CHAPTER 174: CHAPTER 174 THIS IS MY WIFE, SUMMER SUTTON

He shouted quite loudly, at this time Adrian Walyon and Summer Sutton were still not awake.

Adrian Walyon was forcibly woken up by his loud shouting.

Startled by the noise, Adrian grabbed his coat and wrapped it around himself, his face stern as he went downstairs.

When he got downstairs, Sophie Walyon was sitting on the sofa with her little short legs crossed, smiling at him.

"What did you say?" Adrian asked with a cold face.

"I said, it’s too boring at home, I’ve decided to move here and live with you guys." Sophie seriously repeated her words.

Adrian’s expression stiffened.

"You’re not welcome here!" he said coldly, issuing an eviction order.

However, Sophie didn’t seem to care about his opinion at all, "It’s okay, even if you don’t welcome me, sister-in-law Summer definitely will."

He was an exceptionally smart kid, good at reading people’s minds, and he could see right through Summer Sutton.

Adrian’s already displeased face turned even darker.

"You won’t have the chance for her to welcome you." Without another word, he grabbed Sophie with one hand and her suitcase with the other, and before Sophie could see Summer Sutton, Adrian dragged him out the door and threw him out.

He shut the door behind Sophie, called the family to pick him up, as if Sophie had never visited at all, then casually went inside to wash up.

"Did someone come over just now?" Summer Sutton got up, changed clothes, and asked suspiciously.

"No, you heard wrong." Adrian replied nonchalantly.

"Really?" Summer Sutton scratched her head, feeling unsure.

Adrian didn’t bother to explain further and continued washing his face.

There was absolutely no way he would let anyone move into this villa.

The family wanted him and Summer Sutton to have a kid, but Adrian found children too noisy and bothersome, and he had no intention of having any.

He hadn’t even planned on having biological children, so how could he possibly accept Sophie moving in to live with him?

Summer Sutton still had a few days before school started, but Adrian had already started working.

When going to the company, he took Summer Sutton along with him.

In the afternoon, he received a call from an assistant saying Lorraine Hughes’ agent wanted to invite him and a few other investors for a meal.

Lorraine’s side had actually called Adrian’s side more than once, trying to set up a meeting.

But Adrian had always used the excuse of being busy to refuse them.

This was not the first time, Adrian couldn’t remember how many times it had been.

Since Summer Sutton was right there, and Lorraine’s side invited more than just him, Adrian accepted this dinner invitation.

"I’ll take you somewhere tonight." He glanced at Summer Sutton on the sofa, his lips curling slightly.

"Where to?" Summer asked curiously.

"Just eat." Adrian casually replied, burying himself back in paperwork.

Summer Sutton thought he was planning a dinner for just the two of them and didn’t think much of it.

After work, Adrian drove her to a restaurant.

Upon entering, Adrian led her into a private room, and when Summer Sutton entered, it was already full of people.

Including Lorraine Hughes, whom she had met before.

Lorraine Hughes was obviously stunned when she saw her.

Adrian ignored the surprised reactions of everyone in the room and calmly introduced, "This is my wife, Summer Sutton."

In truth, Adrian understood Lorraine’s agent’s intent in inviting him perfectly well.

By bringing Summer Sutton to this kind of occasion, the message he wanted to convey was clear to everyone.
