Road to becoming the wealthiest: Starting From Treasure Hunting in the Cabinets
Chapter 1534 - 732: All the Way West
CHAPTER 1534: CHAPTER 732: ALL THE WAY WEST
In the end, only three people followed Sean Knight as they departed; the other girls decided to leave on the speedboat and the yacht.
After Sean Knight gave each girl a sum of money, they couldn’t wait to rush toward the yacht.
"Boss, you don’t think they’re afraid?" Douglas Cooper asked, somewhat puzzled.
"It’s probably because they believe they’ve been rescued by now. And since most of the pirates at their base have been wiped out by us, they’re not afraid. Let’s go; we need to leave too."
The three girls that left with Sean Knight consisted of a girl from the mainland region, named Fay Doe; a Taiwan girl, named Tara Colins; and one from the Middle East, named Amani.
All three girls were kidnapped within the past month while playing in the nearby sea area. Some disappeared from hotels, others vanished from yachts, and still others were taken from sandy beaches.
It must be said, the pirates’ energy was indeed formidable!
What surprised Sean Knight was that these three girls, including what they learned from chatting with the others, disappeared in the sea territories of different countries!
So, although there were many missing girls, they were from several countries, making the investigation quite troublesome.
The laws of each country are different, and the mechanisms and methods for pursuing them differ so much that it’s unlikely for someone to connect all these abduction cases.
If there weren’t some shady figures behind this, unwilling to show themselves, it would not be possible.
Therefore, Sean Knight was not optimistic about the futures of those girls who left on their own.
But he had done what he could, so he respected the destiny of others.
A group of five people quickly reached the luxury yacht hidden in the mangroves via speedboat.
Fay Doe originally wanted to follow Sean Knight and Douglas Cooper because they were fellow nationals, which made her feel inherently more trusting.
But in her mind, she thought Sean Knight and the others would take the speedboat around a bend in the sea and then find a pier to dock and leave via land. After all, it would be more convenient, and less likely to encounter pirates.
But she had not expected them to be hiding such a large luxury yacht!
At this moment, both Fay Doe and Tara Colins silently congratulated themselves for following the right people!
Only Amani’s expression remained unchanged.
Actually, no one knew that Amani recognized Sean Knight—she hadn’t said it, but she truly knew him because Sean Knight had once operated in her country, followed then by the princess of her nation!
Amani trusted Sean Knight, however, she didn’t plan to tell him this.
In her country, some things are extremely taboo. Amani now could only hope to return home soon and silently cover up this incident.
Having boarded the yacht, they abandoned the speedboat in the mangroves.
It wasn’t long after the yacht left the mangrove forest that Sean Knight and his companions saw the other yacht.
The yacht was brightly lit, and they could see several girls on the deck arguing fiercely.
The yacht containing Sean Knight and his group only had light in the driver’s cockpit. The three girls had originally been arranged to rest in the cabin. However, the loud engine and arguing from the other yacht prompted all three girls to come up on deck.
And then they saw each other.
When the girls on the other yacht saw an even bigger and more luxurious yacht approaching, each of them widened their eyes.
When they saw the people on the deck of that yacht, their feelings became complicated.
Sean Knight and his companions did not concern themselves with the people on the other yacht; he only noticed that the number of people on it was insufficient, guessing that some girls might have left on the speedboat.
After all, it was apparent earlier that these girls did not share the same mind. Possibly, they were only unified by the force used against them while in the pirate’s den.
Once they escaped, their true thoughts became apparent.
Of course, this had nothing to do with them anymore. Sean Knight’s yacht was large and powerful, so it quickly vanished on the sea surface.
At daybreak the next day, Fay Doe and Tara Colins went up on the deck and exchanged smiles.
For nearly a month, they hadn’t had such comfortable sleep.
Every day had been spent in constant fear; they really didn’t want to remember any part of it. Recalling even a little bit made their bodies involuntarily tremble.
Soon after, a voice came from the cabin:
"Breakfast is ready!"
The two girls then realized—Amani hadn’t come out because she was helping with the cooking.
Both faces showed a touch of shame, and then they quickly headed toward the cabin.
After breakfast, Sean Knight said to the three girls:
"We’ll see it through to the end. Contact your families again, then see how they plan to come pick you up. Once you’ve made contact, we’ll wait nearby for one day. If your families haven’t arrived by then, we’ll take you to the local embassy..."
These three girls had followed him based on trust in him, so Sean Knight wouldn’t just drop them off at the pier.
Initially, the identity of the little Fatty who was killed in the off-road vehicle was suspect, and Sean Knight didn’t want to take risks.
After all, if they made a mistake, it could likely cost the girls their lives.
The three girls immediately took their phones to contact their families.
After a brief reprieve, their most desired wish was to return to the side of their families.
"Boss, the haul has been counted," Douglas Cooper said, coming over now. "Just the property deeds for the mansions around the world found in the second layer alone amount to over a dozen. I don’t know why the pirate boss didn’t enjoy life in those places, rather than staying holed up here."
