Chapter 230: He’s My Husband
CHAPTER 230: CHAPTER 230: HE’S MY HUSBAND
She definitely didn’t want his help.
If she let him help, she probably wouldn’t have a chance to leave the bedroom all day.
Adrian Walyon’s stimulation made her body instantly straighten, and Summer Sutton straightened her back.
"I’m fine, you don’t need to worry about me! There’s something up with Ariella Sawyer, I’m going over today to check it out." Adjusting her posture, she straightened her back and left the house.
She was a bit flustered as she walked, like she was afraid that if she stayed even a second longer, Adrian Walyon would do something to her.
After such a big incident yesterday, she didn’t know how it would affect Ariella Sawyer in the entertainment industry. Summer Sutton wanted to go and see what was happening, and also get some news about Director Chapman.
As soon as she arrived at the studio, Ariella Sawyer clapped her on the shoulder, her face full of admiration, "Summer, you wouldn’t believe how impressive your husband was yesterday. Director Chapman didn’t even dare to breathe in front of him."
"Impressive or not, he’s still my husband." Summer Sutton responded plainly.
She was reminding Ariella Sawyer that Adrian Walyon was already married, so she shouldn’t be infatuated.
Of course, Ariella Sawyer knew that.
"Oh, oh, oh, so you’re not even allowing others to admire him? I get it, I get it, all the excellent men belong to someone else!" Ariella teased her for a couple of lines, then turned away to play with peeling an apple.
"Any news from Director Chapman today?" Summer Sutton looked at her and asked.
"No." Ariella Sawyer shook her head.
Actually, she was quite aware that this name might have started disappearing from the world since last night.
However, Ariella Sawyer was smart enough to know that it’s best to act like she knew nothing of it.
Summer Sutton didn’t continue questioning.
As long as it didn’t affect Ariella Sawyer’s career development.
Summer Sutton was busy in the studio all morning. At noon, Adrian Walyon called, even though it was actually because he wanted to see her, he used the excuse that he was worried she’d be bored and asked her to come over.
How could Summer Sutton possibly be bored?
While with Ariella Sawyer, even when idle, she’d find tons to learn.
Yet, after Adrian Walyon’s call, she still went over.
Leaving Ariella Sawyer’s studio, she called a car for herself, got off outside Walyon Clan Tower, and considering it was lunchtime, and Adrian Walyon probably hadn’t eaten, Summer Sutton went to a nearby restaurant to get takeout for both of them.
With large and small bags of lunch in hand, she walked along the road near the company. As she turned a corner, a car suddenly rushed toward her, nearly colliding with Summer Sutton head-on.
Summer Sutton took a few steps back, reacting quickly to avoid it, but her unsteady pace caused her to trip and fall.
The lunch she was holding fell to the ground with a thud, scattering everywhere.
Summer Sutton looked at the mess around her, just about to turn and start picking things up, when the car suddenly stopped in front of her.
A very pleasant voice came from the car, "Old Yang, how are you driving? You almost hit that young lady!"
A gentle and kind voice.
The car door opened, and a woman in her forties stepped out.
A very beautiful woman, even though past her prime, time hadn’t left much of a mark on her face.
Though middle-aged, she was even more charming and graceful.
Summer Sutton stared at her, mesmerized.
The woman was also looking at her, her gaze lingering a bit when it landed on her face.
She paused for a moment, and it was the driver’s voice that broke her concentration, "Ma’am, we still have to hurry."
The middle-aged woman ignored him and crouched down in front of Summer Sutton, looking a bit regretful at the scattered lunch, "Your lunch is all spilled! What will you do for lunch now?"
