CHAPTER 653: CHAPTER 653: AFRAID YOUR HAND WILL HURT (1)

Raina North originally didn’t want to bother, but couldn’t control her itch to pick up the phone.

It was Pip Finch calling: "Orion, when are you coming back? The guys in the Alliance can’t wait any longer to drink the celebratory wine with you. I’m almost getting annoyed to death by them."

Raina slapped her forehead, suddenly remembering that before she went to attend the meeting with the Lord of the Dark Tower, she had promised the brothers in the Alliance that if she came back safely, she would drink with everyone in celebration until they all passed out.

"Tell the brothers in the Alliance that I remember this drinking session. Make sure everyone enjoys themselves."

Pip Finch made a quick decision: "Then let’s do it today. The brothers can’t wait any longer. I’ll have people start preparing right away."

"Wait a minute!" Raina hurriedly stopped him, hesitating for a moment before speaking: "Is that someone still in The Celestial Alliance?"

"Who?" Pip Finch asked with a puzzled face: "Orion, who are you talking about?"

"The Lord of the Dark Tower."

"Oh him, he left a while ago. The Lord of the Dark Tower is so busy, he couldn’t possibly stick around at our Celestial Alliance for long."

Raina was momentarily stunned, he left?

She had initially thought Elias Hawthorne would refuse to leave without seeing her, but she realized she had overthought it.

Raina could understand though, just like Pip Finch said, with so much happening at The Dark Tower, him investing so much effort to find her was already quite a feat.

"Orion, is there anything else you need?"

Raina gathered her wandering thoughts: "No, nothing else."

"Then I’ll get things ready. Orion, hurry back." With that, he hung up the phone hurriedly.

"This guy! Besides fighting, drinking is the only thing that excites him so much," Raina couldn’t help but laugh and curse.

She hesitated for a moment but ultimately left The Crimson Blade Hall.

Since Elias Hawthorne was no longer around, she had to hurry back to check things. Although the situation at The Celestial Alliance had improved, it was still chaotic inside and couldn’t be taken lightly.

By the time Raina rushed back to The Celestial Alliance, Pip Finch had already gathered people to set up tables in the square in front of the Alliance headquarters, filled with good wine and food.

All the brothers who could make it back to The Celestial Alliance were there.

The place was teeming with people and the noise was deafening.

When they saw Raina appear, the atmosphere instantly reached its peak.

"Hail the Alliance Hierarch!"

"Hail the Alliance Hierarch!"

Thousands shouted in unison, the momentum was earth-shattering, and it made one’s blood boil.

Raina stood on the podium, raised her hand to signal for silence, and only when everyone quieted down did she say: "The reason The Celestial Alliance is where it is today is because of everyone’s efforts. Every brother in our Celestial Alliance is mighty!"

She poured a glass of wine and raised it: "To everyone!"

Then, she downed it in one gulp.

"To the Alliance Hierarch!"

Everyone raised their glasses in unison and drank them in one go.

Raina couldn’t help but accompany with another drink.

Pip Finch, seeing this scene, was beyond excited, shouting: "Orion, your achievements this time are outstanding, I want to toast to you."

With that, he downed his drink first.

"Come on, Orion, have a drink too."

Raina didn’t refuse and had another glass.

"Orion, you’re amazing! Having an Alliance Hierarch like you is a blessing for all of us! Come on, everyone line up and toast to the Alliance Hierarch one by one!"

Raina: "..."

Seeing Pip Finch roaring energetically and charging towards her, Raina made a hasty retreat.

Having everyone toast one glass each, she’d probably drink herself to death.

Pip Finch watched Raina flee hastily, hands on his hips laughing heartily.

Raina turned around and, seeing that cocky look of his, couldn’t help but think, This brat, I’ll deal with him tomorrow!

Even though Raina left quickly, Pip Finch still managed to make her drink two glasses. The drinking glasses were large to begin with, and she drank in a rush. Since her drinking capacity was average, the wind blew, making her head dizzy.

Raina shook her head vigorously, stumbling back to her room.

Inside the room, only a small sconce was lit, the light dim enough to barely make out the path.
