Raina North’s stern and vehement words made Evelyn Xavier’s aura weaken, her face pale, and reminded her of the fear she felt facing Raina earlier.

Such a Raina was unfamiliar to her, as if she was no longer the discarded daughter of the North Family, but a true heiress... No, not an heiress, but a queen ruling her throne.

Claire North didn’t miss Evelyn Xavier’s slightly trembling body and felt full of disdain inside, yet her face remained gently smiling: "Alright, let’s all speak calmly, we’re family after all."

Evelyn Xavier retorted defiantly, "Who considers this woman family!"

"Evelyn!" Claire North scolded, glaring at her, then turned to look at Claire: "Sister, you haven’t studied business management, nor do you understand pharmaceuticals. Holding onto the shares doesn’t help you. How about this? I’ll buy those shares. A million, how do you see that?"

"Ha!" Raina North let out a cold laugh: "With a million, you want to buy 31% of Northwind’s shares, Claire North, who do you take for a fool?"

"If sister isn’t satisfied with the price, I can increase it, one and a half million... no, two million? I really don’t have any more, sister, please let them go for me."

Claire North looked at her imploringly.

Raina North sneered: "Claire North, I am particularly curious, just how much of an idiot I am in your eyes."

"Sister..."

Raina North raised her hand, stopping Claire North from continuing: "I won’t sell. Whatever you say will not change my mind."

"Raina North, don’t be too excessive! Those are Claire’s things! She’s willing to give you two million already, what more do you want!"

"Since they’re her things, why negotiate with me? Could it be I could prevent her as the owner from taking her own items?"

Raina North was extremely annoyed with Evelyn Xavier. She truly couldn’t understand how they grew up together and yet became such a bizarre being.

But when she thought about it again, it made sense that she mixed well with Claire North, indeed, birds of a feather flock together.

"Raina North, you’re being so over-the-top!" Evelyn Xavier screamed in anger.

"What’s wrong?" A deep voice suddenly sounded.

Beau Shelby approached, placing a shawl on Claire North’s shoulders: "It just rained, the temperature is low, be careful not to catch cold."

Beau Shelby gently touched Claire North’s hair, full of doting affection.

Raina North watched coldly from the side; time truly is the greatest magician, over the years, she cared no more.

Evelyn Xavier thought Raina North still cared, and immediately trembled: "Beau, if you hadn’t come, Claire would’ve been bullied to death by this woman!"

Beau Shelby turned his gaze over, and when he saw Raina North’s indifferent face, his eyes froze involuntarily.

Previously, Raina North was undoubtedly beautiful too, but her beauty was gentle and caring, not bad, yet good in a commonplace way, like all girls from large families.

But now it’s different, as she stood there aloof, like a thorny rose, despite the potential to get hurt, it incites a stronger desire to pluck from the branch.

By the side, Claire North noticed the surprise and interest flickering in Beau Shelby’s eyes, and felt both resentful and hateful.

"Forget it, since Sister is unwilling, I won’t force it, Beau let’s go."

"Go? Why leave? Claire do you really want to give up?" Evelyn Xavier straightforwardly told Beau Shelby: "Beau, look Raina insists on grabbing Claire’s shares! Claire already agreed to give her two million, yet she’s still relentless, it’s truly excessive."
