Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!
Chapter 48: These Two, So Intense
CHAPTER 48: CHAPTER 48: THESE TWO, SO INTENSE
Sophie Walyon watched the two of them and couldn’t help but click her tongue.
Their lives are really intense!
Summer Sutton was in a rush to get to class. She barely had time, so she quickly drank a little porridge, grabbed her book, and headed out the door, "I’m off to school first!"
"I’ll take you," Adrian Walyon put down his half-eaten bread and stood up.
Walking ahead, he led her to the front door.
Summer Sutton watched him leave, somewhat surprised.
Isn’t he late for work? Why isn’t he in a hurry to go to the company?
"My brother came back just to take you!" Sophie Walyon noticed her confusion and kindly clarified.
Summer Sutton was stunned again.
"Really, I’m not lying. With such little time, if it weren’t for taking you, what else would he come back for?" Sophie Walyon patted her chest in assurance.
Summer Sutton thought seriously for a moment, and apart from this reason, she really couldn’t think of another logical explanation.
Ever since she moved in with Adrian Walyon, he had never once missed picking her up and dropping her off between school and the villa every day.
Summer Sutton leisurely followed him out, opened the car door, and got in. She couldn’t help but glance at Adrian Walyon a few more times.
Who knew he was so thoughtful!
"Just realized I’m good-looking?" Adrian Walyon furrowed his brow and slowly turned his handsome face.
Summer Sutton snapped back, and after a few seconds of awkwardness, she flattered him based on his words, "What are you talking about? Young Master Walyon, you’ve always had the aura of a king, radiating such charm that it’s simply infuriatingly handsome!"
Adrian Walyon knew she was buttering him up but wasn’t the least bit ashamed, "That’s something anyone with functioning eyes can see."
Summer Sutton rolled her eyes.
When it comes to thick skin, if Adrian Walyon claims to be number two, no one would dare claim first!
Adrian Walyon drove on nonchalantly, not showing a hint of expression the entire time.
After dropping her off at school, he finally went to the company.
Summer Sutton spent the day at school shooting a short film.
After class in the afternoon, she initially wanted to call Adrian Walyon but hesitated when she thought about what they hadn’t finished last night.
Quickly putting her phone away, Summer Sutton decided to stay at school tonight.
After taking her books back to the dormitory, planning to eat with Zoe Baxter first, Adrian Walyon called.
"Where are you?" His words were, as usual, concise.
Summer Sutton took a deep breath, gathering her courage, "I’m already back at the dormitory."
"Dormitory?" Adrian Walyon slowly repeated the word she said.
"There’s a class early tomorrow, so I’m sleeping at school tonight. No need to pick me up. That’s it, hanging up now." Afraid he’d get angry over the phone, she quickly hung up.
"Who was that?" Zoe Baxter leaned over, glanced at her phone, and asked.
"Nothing, let’s go!" Summer Sutton composed herself and headed to the dining hall with her.
While eating, the phone rang several more times.
Summer Sutton knew without looking that it was Adrian calling.
Her heart skipped and thumped with panic, making the meal taste far from enjoyable.
Where is he now?
Would he come directly to the girls’ dormitory to catch her like before?
Thinking of this, Summer Sutton somewhat regretted not returning.
But since she was already staying at school and had upset him, it wouldn’t make sense to go back to him now.
Ignoring the phone, Summer Sutton returned to the dormitory after dinner.
She read for a while, and at around eight in the evening, a classmate’s voice came from outside, "Summer Sutton, someone is looking for you downstairs!"
Summer Sutton’s heart pounded.
