Saint Seiya: The Multiverse Libra Gold Saint
Chapter 24 24: SS: 24 Strange
The House of Evolution was relocated to City Z, right next to Saitama's building. Dr. Genus went to great lengths to reinforce the structure.
Inside the modified facility, Kaiser sat with his eyes closed, deep in meditation. The cosmo, a fusion of body and soul, was immensely powerful but arduous to cultivate.
"My thoughtform has only seventy to eighty percent of my main body's strength." Kaiser reflected, "but its meditation progress mirrors the original."
He sensed how the world's luck aided his growth, uncovering the true potential of the Heroic Spirit system. Though the cosmo was a foreign power, his legitimate traversal meant the world will recognized it, allowing enhancement through training. The luck traded from King proved invaluable, a pleasant surprise despite being half as effective as it would be for a native.
"It buys me time in the main world." Kaiser noted. "The power cultivated by this thoughtform can be brought back to my original body. If I train it to match my main body's level before returning from each Heroic Spirit mission, my strength in the main world will surge instantly."
But world luck wasn't easy to acquire. Tasks like sparring with Saitama or training King were rare. The One Punch Man world was dangerous, and King's desire for greater power was understandable. Few worlds had someone like Saitama... invincible, yet bored enough to seek a worthy fight. This was one reason Kaiser anchored himself to this world.
Outside, Dr. Genus analyzed Kaiser through various instruments. "Strange." He muttered, adjusting his glasses. "His body…"
Kaiser's cosmo baffled him. Its mechanics were incomprehensible.
"Could he be from another world?" Dr. Genus wondered. He wasn't fully versed in every method of gaining strength, but he knew many, including Bang's martial arts. Yet Kaiser's cosmo was beyond his grasp.
A golden glow faded as Kaiser opened his eyes. "This thoughtform's power is nearly equal to my main body." He said. "But the eighth sense remains elusive. Must I truly face death to achieve it?"
He frowned. Advancing through the cosmo's stages was grueling. Few Saints in history had reached the eighth sense, a monumental threshold. Only those who attained it gained the bare minimum to survive a Holy War.
"With less than a month until this mission ends." Kaiser mused, "it seems Boros is almost here."
"God-level?"
In his previous life, debates raged over Boros's classification. Some argued he didn't qualify as God-level, unable to surpass Blast. Yet labeling him Dragon-level felt inadequate. Boros undeniably possessed the power to annihilate human civilization, his combat prowess far outstripping other Dragon-level threats. By Kaiser's estimation, Boros could be considered God-level... a weaker god, but a god nonetheless.
"Mr. Kaiser, the Hero Association's evaluation results for Saitama and Genos are in." Dr. Genus reported. "As you predicted, Saitama was ranked C-Class. The Hero Association is utterly incompetent."
"Don't worry about it." Kaiser replied. "Saitama doesn't care about rankings. His body shows no energy fluctuations, no superpowers, no traces of martial arts training. It's no surprise the Hero Association can't gauge him. They probably think he's just a physical cultivator."
Several S-Rank heroes, like Superalloy Darkshine, Tanktop Master, and Puri-Puri Prisoner, relied on physical prowess, though none were particularly exceptional.
"Hm?" Kaiser looked skyward. "An unexpected guest."
He spotted Tornado's figure in the distance, seemingly searching for someone. Tornado's strength was formidable, hailed as humanity's final trump card. At full power, her telekinesis could lift continental plates... an absurd feat. In the later battles against the Monster Association, she was undeniably the MVP. Her world luck was remarkably dense.
"People still live in City Z?" Tornado muttered, her telekinesis detecting human lifeforms alongside the modified creatures of the House of Evolution. Frowning, she descended above the facility. "Hey! You in there, come out!"
Her voice echoed to Dr. Genus and the others. The metal gates slowly opened.
"Hm?" Tornado's eyes narrowed as she saw Kaiser. "Who are you?"
Her senses couldn't detect him. If she hadn't seen him with her own eyes, she'd never believe her telekinesis had failed. His aura was calm, unremarkable, yet no ordinary person could evade her perception. To Tornado, Kaiser was an extremely dangerous figure.
"Such immense telekinetic power." Kaiser noted, impressed. "Your strength is remarkable."
Her mental energy rivaled that of a Golden Saint nearing the seventh sense. Some Golden Saints, not reliant on telekinesis, might even fall short of her.
