Chapter 175: Good Kidneys, Good Life
CHAPTER 175: CHAPTER 175: GOOD KIDNEYS, GOOD LIFE
Adrian Walyon keeps Summer Sutton by his side at all times, which is telling everyone not to have any unrealistic ideas about him.
He is a married man; he won’t accept anyone’s advances.
Lorraine Hughes stared blankly at Summer Sutton, seemingly stunned by Adrian Walyon’s words.
However, her expression quickly returned to normal.
The manager, being a seasoned pro, chuckled lightly and invited the two to sit down, "Young Master Walyon, what would you like to eat? Tonight, our Lauren is treating, feel free to order anything."
Summer Sutton was still a bit confused by the current situation.
Adrian Walyon introduced her identity to so many people, which she hadn’t expected.
She also didn’t expect him to bring her to a dinner with so many people.
Summer Sutton hadn’t even figured out what the situation tonight was all about.
But Adrian Walyon said that she just needed to eat.
Sitting next to Adrian Walyon, Summer Sutton quietly began to eat her own meal.
Occasionally, she’d listen in on what the group at the dinner was talking about.
Tonight’s dinner was still centered around Lorraine Hughes’ new play.
Although Adrian Walyon was chatting about investments on the surface, his gaze would occasionally drift towards Summer Sutton.
Whenever she wanted to reach for a dish but couldn’t because her arms were too short, Adrian Walyon would have a server specifically bring a portion to her.
He was continuously watching Summer Sutton, while at the dining table, there was a gaze fixed on him.
He seemed to treat his wife very well...
Lorraine Hughes quietly watched the two for a moment, lost in thought.
In fact, Lorraine Hughes’ manager invited Adrian Walyon to tonight’s dinner with the intention of letting Lorraine interact more with him to facilitate Adrian’s investment.
But unexpectedly, Adrian Walyon brought Summer Sutton along, and by the end of the meal, the manager had to stay well-behaved, not daring to make any moves.
The dinner ended quickly in less than an hour.
Summer Sutton ate a bit too much tonight, and on the way back to the villa, she asked Adrian Walyon to stop the car by the roadside so she could buy some digestive tablets.
After buying them, she was ready to leave, but Adrian Walyon followed her in and reminded her, "We’re almost out at home."
For a moment, Summer Sutton couldn’t figure out what he was referring to.
Adrian Walyon walked straight in, went to the family planning products section, picked up a few boxes he needed, and paid without changing expression.
Summer Sutton looked at the small bag in his hand, feeling a bit dizzy.
How many times have they bought such things since getting married?
Summer Sutton suddenly began to reflect: since their marriage, has their frequency been a bit too high?
While getting in the car with him, Summer Sutton nudged closer to him, trying to hint, "Have you been feeling unwell lately?"
Like fatigue, kidney deficiency, or lack of energy?
Although Adrian Walyon is young and vigorous, everyone has limited stamina.
"No," Adrian Walyon replied tersely with two words.
"Do you need the maid to bring back some light food, like mussels or sea cucumbers, one of these days?" Summer Sutton suggested.
Though she spoke implicitly, there were quite a few hints.
It was all for kidney nourishment!
Adrian Walyon finally understood what she was trying to say.
He stopped in his tracks, slowly turned his face to look at her, and stared at her for quite a while.
Summer Sutton was caught a bit off guard by his gaze, "You don’t like these?"
Assuming the menu didn’t satisfy him, she switched to a few other options, "How about changing to mulberries, lamb, or beef?"
Adrian Walyon took several deep breaths and sarcastically drawled, "Mrs. Walyon, you really do have a thoughtful heart!"
