CHAPTER 229: CHAPTER – 208 – SECONDARY MEETING OF THE KINGS

Sylvester’s Point Of View

"Boss, out of respect for you, I’m telling you now... But if the Mini Boss gets emotional during the upcoming meeting, I’m going to excuse myself. Just update me on the situation afterwards.... That... Was a bit, too, intense." Lahnsen said, rubbing his arms.

"It’s fine. Anyone else who needs to step out if that happens, may also do so. I’m pretty sure Ferdinand would kill you otherwise, anyway. And I love you all dearly, but if you send my mate into heat with your own pheromones, I cannot guarantee your safety." I shrugged.

I couldn’t help feeling a bit jealous at the fact that Ferdinand was the one who got to comfort Tristan, but I also knew that I wouldn’t be able to alleviate his fears, either.

"That was a crazy sensation. Not sure I like how forceful his pheromones are. I’ve been around him for years now, but I’ve never experienced anything like that before..." Nahana said with a shudder.

"He’s gotten much better at controlling his emotions now. That said, Tristan has never been able to handle stress very well... So I can only assume that his emotions became too turbulent for him to control." Bellamy said.

Due to our bond, I knew that Tristan would probably go out of his way to help the mystery Alpha, if he asked. I couldn’t deny that that irritated me to no end. I would do whatever necessary to ensure that the random Alpha found love somewhere else. The last thing we needed was another damn Alpha added to our bond. And from what I understood, he was a Hyper-Dominant Alpha as well. Everything about the guy just screamed disaster.

*PING!*

My phone chimed, and I pulled it out of my pocket to check the screen.

The meeting will begin in 10 minutes

It was a message from Jaymehson. I looked up at Bellamy, and he gave me a subtle nod, before heading out of the room. No doubt to go get Ferdinand and Tristan.

Meyhymn began to set up the TV as a monitor with the computer. Everyone began to position themselves around the TV in preparation for the upcoming meeting.

Shortly after we all got situated, Ferdinand, Bellamy, and Tristan walked back into the room as well. They took their seats, and waited patiently for the screen to link up.

Once Meyhymn was finished, the screen flickered on and showed a few of the Mafia Kings already waiting.

"Hey Ferdinand. Glad to see that you guys are still safe." Lyukhe said.

"Indeed... I was worried that you guys wouldn’t be able to attend this meeting." Dyahletta added.

"Yeah, well... We aren’t out of the woods yet... But we’re prepared as we’ll ever be." I replied.

Soon, the other Kings began to trickle in one after another. Once the triplets joined in, everyone was finally in attendance... Except for Zachariah.

"Sorry to keep you all waiting. I know you all must be very busy, and undoubtedly anxious. Thank you for your patience." Zachariah said, once he finally made his appearance as well.

"I think I speak for everyone when I say that this meeting was very much worth the wait. Please proceed when you are ready, My King." Lyukhe replied.

"Right... Well, unfortunately... I don’t have any good news. During my meeting with Ohr’Aizen, it became abundantly clear that he is an Omega. And also that he is completely at the mercy of Shaihffer. Also, during our meeting, both Chazmen and Shaihffer made an appearance." Zachariah explained.

Judging by the angry frowns on everyone’s faces, the fact that he didn’t have any hood news was indeed expected.

"I can guess that they threatened to confine him to a facility indefinitely, if he doesn’t comply with their demands..." Zachariah sighed.

"So, we will most certainly be going to war soon..." Ferdinand said, matter-of-factly.

"Indeed... Though I cannot determine when they will strike. Meyhymn’s counterattack with his leaked information definitely knocked them down a notch." Zachariah said.

"Well, if I may... I do have some updated information to provide." Meyhymn said, gathering everyone’s attention.

"Absolutely... Please share what you know." Zachariah nodded.

"Well, we have learned that Shaihffer has a secondary plan. There exists an Alpha that Tristan had unknowingly imprinted on. Due to their prolonged separation, he has become quite unhinged and potentially feral. It is entirely possible that he will release said Alpha in an attempt to draw Tristan out." Meyhymn said.

This news seemed to shock the Kings more than Zachariah’s previous news. Their visible shock was almost palpable.

