Remarried Wife: She will Remarry, But Another Person
Chapter 38: Only Special to Her
CHAPTER 38: CHAPTER 38: ONLY SPECIAL TO HER
At this moment, the little cub downstairs is still earnestly chasing the little military dog.
She clearly wants to play with the little furball.
But the little military dog is unwilling, huffing and puffing while running quickly in front.
Its four short legs almost seem to create afterimages.
The man watched with interest for a while and suddenly instructed, "Go bring her over. I think her name is... Zara."
Nash Spencer was a bit surprised, "How did you know that?"
If he remembered correctly, the previous two interactions were quite brief.
When delivering the painting, he was there too, and didn’t hear the name mentioned in their conversation.
The man’s tone was calm, "When I was painting her, I saw the tracking bracelet, which had her name and her parents’ contact number on it."
Nash Spencer suddenly understood.
His master’s powers of observation have always been remarkable, so catching such a small detail is not surprising.
He accepted the order, immediately turned around, went downstairs, and brought the person over.
Along with little Zara came the little military dog and two clerks.
The two were aware of his identity and greeted respectfully, "Mr. Fitzgerald!"
Jasper Fitzgerald nodded slightly in response, but his gaze remained on little Zara.
The little cub was initially a bit timid, but upon seeing the man’s figure, her expression radiated vibrant joy.
It’s the nice uncle who gave him a beautiful painting!
"We meet again."
Jasper Fitzgerald was the first to greet the little cub, casually set his coffee on the windowsill, and waved her over, "Come to me."
Little Zara was shy, but for some reason, she felt a natural closeness to him.
She didn’t hesitate for a second and immediately came over to him.
Nash Spencer saw this and felt a bit frustrated.
Why did he have to waste so much effort to call her downstairs?
The little girl looked at him with guarded eyes as if he were a trafficker!
He had to sweet talk just to coax her over!
Obviously, he’s so kind, and his master is so aloof.
Most people would avoid him when they see this!
While he was grumbling to himself, Jasper Fitzgerald surprisingly shifted from his usual aloofness. His brows relaxed and he spoke gently, "Do you want to play with this little furball?"
Zara nodded her little head vigorously but didn’t speak.
She expressed a very strong desire to play.
Jasper Fitzgerald’s deep eyes flashed a barely noticeable hint of amusement, "Then I’ll teach you."
After speaking, he raised his hand slightly, made a gesture to the little military dog, and said, "Come."
The little military dog, which had been like an untamed colt, suddenly seemed to receive an order and obediently moved to him, even lying down and showing its belly, acting cute and asking for pets.
Zara watched in amazement, first looking at the little dog and then at the uncle beside her.
Jasper Fitzgerald squatted down and began to teach her, "This little furball has been trained and can be a bit fierce. Chasing it won’t let you touch it, so you can first feed it something, sharing the small snacks in your pocket with it. Can you do that?"
Zara naturally had no objections, and without hesitation, took out the snacks from her pocket.
Jasper Fitzgerald opened it, passed it to her hand, "Feed it yourself, dare you?"
Zara was a little scared but her expression showed eagerness to try.
The man saw this and politely asked her, "I’ll be with you, can you give me your hand?"
Zara, of course, was willing, and immediately extended her hand.
Jasper Fitzgerald smiled softly, gently held it, and started interacting with the little furball with her.
The little military dog was evidently a foodie. Tempted by food, it immediately relaxed, started sniffing around, and once it determined it could eat, it wouldn’t stop chewing.
Zara was really happy when she saw this, her eyes barely straying away.
After finishing one hot dog, Jasper Fitzgerald said, "Now that it’s not hostile towards you anymore, you can try touching it here..."
Little Zara still didn’t quite dare and looked a bit scared.
Jasper Fitzgerald said gently, "Don’t be afraid, Uncle’s here, it won’t hurt you."
With hesitation, Zara tried to reach out a small hand but retracted it halfway.
Jasper Fitzgerald wasn’t in a rush and patiently waited for her to gather courage.
After a while, Zara finally took the first step.
She lightly stretched out a finger and poked the little military dog’s neck.
The little military dog whimpered, seemingly a bit dissatisfied.
Jasper Fitzgerald chuckled warmly, "You should gently stroke it like this, it will be more compliant with you."
As he spoke, he demonstrated for the little cub.
Hearing this, Zara immediately followed bravely.
This time, the little military dog didn’t dodge, even closing its eyes comfortably.
Zara was overjoyed and immediately looked at Jasper Fitzgerald.
Jasper Fitzgerald praised, "Well done! Now it has accepted you and you can continue interacting with it to become totally familiar."
Next, he taught her step by step, from stroking the neck, to rubbing the belly, and then to shaking hands...
After half an hour, the two little ones were completely familiar with each other.
The little military dog turned around and chased Zara, desperately trying to rub against her legs, being very affectionate.
Zara was extremely happy, playing with it on the spot.
After completing the guidance, Jasper Fitzgerald’s handsome features returned to their original aloofness, and he said calmly to Nash Spencer, "Go get my sketchbook."
Nash Spencer saw him restore his aloof demeanor like an Immortal and was almost stunned...
Seeing his master so approachable and gentle just now almost made him think he was possessed.
Only now did he realize that it wasn’t so.
He’s just special to the little cub!
Why hadn’t he noticed his master likes cute things???
Though full of thoughts, his hands didn’t falter, and he quickly fetched the sketchbook.
Jasper Fitzgerald took it and began focusing on drawing on paper.
This time, he painted the two little ones playing and romping around.
...
Meanwhile, on the first floor.
Sabrina Hayes’ treatment was progressing very smoothly.
Initially, Commander Coleman still held some doubt about her acupuncture technique.
After all, the idea of just a few needles effecting a cure was somewhat baffling.
But as time passed, the physical improvement of the special forces members was rapid, with long-standing pains vanishing without a trace, and he finally believed in her medical skills.
Elder Yates really recommended a good doctor this time!
Commander Coleman was filled with emotion, while Sabrina Hayes herself was growing anxious.
It had been one or two hours, yet the psychologist still hadn’t shown up?
Could it be...they really wouldn’t come?
Her heart was filled with an indescribable disappointment, but she could only comfort herself and stay calm.
Elder Yates had forewarned that the other party might not appear...
She couldn’t let her mindset affect the treatment now.
With that thought, Sabrina Hayes forced herself to stay spirited and continued to focus on her duties.
As time dragged on, about another hour passed, and finally, the sound of a car engine roared from outside as expected.
Sabrina Hayes instinctively turned her head, just in time to see a luxurious Rolls-Royce pass by outside.
Her spirit lifted, and she immediately paused her hands, asking Commander Coleman, "Is that them?"
Commander Coleman obviously noticed as well, his expression a bit surprised, "It’s him! Did he come early? So does that mean...the treatment is over?"
Sabrina Hayes panicked and almost immediately dashed after it.
Having waited so long and finally seeing the hope, how could she let him leave at this point?
