Waking up in his bed, Takumi clicks the snooze button of his clock on the nightstand. It was thirty more minutes till six, meaning he had enough time to make breakfast for everyone.

The outside world may be chaotic and filled with danger lurking, but in his small home. Everything was as peaceful as he wished it could be.

“Good Morning, Takumi.” his wife stirred awake, finding her lover moving, she pulled him back to the bed. Arms wrapped tightly like a bear.

“Good morning Tojiko.”

“Where are you going?”

“Going to make breakfast, you can go back to sleep.”

“Let me help you out.” as she tries to get up, but Takumi stops her.

"I'll handle it, you can take care of our child." Kissing her forehead, Takumi leaves the bed.

Standing up, he was almost nude, only wearing a underwear. Mahoraga was already out of her shadow with his clothes in hand, and despite the many protests, Takumi was dressed up without needing to move much.

He sighed loudly, much to the Shikigami's delight. Ever since that night, she has grown more bold each day. Tending to his needs, sometimes way too much. To the point that she and Tojiko would always clash heads.

But for a short time, she didn't respond to him. He had wondered why, Takumi would search her in his dream. That was a bad decision and now that memory is stuck with him, a choice he wishes he hadn't made.

Wearing a simple T-shirt and pants, and an apron. He quickly prepared breakfast, putting a pan on low heat, and his hand received some eggs without having to turn away.

In another pan that was brushed with butter, he whipped up some batter and then poured it into a small circle for a pancake.

His Shikigami helps him make breakfast, just setting the table and getting the ingredients for him while he cooks. She has been able to learn much more and faster, being taught to do some tasks in the house.

She does all of this without the need for him to say or give any command, Takumi feels as if she can read his mind. Because he can feel the same things from her or her emotions, rather. Right now, she is happy. Being close to him brings her joy, and doing anything that helps him brings her joy. He can tell she did not want it to end.

'But.'

The smell must have attracted his wife, because Tojiko then appeared from the top of the stairs. Once she appeared, Mahoraga disappeared like she wasn't in the room at all.

"That smelled great, Honey." She said, sharing heated kisses with Takumi or as heated as one couple could with their daughter's presence.

Megumi just stared with a blank face, no idea what her parents were doing at such a young age.

"Da-Da?" Her tiny hand tried to reach out to him.

"Yes, good morning to you too Megumi." Just a few nights ago when she spoke her first words. It was "Da-Da."

"Thanks. Take a seat, breakfast is almost done." He said and gave Megumi a kiss on her cheek before going back to the stove.

He soon brought it to the table for all three to eat. Quietly, he enjoys this moment with his wife and daughter. Grateful that he has this happy family, sitting together.

"When can she go to kindergarten?"

"She's still too young, and a kinder garden isn't suited for her."

They hadn't been able to determine if she would go to that place, Takumi was sure it would be nice to learn and have friends, but at the same time, Tojiko raised her own concern about her curse energy affecting the other kids.

When they finished the meal, the pair decided that Megumi would go when she was taught to control her curse energy. And Takumi will be the one to teach her, as far as corcery goes he'll be the most fitting. Tojiko is her combat teacher, no argument about that.

"And I want to tell you about something else." He got up, Mahoraga appeared to clean up for them.

"Is it about that whole door thingy ?"

"It's gate, but yes."

The husband and wife got up, "oh you can leave her with my Shikigami." Mahoraga appears at his mention.

The moment she shows herself, the air suddenly gains a level of thickness. Like two tigers ready to claw each other to the death.

"Stop it you two. How many times must I tell you girls?" Takumi's words cut in between them.

Reluctantly, she let the Shikigami take hold of Megumi as they left for the door. But it did not take them to the world outside.

Tojiko stepped through the blue door, which led her not to the normal street. Not even their city, she scanned around for a second, trying to decode her location.

The people walking in normal clothing, their facial expression looks asian, Japanese. The vehicle looks like an off-brand vehicle than the one she remembers.

'Morioh?' A nearby sign that has the word "Morioh City" written out. She didn't know that Japan had such a city.

And lastly was the air, she didn't quite know what to say to express her confusion but.

"There's no curse energy in the air ?" Not a single person here has any amount of curse energy. There's no way she'll be wrong, despite what her senses are telling her. Toji just finds this to be unbelievable; really, this shouldn't be possible.

"Do you trust me when I say I can go into other worlds now ?"

She turned back, Takumi had this smirk on his face that she didn't like. She must let it show on her face, or he has just gotten well enough with reading her expression.

"I saw a place we can talk, let's go there."

Sitting down, they share some drinks in silence. Takumi waited for her to take it all in, until he spoke again.

"Are you confused ?"

"Nah. I understand it now." Tojiko said with a calm nonchalant manner, "so you go places and kill people for reward."

"I think you're mistaken with your own job, Tojiko ?"

"The two are basically the same in my eyes."

Smiling awkwardly, Takumi shook his head at the simple way that his wife's mind works.

"So who are we killing in this world?"

"A stand user, hmm. You can understand it as the equivalent of curse users in our world. Her name is Yoshikage Kira." He describes what she could look like, and what her power is.

"Hmm, still, our coverage area is an entire town."

"Don't worry, she is very easy to spot." If they're early, then she would be blonde. If late, then she is a white hair. Either way, the two of them should have a lot of time to locate and form a plan-

"Like that girl?" Tojiko pointed behind Takumi.

Where a strange looking woman can be seen walking exaggeratedly. Wearing a purple vest, she has white hair with black highlights, and her neck tie is adorned with a cat as its decoration.

She stood out in the crowd, walking in between despite everyone around not caring too much.

What's more is the group chasing after her, two delinquent school girls that has a strange hair, a shorter girl and lastly. A tired looking middle age woman wearing a whitecap.
