CHAPTER 13: CHAPTER 13: SHE SLEEPWALKED INTO HIS BED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!

In the second half of the night.

Summer Nolan was terribly thirsty, groggily climbed out of bed, didn’t turn on the light, walked barefoot, still wearing last night’s dress, closed her eyes and walked to the fridge in the open kitchen.

Opening it, she took out a bottle of mineral water, twisted it open and drank half of it.

She was so familiar with this place that she could find everything with her eyes closed.

The aftereffects of the red wine were strong; she was still in a foggy drunken state, feeling like she was on a roller coaster.

After drinking the water, she groggily walked to the master bedroom door, pushed it open, and walked in—

Elias Spencer, lying in the big bed, was startled awake by the noise, sat up immediately, and looked at the wobbly woman pushing the door and coming towards him—

With a face full of astonishment!!!

What was she doing here?

First, she seduced him to sleep with her, and now she was here again?

Who knew who was taking advantage of whom!

Summer still didn’t realize she had entered the wrong room, only reflexively ran to the master bedroom, went to the bed, lifted the quilt, and burrowed in.

She even kicked him once and murmured, "Move over a bit..."

The next moment, her hand landed on his abdomen, moving restlessly. Elias’s cool face blushed slightly as he grabbed her hand.

In a low and husky voice, he called to her, "Go back to your side room."

"No... don’t be so stingy..."

Summer murmured, wrapping her arms tightly around his firm waist, kneading and squeezing it. It felt so good, she just loved it.

In their past relationship, she loved touching his abs, hugging his firm waist, teasing him, watching this aloof and abstinent man gradually lose control.

Did she know what she was doing?

Elias looked down at her still-intoxicated form, sat there for a while, then let go of her hand, grabbed a cigarette from the bedside table, and got out of bed.

He went to the next room—

The next morning.

Summer felt something wet licking her face, sticky and gooey.

"Woof..." Elias stood by the bed, wagging his fluffy big tail, and barked at her once.

She woke up, squirmed in the soft and cool fragrant big bed, slowly opened her eyes, and looked around. Her blank mind suddenly had a big exclamation mark!

This room was Elias Spencer’s bedroom?

"How am I sleeping on his bed?"

Summer ran her hands through her messy long hair, with no memory at all, "What happened between us last night?"

She quickly looked down at her body; she was still wearing last night’s dress, and the smell of alcohol covered her, seemingly indicating nothing happened between them.

But then, how did she end up on his bed?

Did he sleep here last night too?

Summer patted Elias’s head, got out of bed, and without any slippers nearby, walked out barefoot.

At this moment, Elias was leisurely sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, reading a newspaper. He wore neat black suit pants and a white shirt, three buttons at the collar undone, slightly revealing a muscular and sexy chest.

His frameless glasses made his face look even more distinguished.

The shirt sleeves were meticulously rolled up to the middle of his forearms.

Revealing strong and powerful wrists and a low-key luxurious wristwatch.

The metal watchband reflected a cold light, forming a cool yet alluring contradictory charm with his focused expression.

Summer leaned against the wall, arms crossed, silently watching him for several seconds. Rather than watching, it was more like being captivated—

This man’s appearance and aura were etched deeply into her heart.

When he wasn’t speaking, he was truly pleasing to the eye—

"Why did I sleep in the master bedroom last night?" she suddenly asked with a very calm tone.

Only now did Elias notice her, and he replied calmly, "You came over in the middle of the night on your own."

I went to his bed in the middle of the night?

Oh no... Summer felt like she was completely embarrassed! This was her ex-boyfriend!

How could she just foolishly climb into his bed?

"Ahem... where did you sleep?" She pushed her long hair back to cover her awkwardness.

"The side room."

Summer believed him because all her clothes were still on.

"There’s breakfast on the table," Elias glanced at her and added.

In the morning, a servant came to prepare breakfast. At noon, the servant would come to feed the dog. When he was home, the servant would also come to cook.

"I’ll borrow your bathroom to take a shower. Oh, and have someone send me a set of clothes," she said as she walked towards the master bedroom, as only there had toiletries.

This was the first time she spent the night at his house after their breakup.

"Making yourself at home here?" Elias frowned as he saw her commanding him so skillfully.

"Who told you to bring me in last night? Did you get my permission?"

Summer pouted and went into the master bedroom, pulling out a white shirt from his wardrobe. She looked again and saw there were no clothes belonging to Iris Lynn?

Were they really a couple?

She lightly patted her forehead, wondering why she was curious about this? What did it have to do with her? She furrowed her delicate eyebrows and walked to the bathroom—

Half an hour later, downstairs of the apartment building.

Iris Lynn, carrying two exquisite clothing bags, got out of the car, looking up to the twentieth floor. It was her first time delivering women’s clothes to Attorney Spencer’s house.

Hmph, who on earth was that woman?!

Who did he bring home last night?

Unable to suppress her anger, was he dating someone or was it a one-night stand?

Just as she was about to enter the lobby, someone called her from behind, "What brings Assistant Lynn here?"

Iris turned around to see Attorney Rivers, Attorney Spencer’s best friend, and respectfully replied, "Attorney Spencer asked me to bring clothes over, good morning, Attorney Rivers."

"What clothes, dry-cleaned?" Julian Rivers walked over, raising an eyebrow to ask.

"No, Attorney Spencer asked me to bring a set of women’s clothes over," she replied.

"He asked you to bring women’s clothes?" Julian Rivers was so surprised his eyes almost popped out. That man never had a woman around him.

Could it be that he suddenly brought a woman home for the night?

He had to see who that woman was! He abruptly reached out his hand, "Give me the bags then, I’m going to see that man anyway."

Originally, he wanted to invite Summer to play badminton, but since her phone was off, and he was a bit bored at home, he came to find his buddy instead.

Iris frowned, unwilling to give them to him, but couldn’t find a reason to refuse, so she handed over the bags. However, as long as she waited here, perhaps Attorney Spencer would bring that woman down.

Julian Rivers took the bags and went into the apartment building.

At this moment, Summer had just finished eating, with long straight hair flowing down, curling her fair long legs on the sofa, while petting the dog’s head sitting under the sofa, she said:

"Today I have time, let’s come up with a new name for you, how about... Lucky? Fortune? Wealthy? Seems a bit tacky, don’t rush, I’ll think about it..."

She was stroking her chin with one hand, struggling to think of a new name for the dog.

Beside her, Elias glanced at her and reminded in a deep voice, "Don’t change my dog’s name randomly."
