CHAPTER 1514: CHAPTER 722: WHAT DID YOU FORGET?

Cheryl Suweton, having already received the news, was waiting at the Port for Sean Knight and the others.

Seeing that Cheryl still looked somewhat haggard, although her face was full of smiles, after embracing her, Sean couldn’t help but say,

"You haven’t fully recovered yet, so don’t run around. We don’t need these formalities between us."

"But I wanted to see you as soon as possible; seeing you puts my mind at ease. You don’t know how I’ve been plagued by nightmares every night after I fall asleep..."

Hearing Cheryl’s words, Sean tenderly kissed her forehead and whispered,

"It’s okay now, I’m back, and you’ll definitely get better."

While talking, Sean transferred a bit of spiritual energy into Cheryl’s body.

Cheryl was somewhat nervous and exhausted. Her body was originally much stronger than average because of Sean and also due to her hobbies.

But the encounter on the Faroe Islands was truly terrifying, to the extent that most people would probably wet themselves on the spot and might never recover in their lifetime.

After all, who could forget seeing their comrades torn into shreds and eaten by monsters right before their eyes?

Cheryl’s ability to recover to her current state was already a testament to her nerve strength.

Cheryl had brought the car, and Elijah Hastings and the others moved their things into the car while the yacht was handed over to the Royal Family’s staff.

The group then arrived at a villa in Stockholm—though Cheryl lived in the King’s Palace, Sean was not accustomed to it. He was barely considered a "relative" of the Royal Family, but since things weren’t official, he had simply bought a villa here. Although it was unoccupied most of the time, he hired cleaners to maintain it regularly.

Upon entering the villa, Sean and his companions settled down to rest comfortably.

Cheryl fell asleep in Sean’s arms—the dark circles under her eyes indicating that the girl hadn’t had a proper sleep in some time.

Elijah and the others also found rooms to rest in. While they claimed that working over the Sea Surface wasn’t tiring, once back on land and given the rare chance to relax, they naturally didn’t look for more work to do.

Without another word, the night passed, and the next day Cheryl got up, lively and cheerful. With a radiant smile on her face—having Sean by her side, it seemed that Cheryl hadn’t suffered any nightmares, allowing her a wonderfully restful night, long overdue.

"It looks like your trip this time was quite rewarding," Cheryl initiated at the dining table. "Was it the coordinates I gave you that provided the useful information?"

"Not entirely," Sean shook his head, "but we did salvage something important from that location—a Treasure Map."

"That place was a sunken ship, right?" Cheryl was surprised by Sean’s explanation, which piqued her interest even more.

Sean smiled and proceeded to eat while recounting the adventure, purposely omitting the part about being robbed by pirates and his own underwater injury.

Even so, the whole process made Cheryl feel regretful for not having gone with them.

Cheryl’s Mobile Phone rang, she glanced at it and laughingly said to Sean,

"It’s Delton. He’s busy and couldn’t come to meet you. But he’s been praising you non-stop before."

Saying this, she answered the phone call.

Sean didn’t mention the scientist team’s venture into the Faroe Islands in search of monster bodies. He guessed Cheryl probably didn’t know about it; otherwise, she would have told him when they first met.

It’s not safe for a girl to go outside, after all.

Sean suspected that Delton must be aware of this, but since he didn’t tell him, Sean felt slightly displeased.

Cheryl picked up the phone, said a few words, and then smile handed the Mobile Phone to Sean.

Sean took the phone and Delton said,

"Sean, it’s so good that you’re back safely. I heard there was a storm recently in the area you were visiting, and I was worried about your safety."

"It’s fine, we were at the Port when the storm hit," Sean replied with a smile. "What have you been up to lately?"

"Uh... not much," Delton hesitated, "The Royal Family has been busy lately, and I’ve been assigned a fair amount of work; getting things organized has been a bit troublesome..."

Ha!

Sean laughed softly. Since the other party didn’t want to disclose anything, he decided against giving the big gift he had prepared.

Strangers have their motives. Delton had always been polite to Sean because of Cheryl, but because of national interests, if he didn’t want to talk, Sean wouldn’t try to get closer.

No need!

After some idle chatter, Sean handed the Mobile Phone back to Cheryl and began planning when to release the submarine—he had originally intended to inform Delton after launching the submarine.

A World War II submarine, although it contained nothing of significance, its worth depended on Sean’s perspective.

If Sean said it was Worth Money and placed some items inside, wouldn’t that increase its value?

Of course, this was just talk; Sean now harbored no such thoughts.

Cheryl spoke a few more words on the phone, then hung up, gleefully enjoying her food, casting occasional glances at Sean. In that moment, her world was filled with sunshine—despite the latitude being higher than that of Mohe in The North of China, the climate was comparable to that of Chauncey, her hometown in Xinjiang.

After the meal, Cheryl took Sean around In the City, the two were virtually inseparable, making up for the days they had missed.

Stockholm, known as the Northern Venice, has fourteen islands and a peninsula, offering abundant tourism resources. Coupled with its favorable climate and lack of heavy industry, the city is very clean, making for a pleasant stroll.
