That single word made Mimi’s heart thump with excitement!

Fufufu! She could barely contain herself as her imagination ran wild. What could it be? Saving kingdoms? Defeating demon lords? Leading an army of beasties into glorious battle?

"Yes, you’re going to become a hero! Our savior!" Lord Siamelumis laughed, her voice echoing like thunder yet playful as a songbird. "After all, this is something only you can do. Only the strongest Beast Tamer in Arventia will be able to accomplish this! Yes, this mission calls for ShadowWhizkersz_2603, Queen of the Legendary Beasts!"

"OOOOOOH!!!" Mimi squealed, her tail shooting straight up.

"So, are you excited?"

"HECK YEAAAHH!!" Mimi meowed loudly and proudly, chest puffed out.

At last—finally—her moment had arrived! This was it! Her time to shine! The dream she had whispered to the stars so many nights had finally become real!

However—

"Hold on! Wait a minute..."

Mimi froze mid-celebration. "If you wanted a hero, then... why a Noctifelis?"

Right...

Since Goddess Fauveline was the Goddess of Magical Beasts, it made sense she could only reincarnate Mimi as one of them. That much Mimi understood.

But the real head-scratcher was... why, out of all the powerful, cool, and glorious options, did they pick the absolute weakest, tiniest, bottom-of-the-tier-list Noctifelis?!

In both this world and in Arventia Online, the Noctifelis was without a doubt the weakest of all Magical Beasts.

If they truly wanted a hero, then making Mimi into a Noctifelis should have been the very last

choice!

It just made no sense at all!

Shouldn’t it have been better if she was reincarnated as a Legendary-tier beast instead?

Or, at the very least, an Epic-tier one?

No—actually, anything would have worked better than a Noctifelis!

If not a dragon, then maybe a wyvern, or even a mighty wolf!

Well... that made sense, sort of. But still... knowing just how fragile and pathetic a Noctifelis was, this quest was going to be really, really hard!

"Don’t worry, we’ve already prepared some help for you," Siamelumis assured her.

"Ohhh? Help?" Mimi repeated.

Then, her eyes widened as a thought struck her.

Wait, could it be—?

"Is it a cheat skill?!" Mimi gasped.

After all, in countless isekai stories and games, the protagonist always

received some kind of cheat skill to make their journey easier, smoother, and faster! It could be 100x experience, it could be stealing skills... With the power of Goddess Fauveline on her side, this sounds absolutely plausible! Perhaps... perhaps Mimi was about to receive one too!

"Please! It better be some really nice cheat skill!" Mimi was now praying desperately, her little paws clasped together as if begging to the heavens. "Or—or if not a cheat skill, then at least just lift this Sixfold Sacred Suppression! Pleaseeee! I beg you!"

Because honestly... this debuff sucked ass!

Mimi still remembered the first time she read it on her game screen.

Arventia Online had been really nicely balanced and all. EXCEPT THIS FREAKING DEBUFF!

It was literally an impossible debuff! Just... what the hell had the devs been smoking when they added this?! Did some black cats eat their babies or something?! Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to slap a SIXFOLD SACRED suppression on the weakest beast in the game?!

"Well, there is indeed a small cheat skill that the Goddess managed to create which can make your debuff more managable..." Siamelumis said at last.

"YESSSS!!!"

Mimi exploded with excitement!

Her tail curled up, her ears perked high, her whole body trembling with anticipation! It was happening! It was finally happening! Her cheat skill moment!

"But before that, there’s someone else you may want to see first," Siamelumis added with a knowing smile.

"Eh? Someone else?"

"Yup. Someone you know very well."

"Ooooh?"

Now Mimi’s curiosity shot through the roof! Who could it be???

Another reincarnated individual?

So... she wasn’t the only one who had been isekaied here?!

"Oh shit!" Mimi yelped, eyes going wide. "Don’t tell me—Lisa is dead too???"

Back in her previous life, Lisa had been Mimi’s very best friend.

But Lord Siamelumis shook her head.

A pang of disappointment pricked at her chest, but at the same time... Phew!

She felt a little relief.

Because unlike her, Lisa had a good life back in the real world, with good friends, family, people who loved her dearly. It would’ve been far too tragic if Lisa had died as well.

"Hmmm, then who is it?" Mimi wondered aloud, tilting her head.

"Alright, be prepared," Siamelumis said with a mischievous smile. "You’re gonna be sooooooo happy once you see her!"

"OOoohhh!" Mimi gasped, her tail swishing wildly now. Her heart thumped fast in her chest as anticipation surged through her.

Siamelumis then closed her eyes. Her massive body began to glow faintly, bathed in a soft, ethereal light that rippled like the surface of water.

Then, "Little one, you can come out now," she said gently.

At her words, something stirred.

Suddenly, behind Siamelumis, one of the stars shone brighter—blindingly so! Its light grew, swelling until it filled the chamber with a brilliant radiance!

A flash of light burst forth—so bright that Mimi had to shield her eyes with her paws.

And in the blink of an eye... the star vanished.

But in its place, standing in the shimmering afterglow, another figure appeared!
