CHAPTER 34: CHAPTER 34: SHE IS THE ONLY WOMAN I WILL MARRY

What so-called childhood engagement, what decision made by the elders of the two families, she couldn’t understand at all!

Today, Adrian Walyon not only dropped a bombshell on the crowd but also left Summer Sutton’s mind in complete chaos.

Before coming here with Adrian, she was completely in the mindset of a bystander.

But unexpectedly, upon arriving here, she got dragged into it as well.

Adrian’s cold gaze swept lightly across the crowd and then threw another bombshell at them.

"Our Walyon Family has always been one to honor promises. The engagement arranged with the Sutton Family will not be reconsidered. Since we have gotten engaged tonight in front of everyone, Summer is the only woman I will marry in this life. Our wedding will be held in four months!"

His words were a reminder to the Walyons to keep their promise, while also killing Gina Sutton’s hopes of marrying into the Walyon Family.

Gina appeared significantly shocked, her expression turning so unpleasant she was almost in tears.

The only woman he would marry in this life...

Is he leaving no hope at all for any woman other than Summer Sutton?

She has always been good at maintaining her facade before outsiders, but with each bombshell Adrian dropped, Gina was having trouble managing her expression.

Summer Sutton was also not spared from the shock.

She hadn’t even figured out what was happening tonight.

Her gaze slowly moved through the scene and across the crowd; she saw Gina Sutton not far away.

Seeing Gina, meticulously dressed and looking more like the protagonist of the night, Summer was momentarily stunned.

Gina appeared as though she had suffered a great grievance, constantly restraining herself.

Even the couple beside her, William Sutton and his wife, had faces that were terribly upset.

Looking at this family of three, Summer seemed to understand something.

Adrian had said that bringing her here tonight was to let her watch a show.

The show he spoke of was probably meant for the Sutton family, wasn’t it?

It was clear that tonight’s banquet was not prepared for her and Adrian.

If it were, her presence wouldn’t have been such a surprise to the Walyons.

The Walyons originally intended for Adrian to marry Gina, didn’t they?

But Adrian wasn’t willing.

To let Summer see the Suttons’ disgruntled faces was indeed a marvelous show tonight.

Yet Summer couldn’t feel even the slightest bit of joy.

She did witness a good show here, but she also got herself involved.

With Adrian announcing their engagement in front of so many people, what was she supposed to do now?

Adrian seemed to be in quite a good mood tonight. Turning his gaze to the Old Master behind him, he smiled slightly, "Grandpa, you have no objections to my arrangements, right?"

Old Master Walyon took quite a few shocks tonight, his mind somewhat muddled at this point.

In such a setting tonight, Adrian suddenly bringing back someone like Summer Sutton was entirely unexpected for Old Master Walyon.

It was clear he was here to disrupt things, but this disruption left Old Master Walyon with nowhere to vent his frustration.

No matter how inappropriate it seemed for Summer to be here, she bore the Sutton name, after all. She was one of them!

Adrian fulfilling the initial agreement between the two families to marry her wasn’t wrong.

With Adrian saying everything, what else could Old Master Walyon say in front of so many people?

Old Master Walyon looked at Adrian, annoyed, "What can I object to?"

Even if he had objections, did this kid give him any chance tonight with such flawless arrangements?
