“Has no one ever asked?” Adam enquired.

“Would you be brave enough to ask someone who can wipe your existence with a thought if they are a hot woman?” Rowena asked with a frown.

“With a thought?” Adam asked in disbelief.

“The universe is a big place and new things are being discovered all the time, not all of it will make sense to you, and the powers the progenitors wield are one of those things.”

“Progenitors? As in plural? As in more than two?”

“Of course, every race and species had to start somewhere, and those are the progenitors. However, most progenitors have long since died; while they are the most powerful of their race, they will still age and eventually die if their race can’t live forever like the Deverinians or the Solarians, or it doesn’t have the ability to extend their life like my Brood race, for example.”

“So is the Brood progenitor still alive?” 

“Yes, however, they entered eternal slumber millennia ago, and no one has seen them since.” 

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): What is with the lifespan of these races?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): I know, right? I thought Diva Rowena was already old, but a being that's been alive since the birth of the universe.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Two beings, their siblings, remember.]

[Superhearofangirl (Earth): It’s not polite to comment on a woman's age.]

[Justiceistruth (Earth): It’s just a rumour, I doubt it’s true.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2):  Only they would know; also, it’s not confirmed that they are the only two beings created at the birth of the universe.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Wait, you're saying there could be more out there?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Prestigious3horns is correct, there is evidence to point to the fact that other…. entities were created at the birth of the universe.]

[Justiceistruth (Earth): I don’t like how you wrote the word entities.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Well, that’s because there are only a handful that we know of, including the Demon King and Omniel. Another is the Cthulhu]

[Every Earthling: 😰]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Your…. You're saying the Cthulhu actually exists?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Indeed, have you heard of it before? That's surprising.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): It is a creature a famous author here on Earth came up with for one of his stories, and has since been featured in numerous pop cultures.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Pop cultures?]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): It stands for popular culture.]

“So, does the Demon King have a name?” Adam asked.

“Apparently so, however, I have no idea what it is. You're even less likely to learn the Demon King's name than to be able to meet with them.” Rowena answered.

“Is it some big secret?” 

“You're asking the wrong person; you're better off asking Malacoss than me. I have never met the Demon King, so I can’t tell you much more than I have.”

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian Prime): Don’t ask me either, as even I have never had the honour to know the progenitor's name.]

“Seriously?” Adam asked.

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian Prime): Yes, all I know is that the Demon King's name is ‘special’ in some way.]

“I see,” Adam replied before he and the women returned to watching the movie.

Several days later, the group was relaxing in the mess hall, watching another movie. They had spent the last few days watching movies, playing games and generally relaxing.

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Are you trying to tell us that Earthlings figured out time travel?]

[Justiceistruth (Earth): Oh yeah, we have figured out several different ways to travel through time, slingshot around the sun, a telephone box, a flux capacitor are just a few.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): So if this film is to be believed, we just need to build ourselves a land-based vehicle that can’t even fly and looks like a tin box with rocket boosters on the back before we have it reach a speed of 88 miles per hour?]

[Justiceistruth (Earth): You also need a flux capacitor on, and don’t forget about the plutonium-fueled nuclear reactor.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): The Dorlorean can fly, just not until the 2nd movie.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Dude, spoilers.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Oh, right shit, my bad.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Does everyone get access to nuclear power on Earth or something?]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Oh yeah, it’s a basic power source.]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): He’s such a fucking dumbass.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): …]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): The Dwarfinian science directorate has determined that time travel is impossible.]

As the chat was discussing the movie, Spector made an announcement.

“We are about to arrive at Oceana Seven within the Oasis Galaxy. We will be returning to normal space in a few minutes.”

[SciFifanboy (Earth): Finally, time for a new planet, this is gonna be so Sci-Fi.]

“So we are finally here,” Adam said before turning to Lorelie and speaking, “Once we leave subspace, is there anything I need to know?”

“You can’t directly land on Oceana Seven, because of its limited amount of land. We will need to dock at the orbital space station before taking one of the transport shuttles to the surface below.” Lorelie replied before continuing.

“My friend should have arranged for us to get docking clearance, so once you contact the orbital station, just mention my name and that Jacques has saved a docking bay for me.” 

“Understood,” Adam replied as he stood up and stretched slightly before heading for the cockpit.

“Not going with him this time?” Rowena asked as she smirked at her granddaughter, who just rolled her eyes.

Over the last few days, Adam had gone to the cockpit several times to make sure everything was fine, and Stacey had accompanied him ‘just in case he needed help’.

Adam reached the cockpit just in time to see Spector return to normal space before a large blue planet appeared on the viewscreen. The planet was very similar to Earth except that it had way more water; in fact, Lorelie had informed him as they travelled, that there was only one fairly large land mass while all the other land masses were small islands.

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): It doesn’t look that much different from Earth, just more blue.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Oh yeah, Oceana Seven, beach time baby.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Beach time?]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Yeah, Oceana Seven is almost like one big resort.]

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): Isn’t Oceana Seven the homeworld of the Merinmians? Did they seriously turn their entire homeworld into a resort?]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): That idiot is overreacting again. While Oceana Seven does indeed have a resort that people of all races and species can come and stay at. The resort is mainly situated on the largest land mass, with a few of the smaller islands around it. The majority of Merinmians live in the capital city or under the ocean.]

The capital city of Oceana Seven was unique in that it wasn’t on any of the land masses, but instead situated a short distance from the largest land mass, both on top of and below the ocean.

It was a floating city that served both those who lived in the water and those who lived on land; it was even possible to purchase special breathers that allowed those who lived on land to visit the underwater city.

Shortly after returning to normal space, Spector received a hail that Adam answered.

“This is Oceana Seven Space Station Control. Our sensors indicate that your ship has just left subspace. Care to explain why you travelled here by subspace and not using jump gates and FTL, that is standard procedure?” A male Merinmian asked suspiciously as soon as he appeared on the viewscreen.

“This is the starship Spector. We are currently transporting several prominent figures, including Diva Lorelie. Because of the recent attacks made against her, it was deemed prudent to travel via subspace rather than conventional means.” Adam replied.

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): Err streamer, pretty sure they were attacking you, not Diva Lorelie.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Well, he’s technically not wrong.]

“I see so you're carrying Diva Lorelie.” The male Merinmian replied in a much calmer and friendlier voice before continuing. “We were alerted that the ship carrying Diva Lorelie would be arriving soon, and have prepared a docking bay accordingly. Please proceed to docking bay sixty-nine.”

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): 69. Kekeke.]

“Understood, I will initiate docking immediately.” 

“Very good, and enjoy your stay on Oceana Seven.”

As the communication ended, Spector received docking instructions from the space station indicating where docking bay sixty-nine was located.

“Initiate docking procedure,” Adam instructed.

“Affirmative.”

The chat watched as Spector moved towards the large circular space station that had many differently sized rings interconnected.

As Spector approached docking bay sixty-nine, the lights around the docking bay door lit up and started to spin before the door opened, allowing access.

Spector slowly entered inside the docking bay, and the chat watched as her landing gear deployed before she finally touched down.

As Spector came to a stop, the landing bay doors began to close again before the docking bay began to pressurise.

“Landing complete, the docking bay has been successfully pressurised and has a breathable atmosphere,” Spector reported.
