“Come on in, the water's great,” Tephe said happily as her head reappeared above the surface.

“Well, someone's impatient.” Lorelie said with a giggle before she turned to the others and asked.” Shall we?”

After she finished speaking, she performed a perfect dive into the pool that would have put professional divers back on earth to shame.

The other four watched as Lorelie’s figure, which was now underwater, started to transform as her legs merged into one to create a long tail, after which she quickly approached the surface before her whole body flew out of the water.

Now that she was out of the water, the four could see that Lorelie’s tail was a similar shade of turquoise to her hair, also her hands now had webbing between her fingers, and gills had appeared on either side of her neck. As she flew in the air, Lorelie did a perfect flip before diving back into the water again.

Soon she surfaced again with a happy smile before asking Adam, “So how do I look?”

“Beautiful,” Adam replied, instantly making Lorelie’s smile widen even more.

“It feels great to be back in my true form and able to swim in the ocean. Come join us, Tephe was right, the water is great.” Lorelie said before diving below the surface again.

The other three that were still on the beach looked at each other before they all climbed into the pool and submerged themselves in the seawater.

“Wow, it really is the perfect temperature,” Stacey said in surprise.

“It’s nothing really to be surprised about,” Rowena began to explain as she leaned back against the side of the pool and relaxed. “Oceana Seven, like most planets that are over ninety per cent water, has a weather control system to keep the weather as the Merinmians desire.

If they didn’t, the different floating cities on the planet, along what little landmass there is, would be battered by powerful, colossal storms since there is not enough landmass to weaken them, and instead they just grow stronger as they travel over the oceans.”

“I think I remember seeing a TV episode about that from one of my favourite Sci-Fi shows,” Adam commented thoughtfully.

After a few moments, Lorelie resurfaced before asking, “Come swim with me, Adam.”

“Even though I would love to, how am I supposed to join you when I can not breathe underwater?” Adam asked.

“No problem,” Lorelie said before reaching for her bag that she had placed down earlier. From inside it, she pulled out four identical objects before passing one to each of them.

The object Lorelie gave Adam and the others seemed to consist of three parts. The first part was a circular tube with a flat white section attached to it. At either end of the circular tube and connected to it, two more tubes turned off at forty-five-degree angles to the first, and each contained a small section filled with holes.

“These are waterbreathers, put that white section in your mouth and breathe through it to allow yourself to breathe underwater,” Lorelie explained.

Adam did as instructed and put the white section in his mouth, causing the two circular sections with small holes to brush lightly against his cheeks.

After doing so, he put his head under the water and tried breathing through the breather. The first time he did so, he made the mistake of breathing through both his nose and mouth, causing him to spit the breath out before he came above the surface and started coughing.

“I said breathe through the breather,” Lorelie said while rubbing his back as the four women chuckled at his condition.

Adam nodded as he continued to cough, and it took him a couple of minutes to clear his airway enough to try again.

This time, he succeeded and was able to breathe successfully underwater with the help of the waterbreather.

Lorelie’s beautiful smiling face appeared before him underwater, and she waved at him to follow her, and so he quickly dived beneath the water and followed after the figure of the beautiful Merinmian who seemed to effortlessly glide through the water.

Lorelie would occasionally look back and smile at him before pulling off amazing underwater stunts for his viewing pleasure.

It didn’t take long for them to leave the pool and enter the ocean as the surroundings opened up for Adam to look at. As it did so, he couldn’t help but stop and look around at the ocean before him, coral reefs like he had seen on television back on Earth stretched out before him, while aquatic creatures of different shapes and sizes swam through the ocean or skittered along the ground.

As he was staring in awe at the sight before him, Lorelie snuck up behind and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before swimming away again with a happy smile but heavy blush on her face, beautiful as if happy at her own daring. Adam shook his head with a smile at her attitude before he started to swim after her again.

“Hold it,” Rowena said as she grabbed hold of Tephe to stop her chasing after Adam and Lorelie.

“Aww, but I want to go swim with them too,” Tephe complained with a pout.

“I will swim with you soon, let those two have their fun.” Rowena replied before turning to Stacey with a smirk and asking, “Are you sure it’s ok to let them go off alone like that?”

“Why not? It’s not like Lorelie dares to make the first move.” Stacey replied as she relaxed against the edge of the pool.

“Well, you're not wrong, but you're also not right, she managed to ask him out on a date, something that surprised me.”

“What's a date?” Tephe asked.

“It’s where a male and female go out somewhere together just the two of them and see if they like each other enough to want to start mating,” Rowena explained.

“Oh…. “ Tephe replied and thought for a moment before saying, “Maybe I should go out on a date with Adam then.”

Rowena burst into laughter at this, while Stacey just decided to act like the comment came from an ignorant child and ignored it and instead said.

“I said I wouldn’t help her and I wont, but I also wont get in her way. Though if she does succeed, the two of us will have to talk about some things.”

“Going to make it clear who the first wife is, a?” Rowena asked with her signature smirk.

“Not exactly,” Stacey replied before explaining. “We both know that group relationships or harem’s as Adam likes to call them, are not harmonious. The wives or husbands are always scheming against each other to have a higher position in the relationship.”

“Well, you're not wrong. Just look at the Terran Imperial Family, from what I have heard, Emperor Daniels' wives are constantly thinking up schemes or trying to find ways to damage or ruin Victoria’s reputation.”

“Exactly, while in some circumstances, competition can be a good thing, I believe that for a group relationship, the dynamic Kavita had with her lovers is the better and more successful option.”

“Oh, so you mean to give up your position and influence as first wife so that all Adam’s future lovers are equal?” Rowena asked as she looked at her granddaughter with interest.

“Why do you make it sound like he will have many lovers?” Stacey asked with a frown.

“Oh please, he already has you, he’s about to claim Lorelie, then there is Tessa and Becky back on Terrana Five. And he has only just stepped into the known universe.”

“Hell no, is that bitch joining, no chance.”

“Perhaps, perhaps not. But she is still definitely interested in him, and I don’t mean just for sex.”

“Oh come on, you know that Succuba never tie themselves down, one many is never enough to satisfy their lustful desires.”

“Well, that's true, but you're forgetting that only a very small part of Becky is Succuba. Victoria is more Succuba than she is, yet she took a husband.”

“Though she’s probably regretting that now,” Stacey said with a smirk.

“You're not wrong, this is why I refused all the arranged marriages the family tried to force on me when I was your age.”

“How did you manage that?” Stacey asked.

“I beat them all up,” Rowena replied as she remembered her youth. “I challenged them all and told them that I would only marry someone who could defeat me.”

“Really?” Stacey asked with surprise before adding. “You're not one for picking fights.”

“I was a lot more hot-blooded in my youth, back when I was still learning to control my desires and abilities, I would often get into fights or feed on whoever looked delicious.”

“And you're lecturing me about how I feed on Adam.”

“I’m lecturing you because I know what you're going through, having experienced it myself.”

“Come on, Diva Rowena, let's go swim already,” Tephe whined as she was getting bored listening to a conversation she couldn’t fully understand.
