CHAPTER 1530: CHAPTER 730: GOOD PEOPLE WILL EVENTUALLY BE REWARDED

Seeing the speedboat’s engine cut out, Sean Knight knew that trouble had come again.

This place was, after all, not free from danger. Although he had not seen any other speedboats or boats at the Simple Dock earlier, Sean was convinced that it would be much easier for the pirates to find a vessel to chase after him than for him to figure out a way to get these girls ashore!

Now, these girls had started to panic, with one white girl crying, while another with brown skin complained incessantly.

"If I knew it would be like this, I wouldn’t have come out! At least by not coming out, we might’ve stayed alive, but now that we are out here, On the Sea, once they catch up later, we’re all going to die..."

"Slap!" Before she could finish her sentence, a Chinese girl slapped her across the face!

Hearing this, the other girls all showed expressions of disappointment and turned to Sean again.

"I’ll make a phone call." Sean did not want to let the girls down, or, more precisely, he did not want to let the Chinese girl down.

He took out the satellite phone and called Douglas Cooper.

In reality, he could have easily pulled a Gasoline barrel out of his spatial realm, claiming it was kept under the speedboat.

But this would have been a bit too much of a stretch. After all, it was plausible to have hidden firearms and even a propeller, since he was a diver.

But stowing a Gasoline barrel underwater would insult others’ intelligence.

The speedboat once again slowly began to move, while the women looked at the weapons.

Among them, only two took firearms, while the rest, despite their desires, were reprimanded by the Chinese girl and denied.

Those who had never used guns should not add to the instability.

Although firearms were banned in China, this Chinese girl had military training and had fired guns then. She later visited a shooting club, so she was not unfamiliar with firearms.

She gripped the Gun tightly, nervously watching for the pirates coming from behind.

These unfamiliar faces appeared to have better weapons and Gear than the others.

And the two speedboats they were driving seemed newer and larger.

Could there be another pirate stronghold nearby?
