In the aftermath of Nolan's death, Harvey and Quincy had cleverly turned the situation to their advantage.

While Vera was still mourning, they manipulated her into signing documents that transferred Nolan's shares to Quincy's son, Franklin.

Vera, having never been involved in the group's activities, remained blissfully unaware of their deception.
