Chapter 70: Summer Nolan, If You’ve Got Guts, Don’t Hide!
CHAPTER 70: CHAPTER 70: SUMMER NOLAN, IF YOU’VE GOT GUTS, DON’T HIDE!
Elias Spencer looked at the object in the woman’s hand, dumbfounded. He never thought that one day, this candle would be used on himself—
Seeing him silent, Summer Nolan tilted the pink thick candle in her hand slightly, and a drop of wax suddenly dripped onto his chest. The man frowned and grunted:
"Ugh... Summer!"
"It’s your own fault for not begging me. You’ve been bullying me all the time, so why can’t I bully you a bit? Is there anything wrong with that?" She pouted and hummed.
Just as she was about to play again, the doorbell suddenly rang: Ding-dong—
"Is the delivery here so quickly?" She had to put down the candle and get out of bed.
Walking to the door, without checking through the peephole, she directly opened the door and was surprised to see Julian Rivers standing outside—
"Why is Attorney Nolan here? Where’s Young Master Spencer?" He glanced inside and asked. These two are always so clingy; haven’t they really reconciled?
"Ahem... he’s still in bed. Do you need him for something?" Summer Nolan cleared her throat and asked.
"I came to hang out with him. Why is he still in bed? Did you two sleep together?" Julian Rivers raised an eyebrow and asked.
"He’s just feeling unwell, don’t overthink. He can’t play today, you should head back." She dismissed the man.
"Since I’m already here, I might as well go in and check on him." He said, ready to enter, but was suddenly blocked by Summer Nolan’s hand,
"He’s not wearing clothes, it’s inconvenient."
The man isn’t wearing clothes? I have to go in and see for myself! Julian Rivers’s curiosity was even more piqued.
They definitely slept together!
Why else would he be naked in the morning?
"I’m a guy too. It’s no big deal even if I see him."
He said this and suddenly slipped under her arm when she wasn’t paying attention, headed straight for the man’s bedroom when he saw no one in the living room.
When he reached the door, seeing his buddy tied up spread-eagle on the bed, seemingly with nothing on, his expression froze!
His eyes widened like lanterns.
His mouth opened, unable to say a word for a long time.
OMG! This scene is too explosive!
"..." Being seen like this by his buddy, Elias Spencer’s face turned even darker with embarrassment, his reputation utterly ruined.
In the future, this will definitely be a regular laughing stock for his buddy—
"Pff... I didn’t expect you and Summer to play such thrilling games, sorry for intruding, I shouldn’t have come in... you guys carry on!"
Julian Rivers blushed, apologetically said, preparing to leave, but Elias Spencer immediately called out coldly:
"Don’t go, come over and untie me."
"Why should I untie you?" Julian Rivers asked with a smile.
"Come over quickly, stop dawdling." Elias Spencer was annoyed and urged him.
Summer Nolan came over to dismiss him, "You don’t need to untie him, I’ll handle it. You should leave, stop interrupting our game."
"She tied me up maliciously, hurry over and untie me," His tone deepened.
Julian Rivers was surprised to hear this from his buddy, looking at Summer Nolan... She tied him up maliciously? Seriously?
Is she that bold?
Why would she tie Young Master Spencer like this?
Trying to force him?!
"This is between Elias and me, it’s none of your business, you’d better leave quickly." Summer Nolan, annoyed, dismissed him.
The man hasn’t even begged me yet.
"But he’s my friend, I can’t just walk away and do nothing, can I?" Julian Rivers awkwardly smiled, then went inside and immediately started untying his buddy’s hands and feet.
Summer Nolan, annoyed at this nosy person named Julian.
If only she had checked through the peephole before opening the door, but it was too late to regret once opened.
She swallowed nervously, turned around to grab her things, and slipped away faster than a rabbit!
If she didn’t leave now, was she going to wait for that man to tie her up?
"Summer, if you have the guts, don’t run!" Elias Spencer’s deep voice called after her.
"Attorney Spencer, I was just playing a joke on you, don’t be so petty!" Summer Nolan smiled at him at the door, said, and quickly shut the door and ran off.
Joke? How about I play the same ’joke’ on her?
Elias Spencer’s face was sullen, it was the first time in his life being bound and tormented by a woman—
Julian Rivers struggled to untie all of his buddy’s ropes.
Suddenly seeing the wax on his buddy’s chest and the candle still burning on the nightstand, he couldn’t help laughing again:
"Wow... Attorney Nolan sure has some tricks, playing such thrilling games with you!"
"By the way, did she actually force herself on you?"
Elias Spencer, with a calm demeanor, didn’t answer his question, only coldly said, "Get out, I’m getting dressed."
"Go ahead, I’m not a woman, what’s there to see?" Julian Rivers stood by the bed with arms crossed, refusing to leave.
Elias Spencer shot a vexed look, only then did he reluctantly exit—
Ten minutes later, the man finished washing up and walked out in a dapper black suit, just in time as the delivery arrived, he was starving.
He first ate the luxurious meal she ordered.
No rush, I know where she lives, and since we work together, she can’t escape!
-
More than an hour later, Elias Spencer drove directly to her house, but her mother said she wasn’t there.
She hasn’t returned?
He then went to her newly purchased house, the door was open, and there were renovation people inside, but she was nowhere in sight!
Elias Spencer gritted his teeth, where could she be hiding?
A hotel?
He called his bodyguards, asking them to search the city’s hotels, she couldn’t just vanish into thin air, right?
If she dares, let her continue hiding—
Summer Nolan, at this moment, was hiding at her male best friend’s house, sitting cross-legged on the couch, leisurely eating chips and watching TV, confident the man couldn’t find her.
"You mean you stripped down and tied up Elias Spencer to bully him?" Miles Monroe chuckled, imagining the scene, feeling awkward already.
It’s no wonder the man would be pissed.
"Impressive, right?" She said with a smug smile, boasting about her triumphant feat.
"So what exactly did you do to him?" The man asked sensationally.
"Well, of course, whatever he forbid me to do, I just had to do it, to piss him off. It felt great tormenting him!" Summer Nolan laughed.
He often annoys me, this time I finally got my revenge.
"Be excited now, just be careful when he gets back at you..." Miles Monroe tapped her forehead.
"Well, I’ll just stay here for now."
Being excited about bullying the man, she was also worried he’d come to ’get back’ at her, feeling a bit on edge.
"You can hide this time, but not forever. You two still have to meet at work on Monday, right?" he said.
"During work, he wouldn’t dare do anything to me. After work, I’ll just run faster, problem solved," Summer assured herself.
Miles Monroe turned to look at her, hoping she could run fast.
"Come on, let’s go out to eat, something nice to calm the nerves." She kicked his foot, saying she was starving, having not eaten breakfast.
"Aren’t you afraid of running into him outside?" Miles Monroe raised an eyebrow and asked.
