Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 287: Liking His Stamina
CHAPTER 287: CHAPTER 287: LIKING HIS STAMINA
Summer Sutton was at a loss for words, unsure how to respond to him.
She just wanted to praise him, didn’t think too much?
Is this making things worse?
Adrian Walyon knows what kind of person she is and is very clear that Summer Sutton’s man is only him.
He stared at her bewildered expression for a while, leaned towards her, and asked casually, "Do you like my stamina?"
Summer Sutton was once again speechless, feeling as though there was an egg stuck in her throat, neither swallowing nor spitting it out.
Can she really say yes to such things?
If she says no, would he make her experience it more thoroughly until she admits she likes it?
Summer Sutton finds herself unable to nod or shake her head.
She discovers that chatting with Adrian today leads nowhere regardless of the topic.
To play it safe, she directly skips his question and heads into the water first.
"Haven’t swum in a while, heard swimming has many benefits?"
Just as she was about to start swimming, behind her, Adrian’s voice suddenly floated over, "Yeah, it strengthens the body, perfect for someone like you who can’t last more than an hour."
His words are straightforward and blunt, and Summer Sutton freezes, her face flushing hot.
"Practice more, it’s very beneficial, maybe your waist won’t ache, and your legs won’t hurt in the future, huh?" Adrian squats behind her, helping her tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.
Every word he says teases her; none of them are serious.
Summer Sutton feels awkward for quite a while, pretends not to understand him, and swims by herself.
It’s spring now, and the pool they are in is outside, in the garden, so the temperature is a bit chilly.
Summer Sutton had just started swimming when she couldn’t take it anymore.
The person who dragged Adrian here now stands up within two minutes after entering the water.
"Better not swim, there’s an exam in a few days. Going back to the room!" She wants to walk away after getting ashore but is held back by Adrian.
Without saying anything, he pulls her back into the water.
The two lean against the poolside; he holds her from behind, warming her body with his own temperature, and helps her stretch her arms, "Weren’t you looking to exercise? We haven’t even started, why leave?"
"I’ll accompany you here, whether solo or duo, I’m game!" His voice comes again from behind her, still in a teasing tone.
When he’s shameless, no one can beat him.
What’s this duo he’s talking about?
Who wants to partner up with him in this cold weather for activities in the water?
Afraid he might take actual action, Summer Sutton swims away before he can do anything else, enduring the icy water.
Her swimming skills were really taught hands-on by Adrian, and she swims fairly well now; her form is proper, and swimming a lap around the pool poses no problem.
Like a mermaid, she swims back and forth in the pool, avoiding staying near Adrian.
Afraid that if she stops, Adrian might pull her into doing something else.
Adrian folds his arms and quietly watches her swim.
He’s been there for as long as she’s been in the water.
Back in the room, Summer Sutton feels her limbs sore and not quite her own.
But there’s also a sense of satisfaction as if her body has opened up.
Adrian gets annoyed when she makes the news with other men, so when they’re back in the room, he handles all the news about her and Lruis Evans.
...
On the weekend, according to Walyon Family’s tradition, Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon both need to return.
During the meal, Summer Sutton happens to be sitting directly opposite Ryan Walyon.
While eating, the Old Master, as usual, starts inquiring about Ryan Walyon’s marriage.
