Remarried Wife: She will Remarry, But Another Person
Chapter 37: Quite a Coincidence
CHAPTER 37: CHAPTER 37: QUITE A COINCIDENCE
That night, what kind of mood the man had while looking at those three paintings, Sabrina Hayes didn’t know.
Whether or not he changed his view of his daughter, she didn’t care.
Once they divorced, she would take Zara far away from him.
By then, his existence would be even more irrelevant!
The next morning when she got up, Jordan Hawthorne was on a business trip again. Sabrina Hayes wasn’t interested in tracking his moves.
All she was focused on now was seeing that psychologist as soon as possible.
Only with his help, would there be a chance for her daughter to be completely healed!
The waiting process was inevitably tough.
After two days of eager waiting, the appointed day finally arrived.
In the early morning, Elder Yates sent a car to pick her up.
Sabrina Hayes didn’t leave Zara at home today.
She decided that since she wasn’t sure how to persuade the other party, she might as well bring her daughter along.
This little cub was so adorable, maybe the bigwig wouldn’t have the heart to refuse upon seeing such a young patient suffering from autism, and would decide to treat her.
After all, she herself was the same way.
Every time she saw a patient in pain, she couldn’t help but lend a hand!
Apparently, Elder Yates had communicated this in advance, as no one stopped her from bringing the child along.
Thus, the mother and daughter got into the car and headed straight for the military compound.
Upon arrival, they needed to go through identity checks and verification, get an access card, and then they were allowed to proceed.
Even before she got out of the car, Sabrina Hayes could feel the stern and rigorous atmosphere outside.
After entering the compound, the car drove a little further before stopping in front of a building.
Outside, someone was already waiting.
This time, Sabrina Hayes was greeted by a commander from the special ops team.
Before coming, Elder Yates had mentioned this person to her.
— Wyatt Coleman!
He was younger than Elder Yates, but his rank was far above Yates’!
He had led special forces to accomplish numerous perilous missions, known as a legendary ’Tiger General’ character.
Sabrina Hayes recognized him almost instantly.
There was no mistaking it, as Commander Coleman’s presence was too commanding, his tiger-like eyes demanded authority without anger, his stance straight and solid like a spear, unconsciously creating a massive pressure.
Behind him, a few soldiers also carried an astonishing aura.
Initially, Sabrina Hayes felt slightly intimidated, but she quickly regained her composure, elegantly stepping forward to greet, "Hello, Commander Coleman, I am the doctor introduced by Elder Yates!"
Commander Coleman was somewhat surprised by her composed demeanor.
This young lady indeed had guts!
Far stronger than the soldiers who usually responded like mice before a cat when seeing him.
Commander Coleman secretly admired her and immediately extended his hand for a warm handshake.
After a few words, he went straight to the point, "Dr. Nash, Elder Yates has consistently praised your medical skills, so the treatment ahead will rely on you!"
"Rest assured, I will do my utmost."
Sabrina Hayes solemnly replied.
Commander Coleman was quite satisfied with her attitude and soon led the way into the treatment hall.
As soon as they entered, Sabrina Hayes saw neat rows of special ops team members.
Each one stood straight as a rod, their demeanor solemn, showing no signs of injury or defeat, instead exuding a fierce and icy aura!
Sabrina Hayes couldn’t help but feel immense admiration.
Without delay, she said, "Commander Coleman, shall we begin at once?"
Commander Coleman had no objections.
Since the upcoming treatment was a massive undertaking, Zara being around was inconvenient, so Commander Coleman especially arranged for two female staffers to take care of her.
Initially, Zara was a bit scared, but after knowing her mom needed to work, she obediently followed along.
When Sabrina Hayes saw her off, she casually glanced at the open space outside.
She had observed earlier that, coming from the entrance of the military compound, there was only this one parking spot.
If the bigwig came, he would definitely be visible at a glance.
Then, Commander Coleman would probably go out to greet him!
With thoughts put aside, Sabrina Hayes quickly began the treatment.
