Lying beside her, he pulled her into his embrace. Summer Sutton’s body felt warmth and instinctively burrowed into his arms. The two of them held each other like an affectionate young couple and slept through the night.

The next day, Summer Sutton accompanied Adrian Walyon for another day of environmental survey. In the evening, to rush back for the professional courses the next day, she hurried to the airport.

Adrian Walyon didn’t insist on her staying. Her willingness to fly back and forth for more than twenty hours was really enough.

Back home, Summer Sutton continued to be busy with work and study.

After attending professional courses in the morning and being busy with Ariella Sawyer in the afternoon, she received a call from Old Master Walyon just before getting off work.

"You haven’t been home for a few days. We’re having a family dinner tonight, you should come back!" The old man threw out a sentence and hung up the phone.

Old Master Walyon considered her a part of the family. Only when you are regarded as family would you be invited to family gatherings.

Summer Sutton was never used to going back to the Walyon family, and with Adrian not there, it felt even less like home.

However, thinking of the old man’s special call, she decided to go.

As she walked out of the studio, she coincidentally ran into Ryan Walyon.

The route from the Walyon Clan Group building back to the Walyon home actually passed by Summer Sutton’s place.

It was not surprising to run into Ryan Walyon.

Seeing her, Ryan Walyon stopped the car.

"Heading back? Let’s go together, I’ll give you a ride!" He opened the car door, motioning for her to get in.

As all family members, even though Summer Sutton was not accustomed to it, it was hard to refuse a ride.

Summer Sutton hesitated for a moment and got into his car.

Ryan Walyon started the car slowly and chatted with her while driving, "Did Adrian say when he’ll be back?"

"No, it depends on the progress over there. If it wraps up quickly, he should be able to return sooner." Summer Sutton said.

"True." Ryan Walyon agreed.

"Is school still busy? Do you plan to join the family company after graduation?" He asked, switching topics.

"My major is okay, not that many busy theoretical courses. After graduation, the family company doesn’t really fit my major, does it?" Summer Sutton honestly expressed her thoughts.

"That’s good too, doing your own thing, independent of anyone." Ryan Walyon acknowledged her.

The two of them chatted about some other trivial matters in life.

They arrived at the Walyon home at six o’clock.

To Summer Sutton’s surprise, Gina Sutton was there again today.

Recently, Gina Sutton’s family had been trying to win over Old Master Walyon, hoping that even if they couldn’t secure Adrian Walyon, they might manage to have Gina marry Ryan Walyon through their efforts.

Anyway, Gina Sutton was determined to marry into the Walyon family.

When Summer Sutton and Ryan Walyon entered the house together, Gina Sutton glanced at their faces. Seeing them chatting harmoniously, she squeezed the teacup in her hand tightly.

Why can even Ryan Walyon get along with her?
