“So he’s finally decided to visit us here, has he?” Empress Victoria asked with a look of interest on her face as she sat opposite her daughter.

“No, mother, he is coming here because he may become Diva Rowena’s bodyguard when she starts her tour,” Tessa replied.

“Regardless, we must make sure he visits us here in the palace. I am desperately interested in the man who has attracted my dear daughter's attention.”

“What do you mean, attracted my attention?” Tessa asked while blushing before adding, “Stop speaking nonsense, mother. Also, is it appropriate for him to still visit the palace after what he just did on Trillion?”

“Oh my dear daughter, you may be able to fool yourself; however, you can’t fool me. When was the last time you showed so much interest in a man? Victoria replied with a smile before adding, “As for what he did on Trillion, while heavy-handed handed it was in the end only drug traffickers, gang members and corrupt security personnel that he went against. While it’s regrettable that some civilians were killed or injured, this is to be expected in battles. I therefore see no issue with him visiting us in the palace.”

“Very well, also I will have you know that I meanly find his streams entertaining, plus someone has to keep Becky in line.”

“Yes, Becky could pose a problem; we both know how she can’t stick with a guy for more than five minutes.”

“While I agree with you on that point, she does seem more infatuated with the streamer than with any of the other guys she’s been with in the past.”

“That's probably because she hasn’t been able to have sex with him straight away, unlike any of her other victims in the past,” Victoria replied, causing Tessa to blush.

“How are you still embarrassed when anyone talks about sex? Considering you're always with Becky, I would have thought you would have overcome that by now.”

“Just because I don’t go around complaining to the other women in our family about how bad the sex was last night, like the two of you.”

“I honestly can’t decide if it’s a good thing or a bad thing that you got that side of you from your father and not me.

On the plus side, you act like a princess should, and you're saving yourself for the man you intend to marry.

On the negative, you are subjected to all the sexual conversations of us women of the Ororis family.

Women of the Ororis family have always had high sex drives because of our families lineage to a Succuba, one of the conditions I made before becoming your fathers empress was that he wouldn’t restrict who I slept with, though of course as you know this is kept secret and measures are put in place to prevent the knowledge being spread.”

“I still can’t believe Father, the emperor married a woman who he knew would be unfaithful to him,” Stacey said with a sigh.

“It’s not as if he has any right to complain with the number of women he fucks besides his legal wives, at least I keep my infidelity a secret from the masses.

Anyway, it’s politics, dear, your father's reign as emperor wasn’t always as smooth as it is now, as he was close to having his power usurped by his younger brother back then. If he hadn’t made an agreement with my grandfather, the Ororis family head at the time, he would most likely have lost his position and been executed, meaning you and your siblings would have never been born.

Regardless, what shall we do about Becky? She’s desperate to meet the streamer. Is it safe to allow it since she will likely jump on him the moment she sees him and try to drag him away?”

“Can we stop her from meeting him?” Tessa asked before continuing, “She was already planning to drag me and Lorelie to Trillion just to meet him. Can you imagine what she would do if we tried to stop her?”

“You're right, perhaps we should do it just to see what she does,” Victoria said with a giggle.

“Mother.” Tessa admonished.

“Fine, fine.” Victoria said with a smirk before adding, “Still, I can’t wait to meet this streamer of yours.”

“He’s not mine and don’t even think about it,” Tessa replied accusingly.

“About what?” Victoria asked innocently.

“I know that smirk of yours, you get it when you think you’ve found a new toy to play with. However much he may look like us, he’s not Terran, so don’t expect him to come rubbing to your bed chamber like all the Terran men do.”

Victoria didn’t answer but instead said, “Lorelie has told me how similar he is in appearance to male Terrans, just that he seems more plain. I must admit I find it fascinating that there is another race out there that looks so much like us.”

“But I don’t want to return yet.” Tephe pouted as she looked at a woman who looked similar to herself with green hair.

“You will do as I say, young lady.” The woman reprimanded as she stood in front of Tephe with her hands on her hips.

“But mum, my friends are excited about finally being able to meet the streamer.”

“And why would you care about some streamer?” Tephe’s mum, Pevaphio, asked before adding, “From what Malacoss tells me, you have only watched one of his streams.”

“Stupid tattletale,” Tephe mumbled with a pout.

“Don’t speak that way about Malacoss. If it weren't for him speaking up for you before, I would have dragged you straight back home as soon as I arrived.”

“Not likely, as soon as you heard the mention of God’s Oasis, you couldn’t refuse staying, you damn drunk.”

“What did you just call me?” Pevaphio snapped.

“Nothing.” Tephe replied quickly and then, as if remembering something, she said, “Oh, right, weren't you complaining only the other day that you can’t find a Universal Senator's personal bodyguard that meets your requirements?”

“What of it?” Pevaphio asked suspiciously.

“Well, Becky was telling me that the streamer has a universal force staff, which must mean he either is or used to be a Universal Senator's personal bodyguard, right? Maybe he could meet your requirements.” Tephe replied excitedly.

“You're just trying to find a reason for me not to drag you back home?” Pevaphio replied, causing Tephe to laugh sheepishly.

Pevaphio thought for a few minutes before sighing and saying, “Fine, we will wait until he arrives so that I can see how capable he is. I can’t be the only senator who doesn’t have a personal bodyguard at the upcoming Supreme Speaker selection after all.”

“Great.” Tephe replied with a smile before adding, as if she had just thought of it, “Oh, right, I just remembered something else Becky told me, she asked to relay a message to you that Empress Victoria has invited you for drinks again.”

“Oh really?” Pevaphio said with interest as she turned and walked towards the door while saying, “Why didn't you mention that before? I should go see her right away. It would be rude to keep the empress waiting after all.”

After she left and closed the door behind her, Tephe bowed slightly towards the door while saying, “Sorry, Empress Victoria.” After which, she jumped out the window and went to explore the capital some more.

“What do we know about the ship that attacked Trillion’s sky towers?” A man in a uniform asked as he sat at the head of a table with two other uniformed men.

“Very little, Admiral.” One uniformed officer reported before continuing, “All we have is what’s available on the universal subspace network and some hearsay.”

As the officer finished speaking, a holographic display appeared showing a blurry image of Spector along with his basic information.

[[Ship Registration: EDF001-Spector]]

[[Captain: Adam Spencer]]

[[Size Classification:: Medium.]]

[[Reactor: Unknown]]

[[Sublight engine: Unknown.]]

[[FTL Engine: Unknown]]

[[Offensive Weapons: 3 laser repeaters, 2 Distortion Repeaters, 2 rear Ballistic Repeaters capable of launching Tempest IV EMP Scatter Missiles and deploying seismic charges]]

[[Defensive Abilities: Thermal countermeasures]]

[[Additional notes: Rumoured to have a Neutron reactor, an Anti-gravity Drive, capable of Subspace travel, Spark II EMP Missiles capability, EM countermeasures, equipped with a hoverbike.]]

“What little we do know comes from what the Palaxia Defence force witnessed during their raid on the pirate base; everything else is hearsay we have gathered from articles his viewers have posted on Xer-verse.”

“A neutron reactor and subspace travel capability in a medium-class ship? Are you kidding me?” Another officer asked.

“As I said, at present it’s all hearsay; it’s highly likely someone is just posting that in an attempt to get this Adam Spencer more views.”

“Still, the Palaxia Defence force’s report on the whole situation stated how impressive the ship was and that it was no coincidence that it managed to take out not only the most pirate ships but also severely cripple a large class ship.”