Upon examining them, she found that this group of special oprs members had few external injuries.
They must have been treated by military doctors right after coming off the battlefield.
The lingering injuries were almost entirely internal ones that could not be seen.
Such as acute rheumatism, muscle tear injuries, partial nerve necrosis, and inflammation or necrosis of bones...
Perhaps due to accumulated injuries coupled with failure to cure them immediately, they became chronic over the years, inevitably causing suffering.
For ordinary doctors, perhaps it would be hopeless, merely suggesting rest.
But for Sabrina Hayes, it was precisely her field of expertise.
Her acupuncture technique was put to significant use!
Without any pause, Sabrina Hayes began applying acupuncture to the special ops members, as it was a massive project, Commander Coleman specifically arranged medical assistants to help.
All of them were professional military doctors, skillful, lightening a lot of her load.
During the treatment, Sabrina Hayes kept some attention on monitoring the vehicle traffic outside.
Commander Coleman noticed.
He knew why Sabrina Hayes agreed to come for treatment, so he had been assisting from the beginning by keeping watch.
Unfortunately, the person she wanted to meet hadn’t yet appeared...
...
Meanwhile, in a corner of the courtyard square, under the care of two staffers, Zara was obediently eating snacks.
The two clearly liked the little cub very much.
Besides her delicate appearance, her cheeks puffed up like those of a little hamster while eating her snacks, so delightful it made one’s heart melt, making them want to scrape together all the nice things in the world for her.
Unfortunately, the conditions at the courtyard were limited.
In the end, they only found some snacks and various balls for her to play with.
Zara showed little interest in the balls, but her gaze was captured by a small military dog by the wall corner.
The military dog must be just two months old, wearing a personalized name tag and bell collar around its neck.
Very unafraid of people, it trotted over to Zara’s leg and wagged its tail.
With fur too fluffy, it looked a little soft and cute.
Zara’s eyes lit up, she stopped eating her snacks, and immediately stepped her short legs to chase after the puppy.
The two staffers were flooded with affection, unable to resist the thought of ’sneaking both home’ as these adorable beings enchanted them...
...
At the same time, on the second floor on the left-hand side of the courtyard.
The door of a psychological medical room was pushed open from inside, followed by a tall figure stepping out.
The man wore a shirt and a white coat, his long legs wrapped in tailored trousers looking especially ascetic, with gold-rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose softening the aloofness on his face, adding a touch of gentleness and scholarly elegance.
Nash Spencer, waiting outside, timely stepped over to accept the gloves he had just taken off, and his gaze reflexively swept behind him.
Inside was a fully enclosed psychological treatment room.
Where the eye could see, it was all darkness.
But the special ops members who had been treated and exited showed faces either calm and emotionless or visibly excited, as if caught in some peculiar state.
If ordinary people saw this, they probably wouldn’t think the treatment was complete.
But Nash Spencer knew better, his own master coming out meant these people were nearly cured.
No one dared to question this man’s abilities!
Merely standing there, he represented a type of authority, a belief evoking profound admiration!
"Master, are you tired? I have prepared coffee for you!"
Nash Spencer retracted his gaze, stepped up beside the man, and respectfully spoke.
The man walked to the window, glancing over the treatment records he had just seen, hearing this without lifting his head, merely extending a well-groomed hand with a luxurious watch.
That hand, with its distinct joints, was truly pleasing to the eye.
Nash quickly handed over the coffee.
After receiving it, the man finally closed the files.
This round of treatment had been lengthy, with all the special ops personnel fully counseled, he finally could take a break.
He handed the files over to Nash, sipped his coffee, and inadvertently glanced out the window, catching sight of the two little ones chasing each other.
He raised an eyebrow, eyes showing a trace of surprise.
Nash also saw it, scarcely believing his own eyes.
That little cub... how is she here?
"What a coincidence to encounter this?"
The man’s eyes had a subtle ripple, he lightly curled his lips and said, "It seems we are quite fated!"
