CHAPTER 49: CHAPTER 49: THE BLESSING FROM ANCESTORS’ INCENSE
No need to guess, she already knew, it must be Adrian Walyon coming.
Standing anxiously on the balcony, she glanced towards the dormitory entrance, pondering whether to go down or not.
If she went down, she would definitely meet a bad end.
If she didn’t go down, and Adrian came up by himself, it seemed like she wouldn’t fare well either.
Summer Sutton was in a dilemma in the dormitory for a long time but couldn’t come to a decision when a commotion arose in the corridor.
Before she could regain her composure, a startled "wow" came from the doorway.
It was Iris Watson’s voice, one of Summer Sutton’s roommates.
It seemed like she was shocked by something.
Summer Sutton stiffly turned her head to see the person standing at the door, and her face turned pale instantly.
Adrian Walyon’s tall figure was at the dormitory entrance, his handsome face cold and solemn, and his gaze chilly as he stared at her.
A lot of girls gathered behind him, partly due to his overly outstanding appearance and partly because no man had ever entered the girls’ dormitory before, all eyes were fixed on him.
"So handsome!"
"Is this the person rumored to be with Summer Sutton? I didn’t expect him to be so handsome up close!"
"Yes, and so young! How blessed must Summer Sutton’s ancestors have been to have such a man’s favor?"
The people around started whispering.
Summer Sutton didn’t expect him to come up so quickly and was quite startled.
"Summer, he’s here for you!" Zoe Baxter reminded her.
Coming to her senses, Summer Sutton took a few steps towards Adrian Walyon, and without a word, pushed him to go downstairs, "This is school, whatever you have to say, we’ll say it later!"
Adrian Walyon was a full twenty-two centimeters taller than her, taller and naturally heavier. When he didn’t cooperate, Summer Sutton found it quite difficult to push him.
After pushing a few times without success, she switched to pulling.
However, Adrian Walyon still stood there unmoved.
With so many people watching them, Summer Sutton became anxious, not knowing what to do for a moment.
As the two were in a stalemate, perhaps due to the commotion caused by Adrian’s arrival, the dorm supervisor appeared.
Seeing Adrian surrounded by a large crowd, the dorm supervisor took a deep breath and with hands on her hips, yelled harshly at Summer Sutton, "Bringing a man into the dorm once was enough, but daring to break the rules a second time, Summer Sutton, starting tomorrow, you’ll clean the dormitory building for a week! Plus a ten-point demerit!"
She shouted fiercely and glared at the two, waiting for Adrian to leave.
Summer Sutton felt aggrieved, with grievances she couldn’t express.
"Auntie, I know I was wrong, I’ll take him away right now!" Fearing Adrian would not leave and she would get even more demerits, she forcibly pushed and pulled him out of the girls’ dormitory.
Once outside, she kept her head down, walking quickly.
As if afraid people would realize she had a connection with the man beside her.
Once in the car, Adrian’s car sped off loudly, racing through the night, and after about twenty minutes, he parked outside a villa.
Adrian was the first to get out, slamming the door as he went inside, "Follow!"
Summer Sutton was forced to follow behind him inside.
When they reached the living room, Adrian stood in the center, waiting for her.
His facial muscles were tightly drawn, and the gaze he fixed on Summer Sutton was icy, like a wind filled with icy shards, making the skin on her face ache.
"How many calls have I made?" he asked with a cold face.
"I left my phone in the dorm, I was outside, and didn’t hear it," Summer Sutton offered a hasty excuse.
"And when you got back?" Adrian pressed.
