CHAPTER 716: 【710】BEAST WORLD FARMING 20 (1 MORE)

"They are Fallen Beasts, you should be careful," Zhou warned.

When she first encountered Wandering Beasts and Fallen Beasts, she didn’t know the difference, but later, Pan Lin had enlightened her on the matter.

Wandering Beasts are often abandoned by their families, or become orphans. Still others dislike tribal life, preferring a solitary existence, roaming the jungle. They retain some humanity, understanding what is right and wrong; they do not resort to force when seeking a mate.

Fallen Beasts, on the other hand, are those who have strayed onto a wicked path, coming from the ranks of Wandering Beasts. They employ abnormal methods to obtain females, harming them, forcibly taking mates, or even killing their companions—such beasts endure the condemnation of the Beast God. Not only is their lifespan reduced to under fifty years, but due to backlash, they will never have descendants.

After becoming Fallen Beasts, knowing well the forbidden, they indulge in their destructive desires for females, exploiting their bestial urges, while they still draw breath.

Clearly, these three Fallen Beasts had been observing them for quite some time, aware that Tangtang was protected by only Pan Lin, which was why they launched their attack during their rest.

The three Fallen Beasts were respectively a Scorpion Beast, a Spider Beast, and a Lizard Beast; merely hearing their names sent a shiver down her spine.

Coincidentally, all of them were cold-blooded creatures. In fact, most Wandering Beasts and Fallen Beasts are cold-blooded.

Because they are cold-blooded, they are not favored by females. In comparison, Pan Lin was far better; his heart had remained unchanged towards her since the beginning, and he had always shown her ample respect.

"Pan Lin, how many days has it been since we last saw each other, and you’ve found such a beautiful Purple Mink? Why haven’t you mated yet? Are you perhaps moving too slow?" The ugliest among them, the Scorpion Beast, a Four-Pattern Beast with strength comparable to Pan Lin’s, spoke.

"That’s right, if you’re not up to it, why not let us brothers have a go? Such a beautiful female is a rare treasure in the Beast World!" The Spider Beast chimed in, rubbing his hands together, eyes soaked with naked lust, making Tangtang’s skin crawl just by looking at him.

"We had no idea such a lovely female had arrived in the Panlong Forest. Had we known, we would have come before the rainy season."

The color-changing Lizard Beast, joking with a sinister sneer, fixated his gaze on Tangtang; his alternating green and red complexion was simply unbearable.

"Hei Wu, looks like you’ve forgotten how pain feels now that your scars have healed. How about I help you remember?" When the incident of the scar on Hei Xie’s face was mentioned, his expression suddenly turned menacing, his eyes as sharp as poisoned arrows, emitting a profound black gleam.

"You’re Four Patterns; I am too. What makes you think that in the company of a female, you can win against the three of us? Pan Lin, being overly arrogant will backfire on you. Since we’ve met today, why not share that little female with us rather than both sides suffering injury? What do you say?"

Pan Lin’s desire to battle was instantly ignited; his body’s green light burst forth explosively. Before the three beasts had a chance to transform, he launched an attack at them. Despite being outnumbered, he flung her forcefully toward a tree, shouting loudly, "Run! Don’t look back, run as fast and as far as you can!"

With danger imminent, Tangtang transformed into her beast form, quickly leaping onto the nearest tree with the agility and grace of the Purple Mink Clan. As the Scorpion Beast attempted to pursue her, Pan Lin forcefully expanded his body, his thick tail deflecting the scorpion’s attack on her: "Run fast!"

Even though Tangtang felt reluctant and worried, she knew what fate awaited her in the hands of a Fallen Beast. She bit down on her teeth, running with all her might.

She had no idea how long Pan Lin could hold out, nor how long she could keep going. She gave it her all, but her legs were too short, her burst speed was there, but clearly lacked stamina. What was worse, the distance to the tribe was too great. Relying on her two legs meant running until dark; she wasn’t a combatant beastman, nor did she have the strength for that.

Beastmen were acutely sensitive to the scent of females. Despite her full effort, the Scorpion Beast caught up to her—it was clear Pan Lin was entangled by the Spider Beast and the Lizard Beast.

"Don’t be afraid, little female," assured the ugly Fallen Beast, "if you behave, I won’t force myself on you. You’re so pretty, I’m more likely to cherish you than hurt you. Come here, what’s wrong with following me and abandoning Pan Lin? That guy is so dull; you won’t have any fun. Follow me, and I’ll shower you with the best food and drink. No one dares to mess with us Fallen Beasts."

In the Beast World, all beastmen were astonishingly handsome, but she had never seen one as grotesque as the Fallen Beast before her. He must have been malformed from birth, his entire face crooked, his eyeballs bulging outward. Perhaps for this reason, he was abandoned and thus became a Fallen Beast. While it was said that a person deserving of pity usually had a detestable side, she would rather die than fall into his clutches.

The Scorpion Beast had a long tail, and they were venomous. When he saw Tangtang take up a defensive stance, and her eyes glowed fluorescent green due to the concentration of energy, he remarked in surprise,

"I didn’t expect that Pan Lin lad to be so generous with you. No wonder he couldn’t withstand my attack just now. It turns out he gave you a part of his inner core!"

Gave her a part of his inner core? What did that mean?

"Even if you’re immune to all poisons, what does it matter? If my scorpion poison injures you, you’ll still suffer a severe depletion of your Essence. Would you rather come over willingly, or should I use extreme measures to torment you half to death before I take you back?"

Knowing when to adapt is the mark of a wise person. Tangtang made no futile struggle; she transformed back into human form and obediently walked toward him.

Hei Wu watched her face with a mesmerized gaze, marveling ceaselessly at heaven’s meticulous crafting. As she walked up to him and he extended that dreadful face that made her stomach churn towards her, she tensed up and closed her eyes. Hei Wu, stirred by her action, suddenly seized her smooth neck like jade.

As he lifted her off the ground and laughed maniacally, she suddenly reached out, slashing forcefully across his neck. In an instant, Hei Xie’s eyes bulged in disbelief as he looked at her; black blood hissed from his slit throat, spraying out...

He stiffened there, one hand clutching his neck, the other squeezing her, trying to strangle her to death. Then, suddenly, a figure flashed from behind him to his left. Sharp claws pierced straight through his heart. Before he could transform into his beast form and assume a defensive stance, the figure grabbed his heart and yanked it back. Black blood gushed forth like sludge.

With a ’thump,’ he could no longer hold her, and Tangtang, who was nearly strangled to death, suddenly could breathe. The scene before her eyes terrified her so much she stumbled backward, covering her neck, starting to cough violently...
