CHAPTER 1684: 1684. YOU ARE BEING TOO CONTROLLING.

She looked coldly at Leo Hall’s increasingly dark face and mocked:

"In this world, there are people who live tougher lives than you, but their hearts remain positive and kind, full of sunshine. Yet, you live in the gutter and that’s not enough for you; you try to drag others down too. Leo Hall, this is why your parents only see your brother’s abilities and always look down on you."

"If you’re willing to live in the dark gutter, then on what basis do you resent others for not pulling you up?"

Leo Hall was dumbfounded by Elly Campbell’s words. He had initially planned to rebut a few sentences and threw in some sarcasm, but he couldn’t manage to utter a single word.

Moments later, he stood up from his seat, looked down at Elly Campbell, who was sitting in the chair with a face full of anger, and said:

"You’ve got too much on your plate. If you want Helen Melendy to stand on her own two feet again, then you’d better stay by my side obediently. Whatever I tell you to do, you do it!"

With that, he walked out of the café in a bit of a huff, pausing when he reached the door.

He walked over to the bar, took a pen, then picked up a tissue from the tissue box beside him, scribbled an address on it, crumpled it into a ball, and tossed it towards the back of Elly Campbell’s head.

When Elly Campbell turned around, she saw him making a smug expression, leaving with the words "come find me at the address above."

Elly Campbell lowered her head and picked up the crumpled tissue, glancing at it, and saw it was densely covered with an address.

Looking at the address on the tissue, Elly Campbell recognized that the place was about two bus rides away from where she was currently sitting — an abandoned factory in the Eastern District.

Since there were no people living there, the government was in no rush to develop that area.

Thinking back to the time when Leo Hall took her to his lab, it was roughly about a two-hour journey too. Could the address Leo Hall gave be his lab?
