Chapter 976: Chapter 412: Ambush (Six-in-One)
“Big brother, I didn’t lie to you, we really were ambushing the Holy Army. It’s all a misunderstanding, purely a misunderstanding.”
Shajialu quickly assured Su Ming and the others, seeing they seemed skeptical.
“Who are you trying to fool? The Holy Army is dirt poor, and you interstellar pirates are wasting time ambushing them? Don’t tell me you’re working for the Dark Star Empire now? I won’t believe those lies.”
Su Ming remembered clearly that this group initially mistook them for the Imperial Army.
“Big brother, normally we are indeed too lazy to rob the Holy Army. But things are different now; the Holy Army has struck it rich.”
Shajialu quickly explained.
“Rich, how rich?”
Su Ming asked, puzzled.
In his impression, the Holy Army was as poor as can be; how could they suddenly be wealthy?
“I don’t know either, seems like they found some kind of treasure.”
Shajialu replied with a somewhat evasive look.
Su Ming and the others were stunned upon hearing Shajialu’s words.
Being so close to the treasure location, if the Holy Army found a treasure, could they have dug up their treasure?
Thinking of this, Su Ming and his companions all looked at Shajialu with unfriendly eyes.
“L-lads, I’m telling the truth, I’m not lying to you!”
Seeing their eyes, Shajialu was nearly scared to wet himself.
“Speak, what kind of treasure?”
Su Ming asked aggressively.
“I don’t know.”
Shajialu stammered.
“Don’t know, then you’re useless. Rhein, drag him away, chop him up fine for fertilizer.”
Su Ming gestured to Rhein.
“Alright!”
Rhein did not hesitate and stepped forward immediately.
“I was wrong, I’ll confess!”
Shajialu collapsed in submission without any dignity.
“Speak, but you’d better think carefully; you only get one chance.”
Su Ming unsheathed the Blade of Divine Punishment from his waist and warned with a sinister smile.
“The Holy Army discovered a batch of very high-grade purple Energy Crystals in the Dark Forest, exceedingly valuable! This intel was leaked when someone internally tried to sell it. Lord Krisa led us to besiege and seize it! But those Holy Army guys are as slippery as eels; when they couldn’t beat us, they hid away. We’re searching everywhere for them now.”
Shajialu shivered and then confessed everything in one breath.
Upon hearing Shajialu, Su Ming’s anxieties eased; thankfully, the treasure discovered by the Holy Army was not theirs.
“Boss, what should we do next?”
Rhein asked hesitantly.
Su Ming stroked his chin in thought; being so close to the treasure point, letting the Black Shark Pirates be active nearby could lead to trouble.
Also, the Holy Army had helped them before, so they owed them.
Thinking of this, Su Ming spoke to the group.
“I think this bunch of interstellar pirates is a nuisance; we should clear them out.”
“I agree, they’re an unstable factor.”
“Exactly! Get rid of them.”
…
Rhein and the others shouted enthusiastically.
Hearing this, Shajialu looked at Su Ming and his people in terror; these were ruthless guys who wanted to take them out at a mere disagreement.
At this point, Su Ming turned his gaze to Shajialu.
“What, what are you going to do? You can’t kill us, we had a deal.”
“Don’t worry, I won’t kill you. It depends on how you cooperate with us next.”
“What do you want me to do?”
Shajialu grew increasingly nervous.
“Hehe.”
Su Ming and the others grinned evilly.

—————————————————
In the pitch-black starry sky.
Clusters of Level 4 Battleships hovered in a scattered formation.
At the center of the fleet floated a Level 5 Mother Ship·Evil Fang, 270 kilometers long, its prow painted with a massive blood-red one-eyed skull, adorned with clusters of human head-made ornaments. The wide hull was illustrated with twisted, gory designs, with transparent windows open, and its top densely packed with numerous launch ports and Interception Cannons.
Through the windows, interstellar pirates were visible, shirts off, tattoos over their bodies, faces full of muscle, eating meat and drinking wine, indulging in revelry and laughter. Pirates gathered to watch companions battling on the fight stage, shouting excitedly.
Additionally, there were rough mechanical factories with strong men making weapon parts.
The interior of the mother ship was extremely lively.
Now in the mother ship’s prison.
Two lean young men were tied to interrogation racks.
Smack!
An imposing pirate, fierce-eyed, whipped hard at the first young man!
“Uda, will you talk or not?”
“Ah! Kill me and I still don’t know!”
Uda screamed miserably.
“A tough mouth, let’s see how long you last.”
The pirate whipped more furiously out of anger.
“I really don’t know, what do you want me to say? And even if I did, they wouldn’t still be there; they’d have run off long ago!”
Uda sobbed and replied.
The pirate paused at Uda’s words, then walked to the second young man, whipped him, and angrily interrogated.
“Eck, I’m giving you one last chance, where’s the Holy Army hiding?”
“I won’t say, beat me to death and I still won’t say.”
Eck gritted his teeth, holding firm.
“You’re looking to die!”
The pirate was instantly enraged, whipping even more viciously.
At this moment, several large men wearing colorful clothes and headscarves walked over, calling out.
