Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 311: Going on a Honeymoon
CHAPTER 311: CHAPTER 311: GOING ON A HONEYMOON
Adrian Walyon and Summer Sutton went to a place that was mostly frequented by families with children.
With Adrian Walyon being six feet two inches tall, sitting alongside Summer Sutton, they seemed a bit out of place.
Summer Sutton seemed oblivious to the surrounding children, confidently ordering a heap of food, even if it was all kids’ meals.
Tonight, Adrian Walyon felt a little conflicted, especially while eating, staring at a table full of fish and dishes carved into shell shapes.
"Adrian Walyon, I heard there are hotels under the sea in the Maldives. If we get a chance, let’s go there, shall we?"
As Summer Sutton was dining, she suddenly raised her face and looked at him, her eyes sparkling.
"For our honeymoon?" Adrian Walyon replied expressionlessly.
Summer Sutton was momentarily put off by him, clearing her throat and correcting earnestly, "Vacation!"
Adrian Walyon didn’t deny it.
To him, vacation and honeymoon were no different.
After all, being together meant they could do anything, anytime.
"Alright." He responded gently, urging her to finish eating.
Summer Sutton seemed to have a fondness for everything related to the sea, staying in the restaurant a bit longer.
After finishing her meal, she went on to explore a while.
Even taking selfies alone among a group of marine creatures.
Finding it dull, she pulled Adrian Walyon beside her to get him in the frame.
Adrian Walyon was the type of man never into selfies.
During the photo-taking, his expression was somewhat sour.
But once the photos were taken, looking at Summer Sutton standing close to him in the picture, his lips involuntarily curved into a smile.
Tonight, they truly seemed to be on a date!
...
By the time they left the ocean-themed restaurant, it was past nine o’clock.
Adrian Walyon initially planned to stay at the hotel, but Summer Sutton pulled him into the car, insisting he drive home.
"Let’s go home and watch a movie! Isn’t the hotel boring?"
Adrian Walyon turned his head to look at her, his gaze deep, "Why is the hotel boring? There’s plenty to do at a hotel that can be entirely different from being home!"
Summer Sutton was momentarily stunned, knowing what he meant, her face suddenly turning red.
Adrian Walyon spoke without any sense of propriety, and Summer Sutton didn’t argue the point with him.
"But I want to go home to watch a movie." She steadied her expression as if she didn’t understand what he said.
Adrian Walyon, unable to resist, could only drive her home.
To him, it didn’t really matter where they were; being at home meant everything was more convenient.
...
The Walyon Family had a dedicated home cinema, lavishly equipped with a giant screen and no other patrons to disturb them.
Adrian Walyon’s car had barely parked at the front of the house before Summer Sutton pushed him towards the interior.
Entering the movie room, they locked themselves inside, and she selected a comedy film to play.
Summer Sutton watched a romantic comedy with plenty of amusing scenes.
She didn’t have the volume too high, but when the funny parts came on, her laughter was loud.
The tinkling sound echoed from the room, audible even from a distance.
It was just past nine, still early, and nearly everyone in the house hadn’t gone to sleep, so it wouldn’t actually bother anyone.
Nonetheless, the sound reaching some ears felt particularly jarring.
Gina Sutton stood in her room, listening to the sporadic laughter from the movie room downstairs, her fingertips digging into her palm out of jealousy and breaking the skin.
She felt ruined now, wondering why Summer Sutton could laugh so joyfully?
In the movie room, Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon stayed.
Adrian Walyon hadn’t really watched from beginning to end; he was merely keeping Summer Sutton company.
