CHAPTER 63: CHAPTER 63: NEW RANK - CHANGE OF PARADIGM PART 3.

Evennette’s disconsolated sobs are watched and heard by her Floormates, reverberating in the room arranged for them in the Fraternity’s Mansion.

However, the damsels do not understand why she is Evennette in such deplorable and disheveled state.

Her hair is a mess, her light makeup ruined with tears rolling down her cheeks, the black eyeliner dissolved, reaching the grimy stains on the female’s mouth.

The vomit remains being relatively fresh, and the disgusting odor is too noticeable to ignore.

Even so, N’Ïrk is unaffected by such triviality, continuing his silent and diligent attendance, truly invested in assuring and reassuring the downcast, traumatized maiden.

«What happened to her?». The question isn’t uttered by any of the ladies. But it’s not necessary. Their expressions of concern and doubt are more convincing and direct than any phrase could muster.

Saili’Ïckn is no different from the others in such regard, but looking at the people in the room, it is clear that there is one person missing.

"Where is Parmella?". Inquires warily the heterochromic beauty, unaware of the bad reaction she will provoke in Evennette. Who is terrified upon hearing the name, crying even more intensely, losing control of her body, unable to contain her puke, vomiting and soiling N’Ïrk’s chest.

He is unfazed, telling the truth without hesitation."Parmella is dead. Dissolved in a mass of fluids".

"That can’t be!". Interrupts Saili’Ïckn. "Her regeneration!...".

"Useless". N’Ïrk flatly highlights with densified will and cold heart stone. Although when he metaphorically reforged his organ, it evolve into an armored heart, which might be more adequate, as most stones are worthless while facing Empiric Energy.

"Is there a shower in this place?". N’Ïrk asks. Disregarding Parmella’s death, an attitude that displeases some of the ladies, believing that if it had been them, N’Ïrk would have the same relaxed nonchalant bearing.

An understandable and unfounded mistake that is based solely on what they are seeing and experiencing at the moment, rather than what they have seen from the young man until now.

Nevertheless. Since he is unable do anything about the ongoing situation. He focuses on what «He can do», rather than in the «Ifs» or «Coulds» that many pry in what something doesn’t go as they want or expect.

He didn’t kill Parmella. No one else did. It was the young woman’s own weakness what lead her to her own demise.

What else could N’Ïrk have done?. The question lingers, but if he had hesitated for even a second, it could have cost him his own life, along Otzzana’s, Æ’Vérrya’s and Evennette’s.

The knocking on the door alerts the group, everyone is on the edge of snapping into a kiltering frenzy. Which is why they keep their guards up.

After all. Everyone is partially or severely injured, mentally exhausted, physically tired and emotionally devastated, as their efforts with Empiric Energy have been greatly decimated, in addition to losing a Floormate.

Although Parmella wasn’t very talkative, she lacked firmness and was very cowardly. She was also kind, helpful, and calm. A nice companion to hang with, and her cute fearful gaze was strangely attractive.

Another knock resounds on the wood of the door, and Kûrjhainne opens it, under the visual command of Æ’Vérrya.

Norlan and Myrrha enter in the room. Both are immediately startled by what theh are seeing. Hát’Thöry is barely regaining her conciseness, while N’Ïrk’s attention appears to be lost in consoling Evennette, and Æ’Vérrya is pretty much ready to dismember anyone who dares to be near her «Sleeping» Sister Å’Vría.

"I don’t pretend to sound too insensitive about what you are going through". Says the «Landowner» with firm seriousness and relentless conviction. "But i will. Æ’Vérrya, N’Ïrk. I need you two to be ready in twenty minutes, half an hour at most. We have an urgent reunion with the Headmistress. The same goes for you Hát’Thöry".

"You are forgetting to address us with our Titles Landowner Norlan?". Says the Treasurer, who is rapidly corrected by the «Kind» Leader of the Preppers Fraternity.

"I am not a Landowner anymore Hát’Thöry. The same goes for you as a Foreman. Or do you have at least more than 75 Storage Capacity?. If the answer is «No». Then you are not even «Dirt». For your information. I am a «Seed» (More than 150 Storage Capacity)".

"So the Ranks in the Fraternity hadn’t change?".

"Correct Hát’Thöry". Acknowledges the Ex Landowner. "That is why you are here in this big, but single Chamber with all of them. But if you don’t like this arrangement. You can leave the Fraternity. Or go to another room. But considering everyone is weakened. Are you really willing to take your chances with either of the two options?".

Hát’Thöry doesn’t respond. Endanger herself is stupid, so she simply covers her marvelous breasts with her left hand, glancing at Myrrha, and noticing that her female friend is carrying clean clothes for her, and for the other two Ex Foremen.

"N’Ïrk. Did you listened to what i said?". Asks Norlan to the young man that is sullied with vomit, absorbed on gently caress Evennette, to comfort her. "I did heard you Seed Norlan. Since we don’t have a Rank. I suppose we have to share this room with eleven people. Am i correct?.

"That is the case N’Ïrk. But you still have adjacent «Commodities». A small kitchen, a big empty wardrobe, and a decently large bathroom".

{How subtle. Norlan is giving us preferential treatment without being too obvious about it}

"We will be ready". Comments N’Ïrk as he walks to the bathroom that Norlan pointed out a mere second ago.

"Indayra, Vluk’Shïan and Kûrjhainne. Kill anyone who dares to step in the room. No exceptions until i tell you otherwise. That means no friendly visits, from anyone, and do not go out. I’ll visit the Mall and bring clothes along basic needs for us after this Reunion with the Headmistress. If the situation is calmer. Tomorrow after our lessons, we will head «TOGETHER» to the Mall. I doubt our schedule will be interrupted or altered, by whatever happened this day"...
