[Make sure those bastards won't regroup while I'm away] William sent these words to both Sloth and Fang, entrusting them with the chaotic frontline.

The situation looked in their favour, but William knew it was kept like this with delicate balance. The pressure must be maintained, or else the enemy would use the chance to regroup, arrange their ranks, and attack in an organised manner.

The biggest hit William dealt to the enemy was throwing them into such disarray. And that advantage must be maintained, and he knew the perfect person to do this task after him, Fang!

He sent extra instructions for Fang, and the latter just accepted these as orders, and didn't refute any. William's instructions were simple; he and other masters would use the special arrays and attack the enemy masters from far behind. As for Sloth and other masters not knowing how to make the array, they'd take the toll of handling the retaliation of the enemy.

Fang got one simple mission, [Never let them regroup or rearrange their lines!]

It was a simple mission, yet very crucial. William didn't need to go to such lengths and explain what he meant to Fang. He was positive that Fang would grasp the hidden meaning and even see the grand picture, which was what happened!

As he left the frontline for the old masters, he still kept an eye over the progress and development out there. Even if he was going to work somewhere far from the real fight, he could still take part in it using his bow and arrows!

"Now now, they didn't slack and didn't wait for me, great!" When William returned to where his friends and guild masters started working, he found no one out there!

All he found was lots of holes, filled with materials, waiting for him to finalise the formation. When he looked around, he spotted his friends attacking and venturing far ahead from the place they were supposed to wait for him at!

This meant they didn't wait for his return, took the initiative, and started their barrage of attacks over the enemies.

William liked this progress! They adapted fast, took their decision, which was the right one, and pushed hard for it. He couldn't help himself but to grin, while starting to work on the materials, linking them together using his spirit power.

Finishing one formation wouldn't take long, around five minutes or so. Yet William had to do it in ten minutes, as he had to distract his mind, and attack the enemies who tried to sneakily regroup away from Fang and Sloth.

His arrows kept raining down over those enemies until Fang and his little group of masters would take notice and rain these masters with their deadly attacks.

That didn't happen just once or twice, it kept happening all the time! William realised that without him, the old masters left out there would fail in their mission!

"Screw it! Even if it takes half an hour to finish one formation, I don't care!" William jumped from the first formation to the next one. And while working on it, he had to spend double the duration he spent on the first formation; twenty minutes!

This wasn't only because of his attacks over the enemies at Sloth and Fang direction, it was also thanks to the sudden attacks that came from behind the portal, targeting his friends and guild masters!

The enemy seemed to have regrouped behind the portal area, a place that wasn't easily spotted, and wasn't accessible so far. William didn't bother himself with what was going on at that area, as he didn't intend to attack this zone right now or else he'd suffer from the traps and formations laid down there.

When he spotted the large number of masters coming from behind the portal and heading towards his friends, he couldn't help but take out another bow and use the remaining two tails to launch volleys over the heads of the incoming enemies.

Even if his arrows were fierce, they weren't enough to wipe out the enemies. William didn't use these as a means to kill the enemy, but a way to alarm his friends and allies about the incoming danger they missed!

Once his friends and allies shifted their attacks towards the incoming enemies, William would stop, look for another source of trouble, then hit that with his arrows!

This made his working progress slower, but he didn't mind it. He had to keep the thin balance that kept their advantage in this late stage of war intact, or else they'd suffer another setback.

William's friends made lots of formations for him to finish! He didn't imagine they'd pack the formations closely, even part of these overlapped over each other.

He liked such an arrangement. Once the formations were activated, even if the portal gushed out ten thousand masters, he was confident they'd be stopped by this dense layer of defence!

[I've finished ten formations, sent for masters to activate them] after working for a few hours, William knew the enemies' reinforcements would arrive here at any given moment!

He kept a close eye over the portal, but so far it didn't give any sign of sending anyone. After three hours, and finishing ten formations, he decided it was time to activate them.

"Let's play it slow and safe," William jumped to work on another formation, while his friends didn't even move a muscle away from their spots. They were in the middle of fierce clashes, as the enemy focused more on this area. Yet they called out for masters from behind, who moved and started to activate the formations.

It was an expected move. After all, the enemies had it hard when dealing with the old masters. Even if they were few in number, they were quite formidable. Not to mention Fang and his little group of masters gave the enemies nightmares thanks to the arrays they were using.

William had to focus mainly on his friend's side, and at one time he dropped finalising the formations, and headed to help them out!
