Chapter 83: Renowned Attorney Spencer Is Acting Like a Green Tea Again...
CHAPTER 83: CHAPTER 83: RENOWNED ATTORNEY SPENCER IS ACTING LIKE A GREEN TEA AGAIN...
Summer Nolan heard his three denials and couldn’t help but tug at her lips. Could he be any more overbearing?
"You’re crazy; I can’t be bothered with you. Let go." She struggled to free her hands, but the man’s long arms were like chains, holding her tightly.
"Were you not satisfied last night, so you had to sneak off to secretly meet him again today, hmm?" he asked coldly, his hand slipping back into her black skirt.
Again?
"Ugh..." Summer panted, gritting her teeth, and immediately tightened her legs, nervously watching the conference room door. "No!"
"When you swore, did I not warn you not to lie to me?" Elias Spencer asked her coldly.
Summer’s back was pressed against his chest, her head forced to rest on his shoulder. The position was too improper.
The tear in her black stockings felt like it was getting bigger.
Her face flushed with embarrassment.
Yet, she was also very angry and annoyed.
Obviously, she wanted to teach him a lesson, but she was being suppressed and bullied by him!
"You bastard, let go of me, or I’ll kill you..." The more she struggled in anger, the more the man punished her. The damned physiological reaction rendered her completely out of control.
She bit her lip tightly.
Elias looked at her reaction and smiled, "Your body’s response is much more honest than your mouth."
"Let go... Ian Sterling will be here soon!" Summer called out nervously.
"Then let him see how you revel in my embrace," he said calmly.
"You...!" She was so angry she couldn’t speak, and after a pause, had no choice but to try and appease him, "Let me go, and I’ll obediently listen to you in the future."
"Can your words be trusted anymore?" Elias Spencer scoffed, looking at her.
"Yes." Her tone softened a bit; she absolutely couldn’t let Ian Sterling see this, or it would be disastrous.
As for this dog of an ex-boyfriend, she would seek revenge and then dump him hard. Why couldn’t she date and get married just because he didn’t want to?
Wasn’t she allowed to flirt with other men?
Ha, the ocean isn’t as wide as him.
"From now on, if I tell you to do something, you’ll do it?" Elias cocked an eyebrow, finding the condition quite enticing.
"Mm..." She nodded perfunctorily in agreement.
Seeing her so obedient, he withdrew his hand, released her, and pulled a tissue to wipe his fingers.
Summer immediately stood up, watching his actions with both shame and anger. Unable to contain herself, she suddenly kicked his leg.
With a darkened face, she pointed at him and warned sternly, "Bastard, stay away from me! If you dare take advantage of me again, don’t blame me for going crazy!!!"
Elias slowly raised his eyes, looking at the woman whose mood changed faster than flipping pages. His brows arched slightly, "Wanna go again?"
Summer immediately stepped back, almost tripping over the chair behind her. She glared at him, her chest heaving heavily in discomfort and frustration!
She really wanted to smack him a few times.
Being taken advantage of last night and bullied today—she felt terribly stifled inside.
"Come here, give me a kiss." Elias beckoned her with his finger, wanting to test her loyalty.
Was he summoning a dog?
Summer looked at his beckoning finger, identical to the summoning gesture, and got infuriated again...
Kiss him?
She just wanted to bite him to death right now!
"Fine, I’ll kiss you..."
She smiled grimly, ground her teeth, and approached him. One knee was on his crossed legs, an arm around his neck, slowly moving closer to his chiseled, thin lips.
Just as she was about to kiss him, she tilted her head suddenly, biting down on his neck—
"Ugh..." Elias grunted from the pain, but he didn’t push her away or stop her, allowing her to bite him.
Summer had bitten him until he bled, yet he didn’t push her away, making her a bit puzzled. She released his neck, glaring at him coldly.
"Feeling any better?" He suddenly pulled her down, raised his hand, and wiped the blood off her lips with his thumb, knowing she was furious.
"Hmph, I won’t forgive you." Summer huffed coldly, suddenly remembering he had touched her... there... with this hand.
Immediately pushing it away, "You... who told you to touch my mouth with that hand?"
"It’s all your body, and you despise it?" He raised an eyebrow, the corners of his lips teasing into a slight smile.
"You don’t mind, right? Then let me give it a try?" Oh, this analogy; just thinking about it disgusted her.
Don’t think about it, don’t think about it.
"If you want to touch me so badly, you can try." Elias smirked wider at her analogy.
"Who wants... to do that to you? Shut up." Her face reddened with a cold snort, immediately backing away from him, arms crossed defensively.
"Don’t know who said it first." he pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, placing one between his lips before taking out a lighter and handing it to her:
"Come, light me a cigarette..."
Summer blinked in astonishment, looking him up and down. Light him a cigarette?
Was he treating her like a nightclub hostess?
"Didn’t you just agree to obediently listen to me?" Elias asked.
"You want me to listen to you? You must be delusional." She scoffed, crossing her arms and rolling her eyes at him. At that moment, the conference room door suddenly opened:
Click—
Ian Sterling walked in with a small bag, looking at the two of them, feeling the atmosphere seemed a bit ambiguous? Yet also a bit tense.
Was he overthinking it?
He walked over to Summer, took out a box of lozenges from the bag, then a packet of herbal tea, asking her,
"This is for reducing heat; do you want to drink a packet now?"
"No need, I’ll drink it at home, thank you..." Summer felt this man was genuinely considerate and gentle, unconsciously softening her tone with him.
Upon hearing her suddenly gentle voice, Elias’s expression unconsciously darkened—
"Then have a lozenge now." Ian opened the small tin, taking one out and handing it to her.
"Mm." She nodded, taking it into her hand, obediently placing it in her mouth.
Elias, seeing how she obeyed the man, had his cigarette pinched flat between his fingers! The eyes beneath his glasses turned a bit colder.
"Does Young Master Sterling have any band-aids?" he asked in a seemingly casual tone.
"No, who’s injured?" Ian asked curiously, scanning over the woman in front of him.
"My neck was bitten until it bled by Attorney Nolan just now; it’s somewhat affecting my appearance..." Elias said, deliberately turning to show the fresh teeth marks.
Summer gritted her teeth, glaring at that man—
Ian frowned; what had happened earlier? Why did Summer bite him? Even with a bite, this gesture seemed intimate.
Who would hug someone they weren’t familiar or fond of and bite their neck?
Summer was stunned, not yet thinking of how to explain, only to see that man suddenly drop another bombshell—Elias got up slowly, nonchalantly brushing off his clothes,
"My pants got all wrinkled from you sitting on them. Anyway, this is work time; if Attorney Nolan wants to throw herself into my arms, it’d be best after work."