"Whaa? That’s just..." Gaibe uttered.

"Do we know where this Alpha is? Or even what Duhtchy he’s located in?" Dyahletta asked.

"Though the Duhtchy is unconfirmed, he is currently being detained in a facility called Omega Dai Kai. Information suggests that said facility is located in the Stahr’Daezyn Duhtchy... But again, that information hasn’t been confirmed." Meyhymn replied.

This new tidbit of information unsettled me, Ferdinand, Bellamy, and Cole, more than anyone else. If that information was actually true, then that Alpha was much closer to StohneGarrdin than we had initially assumed.

"Lyukhe, is there anyway you could confirm this information?" Zachariah asked, startling me and the others in our room.

"I can certainly try. I would rather not have Ferdinand and Co. Weaken their security to investigate it themselves." He replied, sincerely.

"Thank you for your assistance, Lyukhe." Ferdinand sighed in relief.

"Think nothing of it. I am completely useless to you otherwise. I regret that I cannot assist you any further. You guys have done so much for me and my Omegas, I couldn’t hope to repay you in full." Lyukhe smiled softly.

*Ping...Ping...Ping...Ping...*

Suddenly, everyone’s phones began to chime in rapid succession. I took my phone out to see what was going on, and immediately froze.

"My goodness, Meyhymn... You certainly aren’t pulling your punches, huh?" Dyahletta chuckled.

News was currently breaking that the previous Parliamentary Head had gone missing, and was strategically replaced with a puppet substitute. It was also hinted that the Director of the Judicial Branch was allegedly behind the suspicious activity.

All eyes turned to Meyhymn, who was currently sporting a menacing shit eating grin.

"Of course not. My mate is also at risk because of their idiotic plots. That said, if I may be so bold... I suggest that you all lock down your Duhtchies. No one in, and no one out. You should also work with your grocers and food imports to feed, and support your citizens fairly. Xander, and Xavier, I must ask that you take extreme caution and care with your security. We have elected to secretly place our souls in your Duhtchy’s care." Meyhymn advised.

The twins immediately stiffened, wearing stern, pensive expressions, as they nodded slowly in affirmation. It was a heavy burden that we had unexpectedly dropped in their laps, however, we couldn’t risk informing them of our plans beforehand.

"Due to everyone’s police force potentially being compromised, I suggest that we have our men monitor all entryways and exits, of our Duhtchies, and have the police departments handle feeding the populous." Waihlynn added.

"Agreed. They could never be trusted with such an important task, however, they would also risk mass riots and looting, if they handled the distribution of provisions improperly. Hahaha! It’s genius." Gaibe chuckled darkly.

"Are there any objections to that plan?" Zachariah asked.

No one objected the plan. Instead, everyone was wearing firm, determined, and resolved expressions. It was honestly a heartwarming sight. Even without the unspoken duty we Kings had to one another, it wouldn’t be unreasonable for any of them to choose self preservation above camaraderie.

Knowing that everyone would give their all to the upcoming fight, at the risk of their untimely demise, was heartening, to say the least.

"I also have some information to share as well." Bennhayzin said, finally joining the discussion.

"Oho? Do tell, Lazy King." Lyukhe teased.

Bennhayzin rolled his eyes, before dawning an inscrutable demeanor.

"I sent some people to Whastelahnd, to investigate Rahzden." Bennhayzin said, stunning everyone in attendance into shocked astonishment.

We could do nothing but stare in wide eyed bemusement. It was so unlike him to get involved in tedious work, such as infiltration, but he had done so willingly, and unprompted.

"How very unlike you, Benn. Did your covert incursion bare fruit?" Zachariah asked, intrigued.

"More than I ever thought possible... In my opinion, he is either extremely stupid, insufferably cock, or severely lacking in the foresight department..." Bennhayzin sighed in exasperation.

"I have no doubt that it’s all of the above, but please elaborate further on your findings, if you will." Ferdinand replied, dryly.

"He has the entire Duhtchy wrapped around his finger. His citizens are basically his personal foot soldier lackeys. And also... He has placed a spy inside your home, Ferdinand." Bennhayzin said, remorsefully.

Meanwhile, everyone in our room tensed up, and became extremely pissed. I was no exception.
