"Okay." Leng Pan was happy to have such support.

Thus, she put away their motorcycles in the space and the two entered the forest cautiously.

As they walked, they witnessed some plants move out of the way. It was surprising and creepy at the same time.

Imagine a plant getting out of the way as if it was a human being.

What was going on in that forest anyway? Neither of them had an answer to that question. They could only walk more carefully because they weren’t sure whether all the plants that could move would give them way or try to attack them.

As they got deeper into the forest, they saw some places with plants that were healthier than others and it was obvious there was something there that promoted plant growth.

Leng Pan stopped and looked around. It was as if her husband was a worm in her stomach because he seemed to know what she wanted to do.

"Baby, do you want to find what is causing the plants to grow so well?" He asked while surveying the area they were in.

"Yeah. Something like that might come in handy in the future and as you can see, it affects a large area.

So if we can find it then it might help us in growing vegetables in large numbers instead of the few potted plants that auntie usually takes care of.

As you have seen from those memories, our fight might involve more people in the future who will depend on us for some things.

Why not prepare in advance?" Leng Pan still remembered how they had to protect a whole city of people and providing fresh vegetables and fruits for such a large population wasn’t a walk in the park.

Let’s look for whatever it is and take it back." Thus, the two of them separated and started looking around, even digging in the ground to see if there was anything suspicious.

It was the first time she had used such a pet name and it made his heart beat faster and his blood boil.

If they were in the privacy of their home, she would be on the bed by now and he would be doing things to her. Things he was starting to imagine and that was not too good because his little brother was beginning to wake up.

"Hubby?" Leng Pan called out again when Lu Zhen didn’t react.

Only then did Lu Zhen come back to his senses and hurriedly dipped his hand into his clothes and pulled out the pendant.

They were surprised to see the bright glow and it seemed to be pointing at a certain spot on the ground.

The two followed the flow and came to stop at a place where everything was covered by lush and full bushes and plants.

There were also glowing mushrooms growing under the bushes which was probably why they hadn’t spotted them earlier.

Without wasting any time, both humans got down and started digging the mushrooms out.

They were using small shovels Leng Pan had taken out of the space earlier when they started looking around.

The mushrooms looked special so she put them in a container and put them in the warehouse in the space immediately after they left the ground.

There were also a few herbs near that place usually used for blood stasis and wound healing.

They weren’t anything rare but Leng Pan was willing to bet everything she had that this particular batch was different from the others.

It must have other properties and she was going to find out when she had time.

After digging for everything they thought was useful, they continued to dig deeper and after digging for a meter down, they found a shard of crystal like the one they had found on the roof top.

The one that had ended up turning into the pendant Lu Zhen was wearing. Holding the crystal, Leng Pan could feel the water element inside her body become active.

She could also connect better with the water molecules in the atmosphere.

"Could this be another one of those seals mentioned by Zee?" Leng Pan asked her husband who took the crystal shard to examine.

"I believe so. It is exactly like mine when we found it. And this one reacts to water the same way mine reacted to fire." Lu Zhen commented and gave the shard back.

Leng Pan used her consciousness to place the crystal shard on the table in the high-tech mansion inside the space bangle.
