CHAPTER 316: CHAPTER 316: THE ONLY MAN IN HER EYES, ADRIAN WALYON

Summer Sutton opened the car door and sat inside, staring at the breakfast on the seat in surprise.

"Take it with you, so you can fill your stomach if you get hungry at school." Adrian Walyon stuffed the bag into her hand and slowly started the car.

Summer Sutton hadn’t expected him to be so considerate, she looked at the cake and her lips curved into a smile.

After Adrian Walyon dropped her off at school, they parted ways; one going to class, the other to the office.

Summer Sutton spent the morning attending classes at the academy. At noon, she received news that the academy would host an important lecture in the afternoon, saying the guest was a young and promising individual.

Summer Sutton was unexpectedly chosen to be the person in charge of receiving them.

"Who is coming today?" Standing at the academy entrance at two o’clock, she chatted with Zoe Baxter over the phone, "Young and promising, the only person I can think of is Adrian Walyon."

Zoe Baxter was dumbfounded by her remark and wished to knock some sense into her over the phone, "Whoa, dishing out dog food in broad daylight? Can the only man you think of really be Adrian Walyon?"

Adrian Walyon was indeed outstanding, a prime example of young talent, but there were many excellent young people across the country, even if few were as exceptional as him, others could still be successful.

"Isn’t this just a natural reaction after being together every day?" Summer Sutton defended.

"No need to explain, I know your eyes only see Adrian Walyon," Zoe Baxter teased her.

Summer Sutton was speechless at her words.

However, it seemed that this wasn’t wrong.

Since marrying Adrian Walyon, she hadn’t looked at any other men.

They chatted on the phone for a while, when outside the school gate, a black Rolls Royce slowly pulled up, seemingly with someone inside.

Zoe Baxter hadn’t yet asked when Summer Sutton’s surprised voice came through the phone, "Jimmy Evans..."

Ryan Walyon?

Was he the guest at school today?

Zoe Baxter was stunned.

Summer Sutton also didn’t anticipate that the speaker in the afternoon would be Ryan Walyon. She stood outside the school gate, staring at Ryan Walyon as he stepped out of the car for quite a while before leading him into the campus.

"I’m arranged by the school to receive you, the dean was afraid you were unfamiliar with the school environment and asked me to guide you!"

Summer Sutton said as she walked.

"Really? There are still two hours until the lecture starts, how about you take me around?" Ryan Walyon smiled.

"Sure, I’m free right now." Summer Sutton walked to the nearby beverage shop, buying herself and him each a cup of lime tea.

They strolled along the campus road with drinks in hand, Summer Sutton asked, "By the way, how did you get invited by the academy?"

"The Walyon Family has always sponsored the school, and I received a call from the dean yesterday. After hearing his request, I agreed," Ryan Walyon explained.

"I see!" Summer Sutton didn’t ask further.

Compared to other successful individuals who’ve lectured at the Film Academy, he wasn’t the first.

The weather was a bit hot today, with the early summer sun in Northtown already blazing.

After walking amidst the fragrant camphor trees on the campus road for just a short while, sweat was already trickling down Summer Sutton’s forehead.

As she raised her hand to wipe it, an exceptionally elegant hand reached out beside her, handing her a handkerchief.

Nowadays, not many people in the country use handkerchiefs.

Summer Sutton always felt that those who carried a handkerchief around were particularly gentlemanly, like aristocrats walking out of the United Kingdom.

She was momentarily stunned and forgot to take it.
