CHAPTER 442: CHAPTER 442: A WEDDING OF EARTH-SHATTERING PROPORTIONS (3)
Gina Sutton glared at him angrily, wanting to get up and slap him.
Your mouth is truly filthy!
The man ignored her furious glare and continued with his sarcastic remarks, "If Summer Sutton could actually command me, would you still have had the chance to frame her and force her out of the Walyon Family? I really worry about your intelligence."
Leaning down, he looked at her and continued to mock, "Is it the case that whenever you suffer any loss, you always shift the blame to Summer Sutton? In the Second Young Miss Sutton’s understanding, does everyone in the entire world except the three of you in the Sutton Family side with Summer Sutton?
Gina Sutton was only guessing; she knew the possibility was slim.
She only asked to verify.
"What is your intention?" Raising her face to meet the man’s gaze, she started negotiating terms, "Name your price—how much do you want? As long as you disappear and never appear in my life again, I can give you!"
"Does the Second Young Miss Sutton think I look like someone who needs money?" The man adjusted his Gucci suit, expressing worry for her intelligence once more.
Just the suit on him looked valuable, not to mention the watch.
Clearly, this man did not lack money.
"Then what do you really want? As long as you disappear immediately, I can agree to anything!" Gina Sutton looked at him coldly, her attitude resolute.
The man circled around her, speaking slowly and deliberately, "The Second Young Miss Sutton has committed so many heinous acts. Do you think if I disappear, you’ll live at ease in the Walyon Family? What about that child you intentionally miscarried, or your cousin forced out of the Walyon Family because of you—doesn’t your conscience hurt, Miss Sutton? Do you dream of that child calling you innocent? When you hear other children call out ’mom,’ do you feel any guilt at all?"
The thing Gina Sutton feared most was him bringing up the topic of children, so she covered her ears, loudly interrupting him, "Stop it! Stop it! What do you really want? How can you let me go?"
She yelled so loudly that echoes resonated throughout the entire waiting room.
The room suddenly fell silent.
So silent, it was somewhat terrifying.
Gina Sutton, with her eyes closed, kept yelling at herself, and as she continued, she even burst into tears, "Get out! Get out of here! I don’t want to see you! Everything is in the past, why can’t you stand seeing me live well? Why? Boohoo..."
The clock on the wall of the waiting room ticked away, with the hour and minute hands already pointing to twelve o’clock precisely.
The time for the wedding ceremony had arrived.
Gina Sutton seemed to have forgotten about this, her hands covering her ears, crying bitterly.
The man in the room hadn’t spoken for quite a while.
Immersed in her own pain, Gina Sutton still didn’t notice anything unusual.
Until Betty Chapman’s voice suddenly rang out from outside the door, "Old Master, why are you here? Why didn’t you come in!"
The abrupt voice startled Gina Sutton.
Her face shot up abruptly, stiffly looking at the elderly gentleman standing by the door, her complexion instantly drained of color.
Her body trembled violently as she saw the Old Master’s expressions, more frightening than seeing a ghost, even her voice quivered, "G-Grandfather, when did you arrive?"
"I’ve been here for quite a while." The Old Master clasped his hands behind his back, his gaze coldly fixed on her face, his eyes sharp as daggers.
