CHAPTER 69: CHAPTER 69: I’M FEELING GOOD—HOW ABOUT YOU?

Ian Sterling picked up a fresh wine glass and poured her a drink, "Don’t worry too much, they just like to joke around."

"Just drinking is boring, why don’t we play Truth or Dare?" Someone wanted to take the opportunity to matchmake the two of them, grabbing an empty bottle and waving it around.

The others immediately understood the intention and chimed in.

Summer Nolan had no choice but to join.

This group seemed to have intentionally ’targeted’ her, constantly pointing the bottle at her and asking, "Attorney Nolan, how many times have you been in love?"

She had to answer, "...Once."

Ian Sterling couldn’t help but look at her, feeling a bit lost inside, realizing he wasn’t her first love. However, he wasn’t old-fashioned either.

He could accept that she had been in love before.

But who was her ex-boyfriend?

The next round, the bottle pointed at her again! These second generation rich kids who often played this game were quite adept, and asked,

"Who is that man? How long since you broke up?"

"Sorry, it’s inconvenient to disclose." Summer Nolan picked up her glass and drank three cups at once. They had agreed before playing that refusal meant she had to drink three cups.

Seeing her rather drink than say, Ian Sterling became even more curious about who her ex-boyfriend was... He must have been excellent, right?

Did she still love that man?

Another round came, and the bottle spun like a worm in Ian Sterling’s stomach as it helped ask him, "Attorney Nolan, do you still love your ex?"

Summer Nolan realized these people were deliberately trying to please Ian Sterling, to help him understand her, "...No."

Hearing her words, Ian Sterling’s heart settled down, with hidden joy on his usually calm face.

Another round, the man spinning the bottle smirked, "How about Attorney Nolan gives Young Master Sterling a kiss this time?!"

Others started to jeer, "Kiss! Kiss..."

"A friendship kiss is also common; besides, Attorney Nolan is formidable in court, wouldn’t she be timid about this?"

"Attorney Nolan surely isn’t someone who can’t handle a game." Someone deliberately echoed, goading her.

Summer Nolan glanced at the group of deliberately provoking people, feeling somewhat displeased—

Even though Ian Sterling really wanted her to kiss him, he was afraid she’d get angry, so he quickly said, "Don’t tease, I’ll drink three cups for her this round."

Just as he was about to grab the wine glass, Summer Nolan picked up her own glass and lightly smiled, "No need, I’ll drink myself."

She quite wanted to leave, but she had only been sitting here for about ten minutes. Leaving now would make her seem petty.

After staying for another half hour, Summer Nolan found an excuse to leave. She called a driving service beforehand and didn’t let Ian Sterling drive her.

Returning to her apartment.

Summer Nolan reheated leftover food in the microwave and took it to the master bedroom.

Elias Spencer smelled the alcohol on her, gave her a cold glance, retracted his gaze, and turned away without speaking.

Hmph, had your fun?

This time, what did you do with Ian Sterling?

"Dinner’s ready." Summer Nolan placed the food on the bedside table and called him.

"How am I supposed to eat lying down?" he intentionally asked in a cold voice.

"I’ll feed you then. Open up." Summer Nolan kindly picked a shrimp and brought it to his mouth, but the man still turned his face away coldly.

"If you don’t eat, you’ll just have to starve," she said, looking at the man.

Elias Spencer ignored her; both his wrists were red. He had struggled at home for a long time without breaking free; this damn woman had tied him up securely.

Seeing he wouldn’t eat, Summer Nolan placed the food on the nearby table, then lay on his chest, curling her lips, "If you want me to untie you, just ask?"

"Don’t touch me. Go find Ian Sterling. Why are you still staying with me?" Elias Spencer commanded in a deep voice. He had never begged anyone before.

Not going to teach her a lesson?

That’s impossible!

"You think you can stop me? I’m touching you anyway."

Having drunk, Summer Nolan was more rebellious, purposely slipping her hand under the quilt, touching his chest muscles, abs, and then his handsome face.

Elias Spencer’s face turned ashen, and he shifted his face to the other side, clearly not wanting her to touch him.

Summer Nolan raised her eyebrows and insisted on holding his face, forcefully kissing his thin lips—now he was just like a fish tied on her chopping board, how could he have any choice?

After biting his lips, the man’s pain made him relax his tightly closed mouth. She wasn’t very skilled at kissing, just biting him messily.

Elias Spencer wanted to turn his face away but was tightly held by the woman, his body gathering a powerful strength, eager to teach her a lesson.

Yet, being bound hand and foot, he felt a sense of helplessness...

Woman, you’re really something!

Summer Nolan moved away from his lips, pinched his chin, looked at his dark, angry face, and laughed mischievously—

"I’m feeling good; how about you?" she asked deliberately.

How did he feel?

Elias Spencer secretly gritted his teeth, glaring at her like an ice pick, wishing he could bore holes into her with his gaze.

"You look like death... Don’t stare at me like that, it makes me feel uneasy." Summer Nolan lightly tapped his forehead.

"Let me go," he said in a deep voice again.

"Unless you ask me, just forget it. Are you really not going to eat dinner?" she asked one last time, considering that she had asked him twice already. Couldn’t he lower his proud head a little?

Seeing him unresponsive, Summer Nolan had no choice but to take the food out and even turned off the light in his bedroom, not planning to return in tonight.

She took a shower in the guest room and slept there.

She slept until late morning the next day. The sun was shining brightly outside, another hot day.

Summer Nolan got up and ordered takeout. She hadn’t had McDonald’s chicken wings and egg tarts in a long time, so she ordered a deluxe set.

After washing up, she went to the master bedroom. Elias Spencer’s gaze coldly fixed on her... Hmph, only waking up now.

His stomach rumbled uncontrollably: "Gurgle—"

"Hungry?" She laughed, sitting beside him, lifting the quilt off him, and helped massage his stomach for digestion.

"Are you done playing?" Elias Spencer asked in a deep voice.

"That depends on you. You ask me nicely, and I’ll untie you immediately." Summer Nolan pinched his chin.

Once more, he turned his eyes away, moving his face aside, not planning to beg her. He didn’t believe she would keep him bound forever!

"Still stubborn..." she pouted and hummed.

"It’s a bit boring, what should we play?"

"Whipping with wax?"

"You probably haven’t played this either, right? Want to try?" Summer Nolan lay on his chest, her fingertips drawing circles, and asked with a smile.

This is such a rare opportunity; she must teach him a lesson to vent her anger.

"You wouldn’t dare!" Elias Spencer frowned. Who would want to play such a perverted thing with her? Where did she learn these bad things?

So in need of a beating, once he was free, he’d see how to deal with her!

"You always like provoking me..."

But she was just that contrary rebel. Summer Nolan snorted coldly, prodding his temple before immediately getting out of bed, rummaging through the bathroom cabinet.

When she used to live here, she liked to use aromatherapy and ambient candles during baths. Were there any left?

Indeed, there were!

Using his lighter, she lit them, sat down beside him, and smiled at him, asking again, "Still don’t want to ask me?"
