CHAPTER 87: CHAPTER 87: PATERNITY TEST (PART 1)

Raina North quickly closed her eyes and recited the Heart Clarity Spell.

Elias Hawthorne used a dagger to tear his shirt into long strips and forcefully tied it above Raina North’s arm, mimicking Raina’s earlier movements to push the blood out.

After a bit more of the poisonous blood flowed out, Elias Hawthorne couldn’t push it any further.

"Help me tie another strip on my arm, then take me to the hospital."

"Alright." Elias Hawthorne quickly tied the strip on, then bent down to lift Raina North horizontally.

As her body was lifted into the air, Raina instinctively wrapped her arms around Elias Hawthorne’s neck.

She lifted her eyes to look at Elias Hawthorne.

Even from this life-or-death angle, Elias Hawthorne looked strikingly handsome.

She couldn’t help but recall the scene of Elias Hawthorne taking off his shirt earlier.

She saw it all clearly—how firm his chest muscles were and how pleasing his skin looked.

This type of venomous snake has a cunning, fox-like disposition, as sly as a wolf, with a potent poison. After being poisoned, if untreated immediately with serum, death can occur in less than an hour. Typically, they live only deep in the tropical rainforest."

Elias Hawthorne raised an eyebrow: "You’re trying to tell me I owe you my life-saving grace."

Raina North was speechless: "Clearly, my emphasis was on the last sentence. Given this snake’s habits, it wouldn’t appear in Veridia, let alone in Southgate. OK?"

"I understand, don’t worry."

"I’m not worried. After all, nobody is trying to kill me." If it wasn’t for Baby’s sake, she wouldn’t have bothered to speak up.

Despite the antidote, Raina North remained exhausted and soon fell asleep after speaking.

Elias Hawthorne tucked Raina’s hand under the blanket, and after ensuring it was snug, stood up from the bedside. When he turned around, his handsome face turned grim.

Despite repeatedly disliking his supposed big brother always trying to win over mummy, Casper North never doubted him and was quite welcoming of his real big brother.

Raina North stood on the rooftop for a long time.

The fierce wind kept blowing, chilling her to the bone, yet failed to calm her mind.

Earlier, she went to collect the parentage test report, assuming it was just a routine check, only to discover that the report indicated Bobby was not her son.

Bobby couldn’t be anything but her son. She couldn’t have mistaken it!

Someone must be tampering with it!
