Lu Tao whispered dramatically as if nobody would hear him even though he was loud enough for everyone in the room to hear what he said, "Uncle’s doomed."

"You’re doomed too." Leng Pan shot him a glance, making him sit up straighter.

Ever since he saw that video of the memories stored in the meteorite from Lu Zhen and Leng Pan’s past life, he had more respect and was in awe of his sister-in-law.

He didn’t dare to joke around anymore as he was afraid that she would treat him like one of her soldiers.

The family laughed again, but beneath that laughter was an unbreakable determination to get stronger.

They all knew the truth, whether they wanted it or not, the world was changing fast. If they didn’t adapt, they would perish.

"Well, let’s not just talk, put what we have said into practice. I will go get the others while Panpan shows you what to do." Lu Zhen said before standing up and kissing his wife on the forehead then headed towards the door.

He took his heavy snow coat off the rack and put it on before opening the door and leaving.

"Alrighty, you heard the man, everyone go change into something more sports friendly then we can start." Leng Pan said before heading to her own apartment to change.

She didn’t bother with her coat as she was just crossing the corridor. Moreover, she had realized that since yesterday when she absorbed water while outside training, she wasn’t as cold as before.

It looked like absorbing freezing cold water or melting ice to absorb made her body somewhat cold resistant.

This was something she hadn’t discovered even in her previous life. Now that she thought about it, she had absorbed hot water during the first few days of her training in the bathroom.

Was it possible that it had any effect? Thinking of this, she walked to the table where a jug with drinking water and a glass were placed and decided to try her theory.

Even with just herself, she could make sure that her team never lacked water for use. However, she was now surprised that she could produce hot water.

In that case, they could save on fuel when Lu Zhen wasn’t around. They usually had Lu Zhen boil the water with his superpower but when he isn’t around, they have to use fuel.

Especially now that the extreme cold had come. Now that she thought about it, Leng Pan thought that while providing water to her teammates, she could ask them to look for huge vacuum tanks or something that could keep water hot for longer.

This way, they could save on fuel. Fuel wouldn’t just be needed during the extreme cold, they would need to cook in the future too.

Thinking of this, Leng Pan was overjoyed. Now she could produce hot water. Thinking of something else, she took another glass and willed water to come out of her palms.

Just like before, water was produced, but this time it wasn’t hot water but freezing cold water.

"Hahaha...I am on top of the world looking, down on creation and the only explanation I can find...." She started to sing an old song that was way off key and way off topic.

But Leng Pan didn’t care and was elated that she could produce both hot and cold water as well as normal water. This was such a blessing.

She skipped to the bedroom she shared with her husband and changed into sports wear.

When she went back to the other apartment, everyone else was waiting for her in the living room with Lu Tao looking at her weirdly. He had definitely heard her singing just now, but he remained silent and pretended not to have heard it.

He wondered whether his sister-in-law had gone crazy.

"Okay, we can start now. Even though you guys haven’t been working out recently, you have been eating healthy food and I don’t think that Uncle’s superpower is merely to make food taste better.

I think it has something to do with improving our health because I have noticed that my health is better. Coupled with drinking the spiritual spring water everyday, I doubt there is anyone else in this world who is healthier than our family.

The first session was light. Push-ups, sit-ups, squats, stretches. Auntie Li surprised everyone by completing double the amount Uncle Li could manage. She stood tall and smirked while he collapsed on the ground, groaning.

Uncle Li hadn’t been lying when he said she was good. Of course, she couldn’t compare to Leng Pan, but the others were left behind.

Leng Pan, however, suspected that Uncle Li had gone easy so that his wife could shine. It looked like all the men in this family doted on their wives a lot.

Lu Tao tried to fake dizziness after three push-ups, only for Leng Pan to drop a snowball on his head. "Get up you lazy bum."

He yelped, jumping to his feet, and everyone laughed so hard that tears rolled down Li Yunjia’s cheeks.

However, they were also surprised by the fact that Leng Pan could actually produce a snow ball. They had thought that she could only produce water, they hadn’t expected such a surprise.

Even Leng Pan was surprised when she realized that she had created a snow ball without thinking. It looked like after being able to produce hot and cold water, the chain locking her thoughts and potential had been removed.

Now she can produce anything related to water without even trying.

Even though it was the apocalypse and outside the world was in flames and on the brink of extinction, inside this house, warmth was the only thing that could be found.
