That’s when Song Xiaodong smiled and said, “Now that’s my good apprentice.”

Lu Yaobing beamed, saying, “I’ve always been Master’s good apprentice, but I’m really exhausted, I don’t want to move at all.” At that moment, a flush crept over her face, thinking of her earlier actions, she felt embarrassed even if she was bold and fond of Song Xiaodong.

Lu Yaobing held onto Song Xiaodong’s arm, looking around and said, “This is my first time visiting a bar like this.”

Song Xiaodong squinted slightly and said, “I haven’t been to one in a long time either. After I left the army, I wanted to live a normal life, but that kind of life has become more and more distant for me. Coming here now feels like a luxury.”

Lu Yaobing smiled and said, “You’re not an ordinary person, Master. Trying to live a normal life just won’t work, but I wonder how the people here would react if they knew someone as important as you was here drinking.”
