But this is only for ordinary people.

In the hands of Ghost Doctor Nowhere, it’s just a common operation, nothing special.

"I can’t wait any longer, if I don’t speak now, I’m afraid I won’t have the chance," Old Master North called Lawyer Zane standing by.

The latter nodded and handed a document to Raina North.

"Young lady, this is what the master left for you..."

Lawyer Zane had just opened his mouth when the door suddenly swung open, and a crowd of people rushed in from outside.

Raina North’s gaze swept across, every single member of the North Family’s three branches was present.

"Dad, I heard you called Lawyer Zane over. What are you doing? Didn’t the doctor say you should rest and not think about anything?"

Gideon North had been waiting for Elias Hawthorne and Raina North, but was informed that only Raina returned, leaving him displeased. His few good brothers also came rushing back upon hearing the news from who knows where.

"Do I need your permission for what I want to do?"

Old Master North’s eyes widened, his body trembling with excitement.

"It’s not like that, Dad..."

Old Master North coldly snorted, his slightly cloudy eyes sweeping across the assembled group.

"Since you’re all here, there’s no need for me to call one by one. I’ll take the opportunity while I still have breath to settle things behind, so you won’t have to rush back and forth, delaying your work whenever there’s a stir."

"Dad, what do you mean? We’re just concerned about you."

Old Master North sneered, not replying, "Lawyer Zane, you speak."

"Master has under his name cash... jewelry... real estate..." Lawyer Zane took out a list and reported all the assets under the master’s name, essentially divided equally amongst everyone.

Everyone listened, although there were some minor discontents, overall there were no major discrepancies, and even if there were small ones, it wasn’t a big issue.

"What about the company?"

This is the question everyone cares about.

Who will inherit Northwind.

The North Family’s second brother Gareth North glanced at his elder brother. Though his elder brother was the eldest, in terms of ability, their branch was clearly stronger.

"Second brother, is this even a question? Of course, the company should be handed to our Gideon. He’s the eldest son, after Dad fell ill, your elder brother has been handling all the company’s affairs," Brenda Adler refuted sharply. After all, the North Family would belong to her daughter Claire in the future, and no one should think of taking it away.

"Sister-in-law, I’m not trying to take the company from elder brother, but sister-in-law and elder brother only have Claire, and Claire, well, she’s a girl, not good at managing, and soon she’ll be marrying into the Shelby Family; we have to plan for the future, don’t you think?"

Gareth North said smilingly, as the only one within the North Family’s three branches with a son, he couldn’t contend with his elder brother, but his son could.

Brenda: "What’s wrong with a girl? Dad personally said before that Northwind would be given to my Claire in the future. Don’t forget who the North Family owes its current success to."

"Sister-in-law, when Dad said that, he was referring to Raina, not Claire," Aunt North, Shirley North reminded, though that was before the real and fake heir incident had been exposed.

Suddenly, Raina North found herself receiving a mix of calculating gazes.

Some were jealous, some wary, some hateful, and some schadenfreude...

Raina North froze for a moment, suddenly realizing why upon her return, everyone had gathered here.

"All shut up!" Old Master North snapped coldly, "Lawyer Zane, continue."

"...Master has sixty-one percent of Northwind’s shares under his name, with ten percent allocated to each of the three branches, the remaining shares are inherited by granddaughter Raina North..."
