CHAPTER 301: CHAPTER 301: LAST NIGHT, YOU DRANK TOO MUCH...
Ryan Walyon is the kind of man born with a noble status, and Uncle Chapman believes no woman would refuse him.
Gina Sutton wasn’t even drinking, so even if something happened between them, it should have been consensual, right?
Ryan Walyon got so drunk that he slept straight through to midday the next day.
As he opened his eyes, a distinct fragrance of perfume enveloped his senses.
The unfamiliar scent made his brows furrow slightly.
"Morning, you’re awake!" a charming voice came from beside him.
It was as if cold water had been poured on Ryan Walyon, and his muddled mind instantly cleared up.
Turning his head, he looked coldly at Gina Sutton lying in bed, his gaze sharp, "Why are you here?"
"Don’t you remember?" Gina Sutton pulled the sheet over her bare body, her tone unhurried, "Last night you drank too much; I and the maids helped you back to your room. After the maids left to make some hangover soup, things just happened between us."
Ryan Walyon squinted his eyes, calmly recalling the events of the previous night.
He didn’t believe a single word Gina Sutton said.
He wasn’t blind to how deep this woman’s schemes ran.
However, he really had drunk too much last night, and couldn’t remember a thing about what he had done.
The atmosphere in the room was frosty.
The two stared at each other, Ryan Walyon trying hard to find any trace of falsehood on Gina Sutton’s face, yet her expression remained serene, without the slightest hint of panic.
As if what she said was indeed the truth.
They continued to face each other quietly, until suddenly, outside the room, the Old Master’s voice rang out.
"Ryan, it’s already noon, come out for lunch when you’re awake!"
Before Ryan Walyon could respond, the elderly man, perhaps concerned after waiting all morning, turned the doorknob and forcefully pushed the room door open.
Standing outside, along with Diana Wood and Ryan Walyon’s parents.
A crowd seemed to be concerned about Ryan Walyon, who had drunk too much, and all went upstairs.
As the door opened, everyone’s eyes swept across the room, and upon glimpsing Gina Sutton on the bed, were all stunned.
"Gina..." Diana Wood stared blankly at the two in bed, failing to grasp the situation at hand.
Gina Sutton quickly gathered the sheet around herself, too shy to look at the people at the door, "Last night, Ryan drank too much..."
Her words were hesitant, deliberately leaving the latter part unsaid.
But everyone understood what had happened.
The Old Master looked at Ryan Walyon incredulously, seeking confirmation.
Ryan Walyon had no recollection of the previous night.
With a cold face, he said nothing.
"Get dressed and come out!" the Old Master left these words, slammed the door shut, and led the group downstairs.
Summer Sutton was downstairs accompanying Sophie Walyon.
Seeing the Old Master descend with a dark face, her delicate brows furrowed.
Then, noticing Gina Sutton coming down several minutes later, blushing furiously, followed closely by Ryan Walyon, her heart skipped a beat, and she had a vague sense of understanding.
Unreasonably, Summer Sutton had a bad premonition.
After Ryan Walyon came downstairs, the Old Master called him for a talk.
Gina Sutton, on the other hand, sat in the living room, attended by the servants.
Probably due to what happened last night, the family servants were much more respectful towards her today, serving her as if she were the Young Madam.
In the study, the Old Master stared at Ryan Walyon with a dark face.
"What is your attitude towards Gina?"
Ryan Walyon rubbed his forehead, which was aching badly, "Grandfather, I drank too much last night."
