Chapter 183: Infamous, Both Wishing They Were Dead!
CHAPTER 183: CHAPTER 183: INFAMOUS, BOTH WISHING THEY WERE DEAD!
With nothing around Iris Lynn to cover herself, the blanket and pillow were all thrown to the ground by this damn old man. She could only hurriedly sit up, curl up her body, and put her hands in front of her.
The reporters watched the scene, each getting an eyeful. This is too explosive!
"That old man doesn’t look like a male celebrity from the entertainment circle?" a reporter asked.
"Who is he?"
"He’s Raymond Dawson, the boss of Trisight Law Firm! Isn’t he in his fifties? His son is already in his twenties, and he’s still hooking up with women here in a hotel room?"
"Who is that woman?" another reporter asked.
"Don’t know, probably some club girl!"
"This kind of person must be exposed. What a scumbag, he’s been a lawyer for decades, and now he’s just another beast in a suit!
He talks about law and morality every day, but behind the scenes, he is this kind of person!" A reporter said as they vigorously snapped photos of the two on the bed.
Although he isn’t a celebrity, at least it wasn’t a wasted trip. Just with these explosive images, it could sell big.
"..."
Iris Lynn felt her face darken and was embarrassed at the reporters’ remarks; you all are the club girls! It’s all the fault of this old bastard, they originally had a chance to leave this room...
"These reporters must have been called by that bitch Summer Nolan!" she bit her teeth.
Raymond Dawson was dumbfounded when he heard her. These reporters were called by Summer? Why would she do this to me?
Forcing himself to be calm, he hastily picked up a pillow from the ground to cover himself, angrily shouting at them, "You all get out of here now! Do you know what crime trespassing is?"
"Director Dawson, who’s this woman you’re with? Do your wife and kids know?"
"Director Dawson, what’s the relationship between you and this woman?"
"I think I’ve seen this woman before. She appears to be Attorney Spencer’s assistant! I interviewed Attorney Spencer before, and this woman was standing next to him," a reporter suddenly said.
All the reporters were shocked. This old man is messing around with Attorney Spencer’s assistant?
Raymond Dawson and Iris Lynn’s faces became even more embarrassed upon hearing their chatter... They couldn’t drive them away, so they could only let them snap as much as they want.
"Hurry up and call someone to kick them out, how much longer do we have to be photographed?" Iris Lynn yelled angrily at him.
Raymond Dawson didn’t have a bodyguard; he reached for the phone on the bedside table and dialed his assistant, but no one answered after a long ring.
Helpless, he could only dial 110...
-
Summer Nolan watched the surveillance of their room and chuckled unkindly. Soon, the footage of the two in the hotel room was streamed online.
The images were so explosive that within an hour, the hits were in the millions. This buzz was no less than Sean Sterling’s!
By morning, the employees in the law firm all saw the video and were shocked to learn Iris Lynn had climbed into Director Dawson’s bed so quickly?
And she had the nerve to say there was something between Attorney Nolan and Attorney Spencer?
Isn’t she the one who’s irresponsible?
Ian Sterling saw the news too. He called Summer Nolan and, upon connecting, asked in shock, "Did you see today’s news? Director Dawson actually... got a hotel room with Elias Spencer’s assistant!"
Summer Nolan smiled and feigned surprise, "I just saw it too. I really didn’t expect the two of them to get involved together."
"I always thought Director Dawson was upright; how could he mess around with a subordinate..."
When Ian Sterling was courting Summer, Director Dawson spoke on his behalf many times and was always polite to him, leaving a good impression on Ian.
Wealthy men fooling around with women isn’t uncommon in society, but how did he get discovered by the media, and then exposed?
His reputation now is completely ruined.
"I didn’t expect it either," Summer Nolan concurred.
"By the way, are you at home now? I’ll come over," Ian Sterling asked.
"I’m at the hospital taking care of Vivian," she said.
"What happened to your sister?" He asked with unconscious concern.
"She encountered some bad people outside the night before and got injured. She needs to recover in the hospital for a while."
As Summer Nolan spoke, she pushed the door into the ward; her sister didn’t want their mother to know, so she could only care for her here herself.
"...send me the ward number, I’ll come to see her." Ian said and hung up.
Vivian Nolan heard her sister discussing her situation and asked, "Sis, who are you talking to on the phone?"
"Ian Sterling." Summer sent the ward number to his WeChat, assuming that man was visiting her sister just to save face for her.
Little did she know he had an unusual connection with her sister?
"Oh, don’t tell him about me in the future. I don’t like this brother-in-law. You being with him is your own business," Vivian Nolan said to her.
"Why don’t you like him?"
"No reason, just don’t." she said.
Summer didn’t explain. She herself probably wouldn’t marry Ian Sterling. Her sister would learn his identity eventually.
Half an hour later, Ian arrived at the ward with fruits. As he entered, he saw Vivian with a white bandage on her head and her right arm in a cast hanging from her neck.
It seemed she was pretty badly hurt.
Must be trouble brought by her hooligan friends, right?
"..." Vivian, munching on an apple, frowned when she suddenly saw him, her older sister talking on the phone outside. She coldly asked, "What’re you doing here?"
"You’re my girlfriend’s sister, here to see what’s wrong with you? Why so angry?" Ian said in a deep voice, placing a bag of imported fruits on the coffee table.
With one hand in his pocket, he walked to the hospital bed, frowning at her injuries, "Last time I told you to stay away from those hooligan friends, you didn’t listen. Learned your lesson now?"
"What’s it got to do with you?" Vivian coldly glanced at him, wanting to keep her distance.
"I’m your sister’s boyfriend. I might soon be your brother-in-law. I have the right to manage you," Ian stated firmly.
She couldn’t help but smile, "Are you so sure you can marry my sister? You’re just her boyfriend now; mind your own business and leave. I don’t want to see you."
Ian looked at this woman, feeling a bit helpless. Why is she acting like she’s wired up? He came in good faith to see her.
Outside the ward, Summer Nolan heard their conversation. They indeed knew each other early on... Does her sister really know a group of hooligan friends?
Why does she hate this man?
"Creak—" She pushed open the ward door, calling out to him, "Ian Sterling, come out for a bit."
Did she hear what they were talking about?
Ian’s reflexively felt guilty, glanced at the woman on the bed, relieved they hadn’t mentioned that night, and walked out.
Summer took him a bit further away before asking, "When did you meet my sister? How did you meet?"
