CHAPTER 180: CHAPTER 180: TRYING TO PLAY TRICKS ON ME? YOU’RE STILL TOO GREEN...

Raymond Dawson raised his hand to rub his dizzy head and forced himself awake. When he saw Summer Nolan finally arrived, he cursed under his breath.

This woman is really cunning, arriving this late!

"Go and get Summer Nolan drunk..." he whispered.

"She probably won’t bother talking to me, right?" Iris Lynn scoffed quietly.

"Then use your brain a bit."

Raymond Dawson glanced at Elias Spencer sitting not far away, seeing him with eyes half-closed, leaning on the sofa, assuming he had been drunk by himself and those employees.

Now it’s just a matter of dealing with Summer Nolan.

Iris Lynn had to stand up, holding a glass as she walked toward Summer Nolan, "Attorney Nolan, I’d like to toast to you. I hope we can erase the unpleasantness between us and get along well in the future."

Summer Nolan looked at her carelessly, does she want to get me drunk? Is she even qualified?

"Didn’t you say in the work chat that you would drink three glasses in front of me as a penalty? Come, drink the penalty shots first, then toast to me."

As she spoke, she picked up the whiskey bottle and filled Iris’s glass to the brim.

Iris Lynn looked at the big glass of liquor, her brows furrowed; if she finishes these three big glasses, won’t she be the first to get drunk?

"Attorney Nolan, my tolerance isn’t good; you’ve poured too much. Anyone who didn’t know would think you’re deliberately bullying a subordinate." Iris said with a forced smile.

"You have no sincerity in your apology, so what’s the use of saying all this to me? Get lost." Summer Nolan dismissed impatiently.

Iris’s face looked a bit ugly, conflicted—

Stella Grant couldn’t help but look at Summer Nolan’s side, seeing her talk to employees like that and deliberately making them drink so much. It was kind of displeasing, so she shook the arm of the man next to her and asked:

"Elias, is that Attorney Nolan from your firm always so sharp-tongued? Pouring that much alcohol for a colleague is one thing, but speaking in such a nasty tone is really a bit annoying."

Elias Spencer slowly opened his eyes upon hearing her, his voice cold and sober: "You’re not qualified to talk about people from my law firm, be mindful of your role."

Stella Grant froze at his sudden cold tone, afraid of being disliked, and dared not speak further.

After a hesitant moment, Iris picked up her glass, gritted her teeth, and, to get Summer Nolan drunk, downed one full glass of alcohol.

"Two more to go." Summer Nolan lazily leaned against the sofa back, crossing her legs as she watched.

As Iris picked up the bottle intending to pour only half a glass, Summer Nolan suddenly said, "Half a glass? I don’t accept apologies that way."

Iris glared at her with raised eyebrows, reluctantly filled the glass, and downed another two big glasses in succession.

The strength of this liquor was a bit high, and the effect was strong, making her sway unsteadily on her feet—

Struggling against the dizziness, she picked up the bottle, grabbed another glass, and poured half a glass to hand over, but suddenly let it drop onto Summer’s white tracksuit.

"Sorry, Attorney Nolan, I didn’t mean it, I’ve had too much, and didn’t see clearly. I thought you had taken the glass." She quickly apologized.

"Forget it... I’ll go wipe it myself." Knowing it was intentional, Summer Nolan got up and walked out of the private room.

Once Summer left, Iris rushed to turn off the main light in the room, which instantly darkened. She looked around to see that no one was paying attention to her.

She deliberately glanced at Elias Spencer, seeing his head resting on the sofa back, assumed he was still asleep, and hurriedly pulled out the powder from her pocket to secretly pour it into Summer’s glass.

And topped it off with alcohol.

Elias Spencer wasn’t asleep, observing Iris’ sneaky actions—

Summer Nolan noticed the room lights dimming as soon as she reached the door, knowing her drink was problematic, she paused for a moment, took out her phone to send a message to her assistant, then opened the door and called Iris:

"Assistant Lynn, step out for a moment, I have something to ask you."

Iris frowned, wondering what she wanted to ask privately? Did she discover I drugged her drink earlier?

Concealing her inner tension, she stood up, walked to the door, calmly faced her, "What does Attorney Nolan want to ask?"

"How old are you now?" Summer asked.

"...23, why are you asking me this, Attorney Nolan?" Iris asked puzzled, is this woman so idle? Asking my age for no reason?

"You’re not a kid anymore. You should seriously consider finding a boyfriend rather than always thinking of shortcuts to wealthy men." Summer sneered, giving her a glance, and then peered into the private room.

"I’m serious about liking Attorney Spencer!" Iris said earnestly.

"Too bad, you stand no chance. He’d rather go on blind dates than spare you a second glance." Summer patted her face with a smile.

Iris irritably swatted her hand away with a sneer, "That’s my business, not yours, Attorney Nolan."

After speaking, turned and returned to the room, grabbed two glasses, and handed one to Summer:

"Attorney Nolan, let this glass be my apology to you. I hope you won’t hold it against me, I just want to work well in the office, not oppose you."

Summer took the glass from her hand and glanced at her, "You first."

Iris glanced at her and readily drank the glass of wine! Then deliberately tilted the empty glass downward to show her—

Summer also drank her glass, then told her, "Your makeup is smudged, looks terrible."

She subconsciously touched her face, is her makeup really smudged?

Iris put down the glass and went to the restroom.

Summer glanced at her, chuckled slightly, then fetched two more glasses, discreetly added a packet of ’seasoning,’ and refilled with booze.

Stella Grant suddenly noticed her actions and was about to speak up when Elias Spencer suddenly replied coldly, "Don’t meddle."

She turned to the man beside her, "Did you also see that? I didn’t expect that the reputed Attorney Nolan would do such shady things behind the scenes.

She’s definitely scheming against her colleagues; why are you turning a blind eye?"

"Perhaps I shouldn’t have brought you here tonight, Miss Grant should be smarter, I despise dumb people." Elias Spencer looked down at her, disgusted by her ignorance which was getting on his nerves.

Knowing he saw too and didn’t comment, how could she, a non-employee outsider, want to meddle?

This woman is indeed dumb!

Hearing his words, Stella furrowed her brows tightly and quickly clung to his arm apologetically:

"I’m sorry, Elias, I was wrong, I shouldn’t have interfered in your firm’s affairs, please don’t be mad, I’ll pretend to have seen nothing!"

She was curious why the man wouldn’t expose Summer Nolan?

Elias looked at her coldly without a word.

Across from him, Summer rose with two drinks in hand, went to Raymond Dawson’s side, and shook him awake from his genuine sleep,

"Director Dawson, I haven’t yet had a drink with you tonight, let me toast to you?"

Stella’s eyes widened watching her, the spiked drink is for Director Dawson? This woman is too wicked!

Should I expose her?
