Raina casually waved her hand, got down from the bed, and went to the bathroom.

Pip Finch had been crouching by the room door since early morning. Yesterday, the Lord of the Dark Tower agreed to spar with Lord Drake daily. Just thinking about such an important matter not being completely settled yet, Pip Finch couldn’t rest easy.

Originally, he thought he’d have to wait outside the door until late morning, but unexpectedly the door opened in just a short while.

Seeing the man walking out from the room, Pip Finch was a bit surprised, "Lord of the Dark Tower, so early?"

"Yeah, Leo has business to attend to later."

Pip Finch instantly understood. The Lord of the Dark Tower got booted out by Orion.

Pip Finch sympathetically looked at Elias Hawthorne. No matter how formidable this Lord of the Dark Tower was outside, he had to tread carefully around Orion.

Poor, poor Elias.

Out of a very subtle sympathy and deep concern that Orion might doom himself, Pip Finch suddenly became very friendly towards Elias Hawthorne.

He not only passionately introduced their Celestial Alliance but also sneakily said all sorts of good things about Orion.

Pip Finch let out a long sigh.

He had no other choice. As brotherhood dictates, he couldn’t just watch Orion one day crash and burn.

Even if a crash was inevitable, he’d make sure the Lord of the Dark Tower remembered some good things about Orion.

This way, there might be a chance to maintain some goodwill and at least save Orion’s life.

Pip Finch sighed again with mixed emotions; it was just too difficult for him.

Pip Finch’s thoughts were written all over his face, and Elias Hawthorne noticed them immediately, tactfully winning Pip’s favor.

No choice, Raina was just too elusive and always surprised him, yet he wasn’t willing to actually confine her. The only option was to win over everyone around her, creating a world for her filled with him, until she got used to it and wouldn’t want to leave.

With Elias Hawthorne’s abilities, winning over Pip Finch was an easy task.

Even in just a short walk, Pip Finch was ready to sacrifice everything for Elias Hawthorne.

"Take care, come back tonight," Pip Finch shouted with enthusiasm as Elias Hawthorne got into the car.

Turning his head, Pip saw Lune standing at the door.

Pip Finch hurried over excitedly, "Lune, you have no idea, Orion’s eye for this is amazing! He actually managed to get the Lord of the Dark Tower into his circle. I’ll talk to Orion properly later, make sure he treasures him, or else if it’s not some other woman, man, or perhaps... anyway, if not careful, he might get snatched away. Remember that witch named Leigh was coveting the Lord of the Dark Tower’s heavenly appearance."

Upon hearing this, Lune disdainfully replied, "What an idiot."

Swish—

The Crescent Blade flashed instantly, pressing against Pip Finch’s neck, Lune coldly said, "If you dare spout nonsense again, I’ll sever your dog head."

After speaking, he applied pressure with the Crescent Blade.

"Damn!"

Pip Finch quickly dodged back, clutching the fresh blood on his neck, angrily barking, "Are you serious!"

Lune’s face was cold as stone, "If you dare talk nonsense again, I guarantee you won’t have the chance to say another word."

After finishing, he turned and left.

Pip Finch jumped in rage, shouting towards Lune’s retreating figure, "Arrogant, aren’t you? Just wait, when I’ve mastered my skills, I’ll make you call my name every day and see what you can do!"

After delivering his threat, Pip Finch also left.
