The battle ended quickly.

It wasn’t that the black-robed figures lacked strength; in fact, their skills, certified by Jonah Rivers, were exceptionally formidable.

Though she brought quite a few people, the Reed Family was in such a dire situation that they needed more help. To minimize unnecessary casualties, Raina North had sent some allies away.

The main reason was that keeping more people there was pointless.

The room’s space was limited, too many people would only hinder movement.

Under these circumstances, the battle concluded quickly because experts from The Dark Tower and The Hades Clan arrived, personally led by Elias Hawthorne and Corvus Hades.

With the addition of these two superpowers, the situation turned instantly, and the battle ended swiftly.

Many black-robed figures were killed or injured, and the rest were bound, kneeling on the ground in a sorry state.

Raina North showed no mercy; when these people were killing the Reeds, they certainly showed none.

Pip Finch came over to ask Raina North: "Orion, how should we deal with these people?"

"First, take them back to The Celestial Alliance’s dungeon. Once the Reed Family’s matters are settled, we’ll interrogate them thoroughly to find out who’s behind all this."

"Yes." Pip Finch heeded Raina North’s orders, turning to the black-robed figures, casually grabbing the leader and preparing to leave.

Saying this, he shouted again: "Lord, I’ll go ahead!"

After shouting, he shoved Pip Finch away and rushed recklessly towards a large sword standing on the ground.

He impaled himself completely.

This scene shocked everyone.

Pip Finch scratched his head, puzzled: "We haven’t even gotten him into The Celestial Alliance’s dungeon yet, and he’s chickened out? Really spineless, doesn’t even understand that living poorly is better than dying."

Pip Finch was deeply disdainful of the figure.

Elias Hawthorne replied: "I did not."

Corvus Hades chuckled, saying: "The Nameless Lord’s plan failed, of course he’s not going to admit it. It’s only human nature, we all understand."

Elias Hawthorne glanced at Corvus Hades indifferently, saying: "Emperor Hades, knowing it so well, planning this for a long time, aren’t you?"
