice as he tightened his hold, the hobgoblin eyes were going to pop out of its skull as it struggled for air

"Puff"

The gun was dropped to the sand "I’ve put the gun down now let him go" it spoke as it climbing off the hyena, it had a straight back it limb reached its knee’s

"I’ll kill him if you let that hyena run" the hobgoblin held the hyenas reins tight "good, now tell where am I?"

"Huff"

He loosened his hold letting the hobgoblin breath then he tightened it "talk"

"Were in the desert" the hobgoblin tried to take step closer but when Vice tightened his hold it stepped back

"I can see I’m in a desert but where? I was in a forest then I was here where does it end?" He loosened his chock as the birds squawk

"Im not going to explain the world to you, here is a map read it" it took out a map from one of the bags on the hyena and threw it to the sand

"Puff"

"Good" he smiled as looked at the map

"Lets him go" the hobgoblin stepped closer to Vice

"Yes but before that, where is the forest?" the hobgoblin didn’t speak simply pointed behind Vice

"Ok you can have him" he snapped the hobgoblin neck then reappeared behind the other one before It could even flinch he snapped its neck

It held the reins tight even dead, Vice looked through the bags for water and gulped it down

"Haa" he felt relieved ’why would a monster have a map of a dungeon’ he narrowed his eyes as he looked at the hobgoblin, he took the reins

He touched its body[Void space] the body vanished, he did the same to the other hobgoblin then picked up the map

’Is climbing a hyena the same as a horse’ he looked at the hyena with scrutiny then climbed it

He pulled the rein to the opposite direction to the forest then the hyena ran to that direction

’I need to get far away from that psycho’ he passed the withered tree’s, rode through the ravines and riverbeds with crackled dry beds

The hyena slowed down after a while it seemed to be tired he climbed off and gave it some hobgoblin as he ate

’I’m far enough’ he put the map on the sand

"Bottom tier continent" he read the title of the map the continent was divided into two sides, the forest and the desert each side had towns and a cities

’The closest town is in the canyon’ he climbed the hyena and kept riding to the canyon as he looked at the remaining time he had to return to the dungeon

"You can leave" Jones looked at the rat that came from the forest, the rat nodded and ran out of the cave, he turned and looked at others

"What should we do?" He looked at Valeria and she looked at Gordon who sat in the dark at the back of the cave

’he really came but the problem is that the forest goblins have him’ Gordon looked at light at entrance

"We don’t need worry about him he’ll be fine I’ve seen him fight goblins he doesn’t struggle like us" Lucas with his scar filled body spoke

"Why don’t we send someone to bring him to the desert" Freya looked at Valeria

’If we send someone they’ll have to go beyond the edge of the forest, and since no one knows the forest they’ll die’ Gordon looked beyond the light at cave entrance to the other side of the canyon ’the goblins are still hunting us with those dogs we can’t carelessly leave the cave’

"Gordon say something" Scarlet stood in front of Gordon

"Tell every rat to spread out through the desert and ask the mouse for help they know this place better than us" he stood up "every ratman stays hidden those two goblin are still looking for us"

"What about Vice he is in the forest" Valerian looked at Gordon as walked to the entrance

"If he comes to the desert we will find him, if he goes deeper into forest the is nothing we can do except hide in canyon" the dry wind found its way into cave as he stood at entrance

’It’s difficult to see the goblins in the forest, he’ll come here’ he looked down to the rivine
