Chapter 898: Chapter 887 Ruthless
“Thank you!” Song Yun seemed reluctant to say much. Instead, he looked at Tang Hunshi and said, “It’s a total of five strikes. When do you plan on letting me hit you?”
“Hmph, on the brink of death and still pretending?” Tang Hunshi said arrogantly, “Mr. Coyote, it’s up to you now!”
Coyote nodded and said, “Song Yun, I heard you could defeat the Kirin?”
“Any doubts?” Song Yun smiled as he looked at Coyote.
“No doubts,” Coyote replied, “just a bit curious, that’s all.”
“If a man’s curiosity is too strong, that’s not a good thing!” Song Yun said.
“I usually like to resolve my curiosities with facts,” Coyote said, walking towards Song Yun. “Since you’re free now and I’m idle too, how about you show me the strength that can defeat the Kirin?”
As soon as he finished speaking, Coyote’s body moved as if he teleported, appearing right in front of Song Yun. He then lifted his leg to kick at Song Yun, identical to how Song Yun had previously attacked Tang Hunshi.
Unfortunately, Song Yun was not Tang Hunshi. And Coyote was not Song Yun.
Song Yun smiled slightly, thinking that Coyote’s speed was quite decent, and the power of his kick was okay too, but not quite up to the Kirin’s standard.
Song Yun just sat there on the chair, leaned his body to the side, easily avoiding Coyote’s kick, then grabbed Coyote’s leg, and with a forceful twist of his arms, tossed Coyote to the side.
Coyote’s body spun twice in the air, finally landing safely under his control. As soon as he landed, he stomped heavily on the ground with his leg.
With a bang, Coyote charged at Song Yun again, this time using his fists instead of his legs.
Coyote’s punches took a fierce style, a straight punch that was both swift and vicious. A faint sonic boom echoed in the air. Song Yun steadied himself on the chair, pushed off the ground with his leg, and slid backward at a speed comparable to Coyote’s advance. Thus, it appeared as if Song Yun was swiftly sliding backward on his chair as Coyote sprinted towards him, maintaining a distance of about three meters between them.
After sliding back about ten meters, Song Yun suddenly stomped his foot against the ground. With a loud bang, the ground cracked under Song Yun’s stomp, the cracks spreading quickly and reaching under Coyote’s feet within a breath. The sudden appearance of the cracks caught Coyote off guard, causing him to lose balance.
Yet, Coyote’s body retained its forward momentum, so even though he lost balance, he still stumbled towards Song Yun, and his punch naturally went askew due to the imbalance.
Song Yun grinned and kicked directly at Coyote.
Living up to his name, Coyote agilely dodged Song Yun’s kick, quickly regaining control of his body and aiming a side hook punch at Song Yun’s face.
Song Yun twisted his body, taking the chair with him. Using one chair leg as support, he spun 360 degrees in place, like using a compass to draw a circle. Coyote’s punch missed, and Song Yun, using the centrifugal force from the 360-degree spin, swung a big kick at Coyote’s body.
Bang.
Coyote was hit and flew out.
With a bang, he crashed into a pile of chairs not far away, breaking an unknown number of them.
Throughout, Song Yun’s butt never left the chair, just like when Ling Hu Chong faced Tian Boguang back in the day.
Coyote struggled to get up and looked at Song Yun with a serious expression, saying, “You… really have some skill.”
“Haha, of course,” Song Yun, no longer wanting to sit on the chair pretending, stood up and walked to the table earlier, looking at Tang Hunshi, “Is this your trump card? It seems a bit underwhelming.”
“Coyote, hurry up and finish him! What’s going on with you!” Tang Hunshi said coldly.
Coyote snorted coldly, saying, “I don’t need you telling me what to do.”
Tang Hunshi’s face darkened. Just as he was about to say something, he saw Coyote leisurely walking towards Song Yun, a dagger appearing in his hand from who knows when.
“I originally didn’t plan on using a weapon, as it seems like bullying, but now it seems I must,” Coyote said, licking his lips with his tongue.
“Oh? Even if you use a weapon, what difference does it make?” Song Yun looked at Coyote amusingly, “Your skills are much inferior to the Kirin’s. I thought you were some impressive master, but you’re just a fool. If you insist on challenging me, sorry, but I’ll have to get serious!”
“Come on!” Coyote bent his body slightly, looked at Song Yun, and said, “Let me show you that my name, Coyote, is not baseless!”
Bang.
Coyote’s body charged fiercely at Song Yun, his eyes suddenly turning blood-red, just like the bodyguard War God who had conjunctivitis in Baron’s case. His aura was also at least twice as strong as before.
“Wow, does everyone know this move?” Song Yun said with a surprised smile but showed no intention of dodging. Again, this guy couldn’t compare to the Kirin. Song Yun had severely injured the Kirin, so he naturally wasn’t concerned with such minor characters.
As Coyote approached Song Yun, he suddenly leaped, then, with gravitational acceleration from above, pressed down towards Song Yun, his hand raised high, the dagger in his hand slicing towards Song Yun’s neck with a chilling wind.
“Courting death.”
Song Yun stepped forward, lifting both hands, one hand pushed against Coyote, while the other hand struck at Coyote’s arm holding the dagger.
Suddenly, Song Yun saw something strange, a subtle smile appeared at the corner of Coyote’s mouth.
Not right!
Song Yun immediately reacted but couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong. Could this person have a backup move? Song Yun instantly became alert.
Bang, Song Yun’s hand successfully hit Coyote’s arm holding the dagger. Then, Song Yun saw Coyote’s arm swing outward as if due to his excessive strength or some other reason, the dagger slipped from his hand, flying to the side, and the person it was flying toward was Tang Hunshi!
