A slow, genuine smile spread across Davi's lips, one that never reached his eyes.

He took a deep breath, renewing his desire to kill his own father. His heart raced, and his senses sharpened.

Davi had never felt as calm as he did in that moment.

Normally, just Norman's aura was enough to make him uneasy, as if something was always suffocating him.

"I understand," Davi said, his voice calm in contrast to the chaos around them. He raised his sword. "It will be a good thing for the world when I kill you."

Norman laughed, his tone dripping with disdain.

"Empty words from a failure. You don't have what it takes to defeat me."

And with that, the true battle began.

Norman would no longer hold back; he unleashed his full power. Lightning danced violently around him as he charged forward.

His attacks were like the fury of a storm. Every strike of his axe was a thunderclap that shook the earth, every movement left behind a trail of crackling bolts.

Davi reacted with perfection. Not a single wasted motion, he managed to evade every blow. Even as his father grew faster, Davi's body instinctively kept up.

And whenever there was the slightest opening, he tried to counterattack.

The two of them clashed fiercely, their battle tearing the arena apart piece by piece. But it soon became clear which of them was stronger.

"You do like to talk a lot," Norman sneered, swinging his axe in a blur. "But when it comes to fighting, you remain a disappointment."

Once again, at the very last moment, Davi dodged by teleporting, but his breathing was already growing heavy. His body was exhausted, and he no longer had the energy to keep this up for much longer.

"What's wrong, already getting tired?" Norman mocked. "I haven't even shown you everything I can do yet."

With an arrogant gesture, the man activated his ability God's Thunder at the same time as .

The air suddenly vibrated as Norman's mana surged violently around him.

Lightning began to dance across the body of that monster, each crackle illuminating his figure with a divine yet terrifying glow. The ground around him shattered under the sheer pressure of the energy he unleashed.

The entire arena was swallowed by an artificial storm. Black clouds gathered above them, thunder roaring like ravenous beasts. Columns of electricity crashed down in rapid succession, each impact blasting the ground into fiery craters.

Then the greatest of all the bolts struck Norman himself, charging his axe with a blinding radiance.

"Now die, useless son!" he bellowed, surging forward.

He moved with absurd speed, the dark clouds around them helping to cloak his movements. His axe, wrapped in searing brilliance, came down in a devastating arc toward Davi.

The moment it struck the ground, the world seemed to split in two: a shockwave of electricity swept across the arena, yet the target was already gone.

Davi had escaped by teleporting, but it didn't seem to matter; Norman was already spinning, ready to strike again.

The colossal lightning bolts crashing across the arena began converging into the axe, making it shine with an even more unbearable intensity.

This time, as Norman swung the weapon, he released a wave of pure destruction: lightning erupted in every direction, annihilating everything around them.

There was no way Davi could simply dodge such a blow. He could only use his own powers to try to defend himself.

Still, his father gave him no time to breathe. In a relentless advance, Norman appeared again, brandishing the huge axe in another devastating arc.

Davi moved at the last instant, his body reacting with an almost instinctive precision. Instead of facing Norman's brute force head-on, he tilted his blade at a perfect angle, deflecting the axe's arc just enough for the blow to graze past him.

The impact made the air vibrate and scattered sparks as the weapons clashed, but the young man avoided taking the full weight of the onslaught. By redirecting the force of the attack, he escaped destruction without being crushed.

Davi, who didn't want to stay on the defensive, moved quickly trying to hit his father with a Fire Torrent, which he easily cut with his axe. The next instant, the boy brandished his sword using Ice Blade, opening a gash on his father's shoulder, who was caught by surprise.

But by concentrating too much on the attack, Davi left a small opening, and Norman didn't hesitate. A brutal kick hit his stomach, knocking the wind out of him and doubling his body in pain.

"I'm tired of these little tricks," Norman grumbled, bringing a hand to his wounded shoulder. Sparks of electricity flickered in his palm, and soon the lightning burned the open flesh, cauterizing the wound and stopping the bleeding.

"No matter how much you writhe... you will never defeat me," he declared with arrogance, his voice filled with contempt.

Without further ado, Norman went on the attack once more. Davi managed to escape his axe, but was hit by a lightning blast. Gradually, his movements became slower, and he could no longer properly dodge his father.

Damn... I can't take much more... Davi thought, dodging blow after blow with increasing difficulty. His body was burning, his breathing was irregular, and fatigue was consuming him. He tried to stay calm, to save his strength... but he wasn't fast enough.

Norman staggered, blood pouring from his wounds, but the insane gleam in his eyes did not fade.

The axe still gleamed with the power of the storm, and even wounded, he roared like a wild beast.

"You dare wound me, boy?! I am the storm!"

With every word, new bolts of lightning exploded in the artificial sky of the arena, as if the world itself answered his fury.

Davi did not retreat. His chest heaved, the transformation forced every muscle beyond its limit, but his determination burned stronger than ever. He charged, sword ready to pierce the heart of the man he hated most.

The strike came fast, precise. The blade's tip aimed straight at Norman's chest, but the survival instinct of that monster was terrifying.

In a single motion, he twisted his body and grabbed the blade with his bare hand, even as the steel tore through his flesh down to the bone.

Blood dripped along the sword's edge, but Norman only laughed. "You think… you can kill me, Davi?! I am eternal!!"

His hand burned with electricity, wrapping around the entire sword. The current surged through the blade, trying to rip through his son's body like a lightning strike.

Davi clenched his teeth, his muscles trembling under the discharge, but he refused to let go of the weapon.

"Eternal…?" He spat blood and smirked, his eyes blazing with feral rage. "Then I'll shatter eternity with my own hands."

With a primal roar, he yanked the sword with all his strength, tearing through his father's hand even more, and at the same time slammed a brutal knee strike into Norman's already wounded abdomen. The impact sent the man's body staggering back, blood spraying from his mouth.

The whole arena seemed to quake with the clash and, for the first time, Norman staggered as though his invincibility had begun to crumble.
